Friday, January 25, 2019, I visited Sarasota Ford to examine the Ford Edge SUV. Earlier in the day a fellow sport participant introduced me to the features of his 2018 Ford Edge, he was also a previous owner of the same model. My intention was to purchase a 2020 Toyota 4Runner only if Toyota adds "technology systems" to the next year model, and updates the outdated interior of that vehicle. I also had rented a 2018 Ford Escape last year and was familiar with its features.

At Sarasota Ford I met product specialists Carsten Rueffer. Carsten was a great person to meet and ensure that my car purchasing issues and satisfaction were his priority. Within a few hours of discussing the Ford Edge with Carsten I agreed to return later that evening and consider the acquisition of a 2018 Ford Edge Titanium model.

Late Friday evening I purchased the vehicle from Carsten. He invited me to return Saturday morning and review many of the features of the new car.

First of all the car salesman( Carsten Rueffer) was excellent he wasn't just a Salesman he was an expert he cared about his job and how he could find the car for you and he worked hard at it, he saw that I was satisfied the sale was complete. then he had great follow-up manners. look forward to dealing with him again in fact if all their salespersons are like him I'm sure that business does quite well. I am so happy I contacted Sarasota Ford. After spending many hours at other dealerships, I decided to give one more a call/visit before giving up. I knew I wasn't going to be the easiest customer, especially with my current credit score - However, all I wanted was a chance and the opportunity to explore my options. I was welcomed by Sarasota Ford. The staff allowed me to tour their inventory without aggressively stalking me. I was introduced to Carsten who was kind, patient, knowledgeable and very understanding. We test drove several vehicles, eventually he found me exactly what I wanted ...and he managed to get me approved with the payment limit I personally set prior to car shopping. I was impressed by how friendly the staff was to visitors / customers - and, most importantly, I witnessed how encouraging and supportive the staff is with fellow co-workers. Although we all know that the car market is a competitive business, it was very refreshing to be in an environment where that was less obvious than most. The location was comfortable, with lots for people to do while waiting ; a cafe with yummy treats, beautiful aquariums, tvs and comfy couches. They even had a massage therapist offering free neck and shoulder massages in the showroom. This was the first time I have ventured out to make a big purchase alone. I am a single mom, a young widow - this kind of stuff can be very intimating. Thank you Sarasota Ford for helping me and working a deal so I can drive home in something safe and more dependable for me and my babies.
