Good service

This is my first time renting property. I called Action to come check the furnace and water heater to make sure everything was running correclty. Their fees were ok and of course it helped I had a coupon. The service person was professional and did exactly what he said he was gong to do.

Never again

Called action Plumbing on a Saturday for my friends who are from another country. I could not believe it they charged them 380.00 dollars for soldering a 1 inch connector pipe on the water heater. I spoke to the plumber by phone and he was very rude said it is what it is. Never again!!!! I would recommend everyone before you have them come out get a quote first. They will rip you off!!!!!

furnace deal

Last week I purchased their ksl deal and booked them to turn up my furnace before I have to turn it on. They came out in just a few days, were on time and in and out in no time. My kind of service.

Late and lied to

I set up my appointment for between 8-12. Someone from the main office called me at 9 and 1030 to let me know they hadn't forgotten about me. I eventually called them at one o'clock and asked them where they were. They said the tech would call me when he was on the way. 15 minutes later the tech called and said he was at my house. The technician told me that my system was 3.2 pounds low on freon (I found out later it only holds 5.36). I asked him how much the system holds and he told me something like 15 pounds and If the system loses more than a certain percentage they they have to do a $1500 leak check. Total bill $352. I called the main office to see why he told me he put 3.2 pounds of freon in and the bill said he only put one pound in and performed a "light condensor cleaning".

Winter ready

I know it’s a bit early to start thinking about making sure my furnace is working correctly, but the nights are getting pretty cold up here in the mountains, so I gave Action a call. They had a great deal running and the furnace is ready to run when we decide to finally put it on

fixed my a/c

My AC wasn’t working quite right so I called Action. It wasn’t a cheap fix, but at least my AC unit will be working for at least another year.

Great deal, slow service

I bought the groupon a while back to get my A/C looked at. They finally came out to my house after 2 months. I wasn’t too happy about that, but the fact that I only paid 20 bucks or something and they came and cleaned out the vents and even explained how I can maintain my ac every month – it was well worth the wait. The tech was respectful, on time and easy to understand. But only if they could have gotten me in sooner.

Don't Buy It !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went back to Dex to get the number of the plumber we used before. I was a little shocked to see Action's 4 star rating. Wereceived a bid from Action along with 2 others. Action's bid was nearly 5 times the other two. I was shocked, when the other plumbers pointed out things in the bid that didn't need to be done.(I showed them Actions bid after they completed theirs) Action said things needed to be brought up to code. Both of the other plumbers noted everything was up to code. So how come the 4 Star rating? Kind of Funny when there's 21- 5 Star ratings written on 9/23/2011, and not one 5 star before that. Just saying...................BEWARE and call for other bids. Glad I Did.

Extremely Disappointed

I was extremely disappointed and post this as a warning to anyone thinking of using this company. I booked an appointment for an air conditioner tune up back in mid May. I heard a radio ad, and it sounded like a good deal. The first appointment they could give me was June 4, 2012. Almost three weeks away. I thought "OK, it’s a good deal, so I can wait".Today, June 4th, I take the day off work as they will only give you a morning or afternoon time. They were supposed to show up between noon and 4pm.At 3:30pm, the phone rings, and they say that they need to reschedule, and aren't going to make the appointment. And they want to reschedule me for June 18th (Two More Weeks!).They said that it got hot, and they had an overwhelming number of emergency calls, and they had to take those first.I said that was not acceptable, and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told that the supervisor would tell me the same thing. I said I still wanted to speak to a supervisor. After waiting 15 minutes, the supervisor came on the phone and told me the same thing.The supervisor told me that due to the heat the last three days, they had overwhelming number of emergency calls, and I would have to reschedule, and there was nothing she could do. It’s just the way it is.Well, what it really says, is, that these people book these loss-leader appointments and have no intention of keeping them unless their technicians are idle. They book 1 or 2 appointments for the "end of the day" (Between noon and 4) and if the tech gets done early, then they send him to fill up the last hour of the day by doing a quick tune up.They make more money on emergency repairs, and people who schedule work done don't matter to them. So beware - all these people care about is taking the emergency calls, and telling anyone who had the foresight to plan, to take a flying leap in a rolling donut. It’s false advertising. They aren't booking an appointment, they are adding you to a list of "we will come if we haven't got anything else to do" people.I learned the hard way. I hope you book your service elsewhere, because all these people care about is booking high cost emergency work.Buyer Beware, and go somewhere [email protected]

Very Upset

I have a horrible swamp cooler barely works and I wanted to get an estimate for central air. I called and the person was not very bright, kept asking me the same questions, but you don't deal with the people on the phone so whatever. They gave me an hour time frame for the technician to show up 5 minutes before that hour is up I get a call that nobody is available and we can try to reschedule. I work 2 jobs I don't really have time to waist, waiting for an hour is enough. So you can try to set another appointment and we will see if at that time they actually show up! or waist another hour.

Great company!

Great services yesterday with Action. On time, did exactly what they were supposed to do with the tune-up and were easy to work with.

easy and thankful

Ran my A/C for the first time earlier this week and it was not good. I called Action to get a tune-up. They warned me tha tthey were busy, but thaey did make me an appt and kept it. Everything works great now!
