The car was good but not clean on the inside. The same was told to the agent while returning but did not get any response from him. Otherwise everything was good.

I had a great experience throughout the whole process, from making the reservation online, to picking up the car and dropping it off at a different location. The staff were great and very helpful and everything went very smooth.

We had an excellent experience with Enterprise. The pick-up, car, and explanation of the charges went off without a hitch. The best part of the experience was when we dropped our car off. it was before the facility opened, at 3:30 am. There was a shuttle waiting to take us to O'Hare airport. On the ride to the airport, my daughter left her phone in the shuttle. we did not realize this until 30 minutes after we had been dropped off. I tried calling Enterprise but they were not open yet. a few minutes later, our shuttle driver came running up to us with the phone in hand! He asked if it was ours. We were not easy to spot due to being farther into the terminal but he found us anyway! Talk about great customer service and going the extra mile! Thank you!

Rented a car for business. First time with corporate account. Additional fees (facility fee?) are absurd. Will just use travel sites going forward, better deals found elsewhere.
The service - I was allowed to pick out a free upgrade, no cars the size of my reservation - that was fine. I pointed out a large scratch on the door to the gentleman checking the car for me. He said 1. it wasn't large enough to worry about and 2. It was already noted in the system. Fine - I went on my way.
Return - "Any idea what happened to the door here while you had the car" I explained that it was there, and I had specifically brought it up. I was asked who checked me into the car? Can I describe him? Give me a break. I had damage waiver anyways, but it is the principle of the thing.
BE CAREFUL that they don't try to pin the damage on you. They knew I had damage waiver. They had undocumented damage on a newer car and saw an easy way to get their branch out of taking the hit.

The service is always prompt and efficient at Enterprise, but I am always frustrated by their deceptive charges. I recently made a trip to Chicago that was supposed to be three days and was told my charges would be $94. I ended up using the car for only two days (and was told it would be pro-rated) and the bill turned out to be $140!?! To be fair, all these rental companies quote one thing and charge another - but the first one that actually charges what they quote will have my loyalty.

The Enterprise branch at O'Hare offers quite possibly the best experience you can have at car rentals. It is not the cheapest option, but lines are non-existent, service is instantaneous, paperwork is minimal, and customer care is exceptional. I also appreciate the extended opening hours.
In my last rental, no more than three minutes passed since I walked into the door till I drove away in the rental car.
I found the vehicle in perfect shape and their phone assistance is great, i.e., they have humans answering the phone and giving you the answers you want, as opposed to interminable annoying voice menus.
At O'Hare, you could probably save a little by using more affordable options, but it would waste a lot more time. If you are tight on time you might just not have that option. I recommend this Enterprise branch and would choose it again.

People were very nice and I looked the automation of sign-in for a car. The only down-side was the car that I got was a very weak engined car. Even though the car was small it just had not much power. Service was great though from the people.

My husband rented a car from O'Hara in Chicago. From the beginning it was a miserable experience. The car was filthy and smelled. The agent suggested we drive with the windows open. And I told him it smells like cigarette smoke and we don't even smoke...PLEASE!!!! Then, he bought us a Kia Sorrento which was okay. When we needed directions to our hotel in Skokie, IL they gave my husband such a small printout after waiting 1/2 hr. we couldn't even read it. They said, they didn't even know how to make it larger. The agent suggested to bring it closer to his face. My husband said, while I'm driving? Also, when asked how to exit the parking lot to get on the highway they didn't know how to do that either. Needless to say, we will NEVER rent from Enterprise again!

The line was short but thats about it. We booked out car online as that's where we found the best price. While being shown our options for cars, we were give one option. We didn't like it so we got one other option. Which was a lot better. The car was fine and had no problems during the rental. However. During the return, they didn't know who we were. Apparently they registered the wrong car to us. So I left my name and number so I could actually get changed. About a week later, I finally got a call. The lady was just as confused so she said she would call back. She didn't. A few days later I finally got a lady that knew what she was doing and was able to check me out so I was finally done with this car rental ordeal. The actual car was fine, but the customer service was very lacking.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had renting a car. The shuttle was there when we came out of the airport, which doesn't always happen with one of the other rental companies. Once we arrived at Enterprise we were in and out in our rental in 15 minutes. The return was just as great. Returned and hopped right on a shuttle to the airport. Everyone was great from the person who greeted us to the representative who put us in our car to the shuttle driver who took us back to the airport! I will be using Enterprise in the future for my rental needs!

I rented a compact,advertised as 5 seater, the car barely fit 3. It clean on the outside but inside looked like someones lunch blew up. We pointed out the condition of the car and got push back on a different car, told 'we wouldn't be charged for the dirt' I ALWAYS rent from Enterprise and THIS was a first. I love Enterprise but will never rent from O'hare again. John, a manager there called to ask how my service was, he apologized and offered a 15% discount on my next rental. I already get 'discounts' he should have offered to take $$ off THIS rental but his management training obviously wasn't all that! Shout out: The week prior, we rented a Van from the Bremerton WA location for a cross country road trip. We ended up with a flat and had to change vehicles in Missoula MT. What a difference in service. Everyone at both locations Friendly, Accommodating and professional! Gave us a day off for our 'trouble' and this wasn't even their fault! Take a lesson here O'hare employees!

The service was excellent. I have never seen such professional and thoughtful service with Enterprise. This location goes above and beyond and it is definitely note worthy. I have to rent cars often with Enterprise due to travel for work and I must say that this was by far my best experience.

An absolutely professional experience. The Shuttle was on time, staff was friendly and efficient, and the car rode perfectly well. My return was easy and I was on my way to the airport five minutes after dropping off my car. I was offered assistance each step of the way. Will definitely use again.
