Amazing Company to work with.

I will use Action for all future services for Plumb, HVAC, and Electrical.��I�had another �company� install�my�garbage disposal� and the job was awful. They came out multiple times because it kept leaking and they couldnt figure it out.�Arnold�had it fixed in no time and did it as a courtesy�This is super good service.�I'm very impressed with Arnold�and the office staff for how smoothly things were handled.


Terrible company

Action charged me more than I was quoted. We also had a problem with the furnace they installed and it took 4 week to get someone to call us back. They advertise about their great 24 hour service, but don't plan on seeing anything like that. I talked to multiple employees and managers, and they all had the same dishonest attitude. I even wrote a letter to the owner of the company, telling about my experience and never heard a word back. They don't care if you are unhappy. They seemed nice when giving the initial quote but after that they were all rude, dishonest, and unhelpful. Don't use this company, if anything goes wrong they will not care to fix it.



Action was very impressive. The tech was helpful, honest and very professional. I will always use Action.


DON'T call these guys VERY DISAPPOINTED in them

o Do NOT call these guys $530 dollars and 4 service calls later. The first 3 service call and they replaced parts that where NOT bad, in my mind they had no idea what they were doing. They also when replace parts turn off the gas which shut down the water heater and never restarted it and left the Furnace in a mess covers all left off. When I got them back I told them I DID NOT want the Same TECH he was clues. They sent out a new guy and we told him want was wrong, he fixed it and it works now. BUT I am out $530.00 for WHAT parts I did not need...... I better this does not go on your web page. o NOT CALL THESE GUYS THEY REPLACE PARTS that you will not need just to make there 20% off resale of parts. Sound like the Tech make money off resale / replace of parts. One more thing this furnace has a 10 year warranty on parts. But they DO NOT do warranty work on YORK furnaces. You would think they would say something like that to you before doing the work. They kept the parts you want to know what I think, they will take the part and turn them in to YORK has a warranty work and keep the money that way they get paid twice..


Still waiting for someone to show up! Terrible customer service

They said they got busy and couldn't make my first scheduled appt, so I rescheduled two weeks later (their next aval. Appt) suppose to be here between 11-2 but they never came. Very disappointed!!! Would never do business with them. Apparently they don't value their customers.


Action error cost me $2695

The AC compressor burned up at five years because Action miscalculated the air flow/number of ducts required to support the 3 ton unit installed. This was incompetence. Action also failed to register the ACs with Goodman so the warranty was void. The AC was carted off to salvage. Action should have advised that Goodman is a lower end product.


Help with Burst Pipe

We had a burst pipe in the basement of our rental condo that caused a lot of water everywhere and damage. Action came out as soon as we called them and got the problem fixed within a couple hours. They even helped coordinate a crew to repair the water damage.


NOT ON TIME. waited entire day! they dont value their customers time.

we have a maintinance agreement with action plumbing. We shceduled an appointment with them to do the plumbing part of the agreement. they shcedueled from 1pm to 4pm. I agreed to the time. On the day the appointment was scheduled a worker for action called at 8am and said somone cancelled and that action would be there "right now." the next call came at about 2pm to tell us that the sercive man would be late. What terrible customer service!! They oviously DO NOT VALUE their customers time. there are many OTHER Plumbers that value their customers time. I would suggest you NEVER CALL action Plumbing


Dishonest.... service plan is a a hoax to sell you stuff you don't need!

We had Action come in to our house about a year ago for an emergency plumbing issue and they did a great job but they totally over priced their work. They would have charged us an extra $300 if we didn't sign up for their service plan. I'm like... whatever! Their service plan is just as we expected. An opportunity to come into your home and do high pressured sales. We were told that we naturally needed a new furnace and ac unit. We decided to get a second opnion and was told that there was nothing wrong with either. He also told us that Action tried to bully someone else into getting a new furnace when they just needed a pilot light re lighted. Apparently vacumming the furnace is also not part of their service package (I guess only high pressured sales is part of the service) as he also told us that our furnace was very dirty. We also had Action do a bit on a water heater and they came in 30% or more higher than the next highest bid. Very expensive and very dishonest. I don't see how Action can get much repeat business once people figure out how dishonest they are and they have no repeat business.


Expensive and didn't fix the problem

Fan on the air conditioner had gone out and we called them for their discount a/c tune up. Terrible mistake! He found all sorts of "problems" and said that if we got the work done, the unit would work much better. We didn't know any better and by the time he left, we were out $900 and the fan STILL didn't work. He said it was a part he didn't have and that he would come the next day to replace it and that should make it work. Guess who didn't show up the next day? We called and a day later another tech came out and replaced the part and it still didn't work. He then said the fan itself was out and wanted to charge us $600 to replace it! Also said he could do it on the side for less but not much. Went to the home improvement store and they hooked us up with a new fan for $100. It took me a half hour to get it in and trust me, I'm not good with electrical things. I don't see how it would cost $500 for a half hours work. We've used them twice before this, one good experience and one bad. This was the last straw. Will NEVER call them again and suggest no one else does either unless you want a high bill and poor service


Call someone else

After I paid these jokers 250.00 to diagnose then fix my air conditioner they did not fix it. They agreed to come back out and look again, but did not show up. Set up a third appointment for them to come back out and do what they should have done the first time around and they did not show up again. Called back again and when I asked for a manager and told them if no manager was going to get on the phone or no tech would be to my home I wanted my money back, I was hung up on. Don't call these guys, what a joke and waste of my time!



So my mother in law called Action last fall to come out and take a look at our furnace and see the condition of it. They came right on time and said the furnace was in great shape and is what we should get was an A/C unit, so thinking that the furnace would last at least a few more years we bought the A/C unit like they recommended. The next day they showed up right on time and installed the unit but said they couldn't add the Freon because it needed to be 70 degrees so we said ok. Then winter hit and guess what? Our furnace went out. We call Action to come out and this time they told use we needed a whole new furnace and the one we had was no good. The new furnace they wanted to sell us would cost about $3200.00 and the price was going up at the first of the year so we had to buy it now. I called bull and then called mountain air. They came right out and told us that our furnace had been going out for a long time and they sold us one installed for $1650.00, half the price action wanted. Now it is in the 70's and our A/C unit still needs Freon so we've been trying to get Action out here to finish their job but they are a no show. They said they would by today between 1-4 but at 9 o'clock still no Freon, no cold air, no action guy. I would NEVER recommend Action to anyone, ever....STILL WAITING. Worst company ever. I can't believe they are still in business.


Water Softener Hero

Last week we called Action to get our water softener cleaned out. There was grimy stuff all over the dishes and the tub. We tried cleaning it from home, but it was just too much for us to handle. We called Action Plumbing and they were able to come out yesterday and clean the water softener in just under an hour. Good pricing and they took my coupon. The tech even showed us some tricks to maintain the water softener ourselves.

I thought the Groupon was too good to be true for the water heater flush. I thought, why not, can't hurt. It turns out Action was a huge help. They only came and did the flush, but the tech gave me some tips on how to maintain the water heater and how often it should be cleaned. Easy to book the appointment and he showed up within the window that they said they would.



I called them on a Thursday morning because my furnace went off. They said they would come during the day, but when they hadn't shown by noon, I called and asked what the time frame was, and they said that they were running very late and that they were "pushing" to have us serviced that day. I asked if they were sure they were going to come, because I was going to call somebody else, but they said "no, we're pushing for today, so we should be there." At about six they called back and said that they weren't going to make it. I asked if they were sure they were coming, because we'd already frozen our butts off the previous night without a furnace, and they kept saying "We're pushing for tomorrow." I asked if there was a chance they weren't coming. They kept saying "we're pushing."The next day they hadn't shown up by three, so I called and asked when they were coming, and they said "We're running late, but we're PUSHING for today." By this time I asked if they were positive that they were going to come, because I didn't want to freeze until Monday. They kept insisting that they were PUSHING it, and never even gave me a possibility of them not making it. By five they called and asked what my availability was on Monday, because they weren't going to make it. So, I wasted two whole days waiting for these guys and they never showed up. I have never seen this lack of professionalism. I can't even believe that they thought I was just going to wait until Monday for them! I said "No thanks," hung up, and called Mountain Air because it was what came first on Google. They came within the hour and fixed the furnace in about ten minutes


A good job

Just used action again for tuning up the furnace. it overall was a good service. it took a while to get scheduled, but they were in and out in no time and the furnace is ready for the next big cold spell.


Great Tech

Called Action to tune up my furnace. They did a great job and even changed the batteries in my thermostat. Very nice technician.


Used these guys forever... not anymore...

I have used Action for years however it seems that the bigger they have gotten and the more they advertise, less they provide good service. I called them out for an estimate on a commercial job. Two guys showed up the next day, but I have never gotten my estimate. I have called repeatedly, but to no avail. Time to call someone else. My mom called on their furnace prep offer. They were a no show and then when she called they rescheduled her for December.


Furnace like new now

Just had Action over to do a furnace tune-up before we get any more snow and maybe it was because we try to tune it up every year - the tune up went smoothly and quickly. It was a huge help as the tech shared some extra tips with me to make sure I keep the furnace clean as well. Nic eof him.



Short story: Terrible customer service & the tech never showed up.Long story: I made an appointment with them on Oct. 1, 2012 after purchasing a Groupon. I understand that it can take awhile to get an appointment, and Oct. 29, 2012 was the earliest slot they had available. They gave me a 3-hour (12pm-3pm) window of time within which the tech was supposed to come out to do the work. I took a half day off work for this.I called them this morning to make sure the appointment was still going to be honored and they confirmed it, but said the tech would likely not be there until closer to the end of the time window. I left work around 1:30pm, just to make sure I would be there when they arrived. I waited until 3:10pm when their dispatcher called me and said the tech would be leaving their most recent appointment and would be on their way to me next.I waited. I waited some more. Finally, at 5:21pm I called the merchant. The dispatcher (Elizabeth) told me that they might still make it to my house today, but wasn't sure if, or when that might happen. She said there were nine calls in front of me. How did I go from being next, to ninth I wondered? She asked if I would prefer to reschedule. The next available appointment is in early December. A mere five additional weeks out. No joke, that was her offer.This is some of the worst customer service I have experienced (other than perhaps Comcast). I tried to explain to her my side of the situation, but she basically brushed me off.I would recommend you never work with them. My experience has been a huge waste of my time. It has left me frustrated and I am still without heat. This weekend it snowed outside and the temps dipped to a low of 47 degrees inside! They were lovely sleeping conditions, but it was a bit of a challenge to motivate out of my cocoon in morning.
