I have never had a bad experience her. The staff are always professional and helpful. The cars seem to all be in good shape. The process is very quick for pick up and drop off.

Painless! Grabbed shuttle, grabbed a car, took off! Same on the way back. Easy.

Leagues ahead of the other automobile rental companies. Affordable rates, quality service, hassle free process and excellent member rewards program.

I am so happy dealing with national..i have rented two times during my tourist visit to the US and found the staff are so nice and cooperative..i love the way of getting the rented car..so quick and process went so easy..in addition i love the way that enable me to select the car .. i have created membership and make the price very reasonable .. diffinitly iam going to deal with them again and again..Thanks..Mohammad Ali from Saudi Atabia

I love National and that is the reason I only rent with them. Hertz sucks. I was their Gold member and they never took care of me. National is best. Corey at this airport understood my need and was able to help. Very nice person. Person like him makes National what it is.

I have so far never had a bad experience with National. I love the Emerald Aisle with pick up and go. All the staff from pick up to returning or even if I have ever had to go to the office for anything have all been very courteous and helpful. Keep up the good work National.

I am always pleased with National, and this Detroit experience was no exception. Great car, well prepared, no issues with pickup or drop off. I extended my stay by 2 days with no problem, leading to a weekly rate that reduced my overall cost expectation, thankfully. Good work National.

I visited around 4 times in the past 3 months here. Good choice of cars for Emerald club members and smooth process. Easy pickup and return. Process needs improvement for exchange of cars. I find little inconvenience during my exchange for car. Other than this great service.

Pickup and drop off went smoothly. Tank was not full and inside windows were filthy. Always have a good experience with National, but this car was not prepared.

Unfortunately the worst experience with National (or any rental agency) I have ever had. I've been a loyal customer for many years (i rent every other week). This service was incompetent and inexcusable.

Nice to have Emerald Isle and not have to wait in line. But car was not very clean and smelled very badly of smoke. Busses were also dirty and waited a long time for pick up. Switched to them from Avis after having to wait in line too much at Avis. Will try them one more time next week and see which one to use.

Very disappointed in my experience at the DTW National Car Rental. My reservation paperwork said to go to the counter. There was only one counter person (at a major rental center, i.e. the DTW airport), resulting in a long wait to speak with someone to pick up my car. The counter person said that since I was an Emerald Member that I should have gone directly to the Emerald Aisle (so why didn't it say that on my reservation?). The counter person also said that I could only choose a certain type of car up to the Mid-size that I had reserved. Yet, when I finally checked out at the gate, I asked the person to confirm that I had chosen a car size consistent with my quoted price, and she said that I could choose any car from the Emerald Aisle.



It seems to me that National needs to get back to the basics by defining their standard processes and products and then properly training their people so that the customer can have a consistent and pleasant experience.

Great great great service, nice car - VERY clean and lots of good choices. I'm an executive member and enjoy the perk of missing the counter line and being dropped off directly in front of the executive line. Returning the car was just as easy with your very friendly staff. Thank you!

I can't say enough great things about National at the Detroit Airport. I forgot to make a reservation, but since I was an Emerald Club Memeber they didn't have a problem giving me a car as soon as I drove up. The remarkable part was upon my return. We were running very late with only 30 minutes until our plane left. We told the woman checking us in that we were late. She got an awesome young man named Angel to drive us directly to the front door of the terminal. We made our flight!! Exceptional service!!! Thanks Angel. You won't be forgotten.

Emerald Club pick up & return at this location was super easy, fast & friendly!

I haven't rented in a while but since I was a emerald member I decided to use national. There were quite a few new changes that I wasn't aware of such as: a 500 dollar deposit if you are a local and not flying in, the emerald isle doesn't have the selection of cars that I was use to it now has mostly foreign cars, and last but not least you cannot pay with cash any more only cards are accepted. Since I was VIP I would have thought those new rules would have been sent to my email since they always send me specials. Staff was very professional.

Emerald Club is so easy and available at this location. Bus drivers were very pleasant and helpful. I will use them again at this location with out any doubt.

Vehicle upgrade was nice but the cleanliness of the vehicle was horrible. I am not sure how much effort is put into cleaning these vehicles both on the inside and the outside. Seems that dirty towels were used as there was a smoky film all over the interior surfaces. The interior was black and therefore dirt is easily visible. The exterior was also black and was really dirty.

I love the fact that I was able to get dropped off by the bus at the pick up lane and just go and pick my own car and leave. Super convenient!! I always use National Rental cars when I travel. Car was clean and in very nice condition.
