Though I was nervous you made me feel as if I could be myself. Thank you also for the advice that was given to help me answer some tough questions, about leaving my job. I’ve worked with the Mahone Group for many years. They have taken the time to understand my expectations and learn what we require in temporary and direct hire staffing. The Mahone Group staff is professional, prompt, courteous and always sends top of the line people.

Working at Mahone was a great experience that really enhanced my skills. It brought my ability to succeed as a recruiter to a much higher level. A special thanks to Rob, Susan and Mahone for the privilege and success I have achieved.

I write this as an honest warning, as former employee I do not recommend being employed with Mahone Group. The negative reviews are true and I experienced them first hand. Upon meeting the owners of Mahone Group (Susan and Rob Young) they seemed wonderful. They painted a beautiful picture of what it would be like to work there as a recruiter. Working there was very much unlike the picture they painted for me in the interview process. I was a victim of verbal abuse and bullying there. Due to my age, gender, and inexperience, I'm sure it made it much easier for them to do so. I decided to leave on my own accord and respectfully on good terms even though I was driven away. I'm saddened to say that I began to trust the owners and that trust was used against me with deceit in my professional life. I will not be so naive in the future, my mistake. I know that I am a smart, professional, and hard working person and that my performance was not the issue. Many times I was yelled and cursed at, intimidated, threatened to be fired, told I wouldn't make it, and even had a company phone snatched from my face pulling hair out of my head. This review in no part is to gain revenge, its hoping someone will read this and not make the mistake I made.

DO NOT WORK AT THE MAHONE GROUP OR FOR THEM AT ONE OF THEIR CLIENTS!!! BEWARE. Rob and Susan Young are the owners, THEY ARE AWFUL. They are phony and fake. They come across as if they are nice and as if they like you but if hired to work at their office you will find out their personalities are totally opposite. They will smile with people who come in for an interview for an assignment then talk behind their backs when they leave. They are prejudice against any other race outside of white. They ask black people to take braids out of their hair, Rob even paid a woman to remove braids from her hair to work on an assignment. Once an Indian person came in for an interview, Susan said she smelled. They are verbally abusive to their staff members, especially Rob. He yells and curse at the staff. He works 7 days a week 15 hour days and expect the staff to do the same. The environment is so dysfunctional. Rob is hostile, disrespectful and unprofessional towards the entire staff. The turnover is huge. Employees resign within months of working there. Rob and Susan are phony to their clients too. They talk about them after a phone conversation. When Susan meet a client in person, she returns to the office and tell the staff personal information she found out about the client. Don't let the good reviews fool you, this is a BAD company to work for!!!

I had a very positive experience working with the Mahone Group. After my initial interview with the agency I was quickly placed in a temporary position for one week. During that week, the Mahone Group was wonderfully supportive. They were informative and answered all my questions. They followed up after my first day and during the week. Ultimately I was hired for a permanent position for the company I temped for. I cannot thank the Mahone Group enough for their personal interest in me. They were instrumental in guiding me on my career path.

Thank You for allowing me to join the team at the Mahone Group. Moving from a different state was certainly accompanied by a fear of seeking employment. I must say the experience was absolutely amazing. With the help of The Mahone Group the transition was smooth and fast. I would recommend your professional and friendly staff to anyone seeking employment especially if they are new to the area and need assistance with obtaining employment. Thanks again.

Hello, I wanted to tell you that I am very pleased with your worker’s work in our office this week. She is friendly, professional and has done any task assigned to her with a very cooperative and willing spirit. We had many top executives from across our firm in the office this week as well as top political and government officials from Atlanta, and she represented our office well. We also had our 100 Year Client Reception in our office on Wednesday evening attended by 120 guests. She helped us prepare all day for that event. You always send us good people, and that is why we continue to use your services exclusively.

RUN FROM MAHONE GROUP! THEY ARE VERY ABUSIVE AND ROB IS SOOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL. I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF HE WROTE ALL THESE REVIEWS TO HIDE THE FACT THAT HE IS PURE EVIL. TAKE IT FROM SOMEONE WHO SAW THINGS DAY IN AND DAY OUT WITH THEM. HOW THESE PEOPLE ARE STILL OPEN IS BEYOND ME. DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I'M SAYING, DON'T WORRY, YOU CAN SEE IT FOR YOURSELF.
