Three years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. On July 4th I called the wig studio to check about making an appointment. The owner answered and said she was not open that day but did not want to disappoint anyone who might call, so she remained nearby to take my call. She was more than kind on the phone and the next day I had the most wonderful experience in her wig studio. The owner gave me as much time as I needed and helped me to select the most beautiful wig I could ever have dreamed of. Unfortunately, my hair is still not grown in but wearing this awesome wig is a great consolation. I can't tell you how many people are shocked when they learn that this is a wig. I feel very very blessed to have met this most gentle, kind, generous, and professional woman!! Unfortunately, I thought she was retiring so I have not returned to tell her how grateful I am and to let her see what a difference she has made in my life. I plan to call tomorrow to do just that!

I went to Wig Studio a week before I was to start my chemo treatments. Maria was very kind and compassionate and made me feel right at home. She has a big selection and it took no time before I found a wig that looked similar to my own hair style and was very real looking. Sharon W.

Not only does this shop have the most beautiful & most natural wigs but also the most kind & compassionate owner. I’m a hairstylist that has taken clients there during chemotheropy to get wigs & just this week I had to take my sister in law in. Every time over all these years she has been so amazing to whoever I’ve brought in. She is soooo knowledgeable & always has the newest & best of what’s out there. She makes every person feel so comfortable & important when they sit in her chair & she spends so much time trying to make that person feel good even tho they are going through one of their toughest times in life. No woman ever takes losing their hair easily.... but she does an amazing job helping them through that! 💕

I just purchased a beautiful, natural looking wig from Maria. She is absolutely the kindest and most informative wig maker and seller in our area. She has compassion and patience realizing that it is often for medical reasons that her clients need wigs. She knew what I needed and ordered it in my color. I am thrilled with it.

The owner of this shop is such a kind, caring professional woman. My sister in law needed a wig due to hair loss from chemotherapy. Maria helped her choose the right wig. Went above & beyond what we expected. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a wig!

What a professional and compassionate person Maria is. Very caring and interested in making you feel good. Wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the choice of wig I picked. Gave me great instructions on taking care of the wig too. Did not regret passing up other larger salons for this one. I appreciate the personal interest Maria took to
accommodating me.

Maria was wonderful. Not only was the inventory plentiful and varied, Maria was so very knowledgeable and professional. There were other customers while I was there and Maria treated all of us the same way, helpful and caring. I highly recommend Maris and the Wig Studio.

Great Wig Selection, Kind and Knowledgeable Owner! A year after losing all my hair to Alopecia, I have finally found a source for beautiful wigs, and a place where I am made to feel very comfortable while trying them on. Maria is warm and welcoming, doesn't pressure you into buying, and the two wigs I've purchased from her continue to look brand new after bringing them back to her periodically for cleaning/conditioning. I highly recommend The Wig Studio!

I went there today and Maria was wonderful. I wanted to go to a place where they understood about clientele losing their hair due to chemo treatments. She was patient with me and helped me find the perfect wigs.. yes 2 of them! I would highly recommend Maria and this shop. Definately 5 stars.

I know that someone must be trying to discredit the owner of Wig Studio for what reason I cannot imagine. I have been a client of Maria the owner for many years and she would never be rude to anyone. In fact she goes beyond normal and always shows love and compassion when dealing with cancer patients or people who have hair loss and many times I have known her to give away or help those in trouble. I have read cards sent by daughters or husbands of clients who she helped brighten their day when they were dealing with illness that caused them to find it necessary to purchase a wig.

In reference to the human hair wigs when someone has medical problems it is not recommended for cancer patients to go with human hair as it requires much upkeep such as styling, washing and professional care and also is very expensive. As Maria would make a lot more more money she chooses to recommend what is best for the client. She does however recommend human hair for Alopecia clients as this is long term. Furthermore to stock human hair is not practical as it is custom or special ordered.

So my only take is either this person had a bad day herself when she was visiting Wig Studio or is purposely trying to discredit Maria.

My suggestion is do not take the word of one person but go visit Wig Studio, meet the owner Maria Posa for yourself and then form your own opinion. I am sure you will find her helpful and caring not about the sale but about the person.

Maria is amazing! She's so accommodating, and really understands on a personal level her clientele. I'm so glad to have met her, and to do business with her. She made me feel good about myself, and really lifted my self-esteem. I'm very happy with my wig. Her recommendation for me was spot on! Not only do I feel like I bought a superior product. I highly recommend Maria and her services at The Wig Studio. With the sudden death of our Mother, we were scrambling to get her wig cleaned and styled. Being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and the fear of losing my hair, I went to The Gathering Place for help with dealing and understanding cancer and subsequent hair loss. The Wig Studio was highly recommended by The Gathering Place for wigs and hair pieces. I went to visit Wig Studio the day after The Gathering Place and was met by the most sincerely beautiful and loving person I had encountered in a long time. Maria is interested first in the person and secondarily the retail result of her business. The genuine love of humanity speaks volumes by the way she speaks to her customers. I told her what I was looking for and within minutes, she had just what I wanted. Her shop is full of beautiful wigs and hair pieces. The variety is incredible. But the most incredible part of it all is Maria. To be shown such compassion and understanding during a very difficult time is something I shall never forget. I encourage anyone who has hair loss to visit this incredible women.

I visited this wonderful place today, I was thrilled to find such a wonderful caring person, Maria. I have dealt with thinning hair for years and she knew exactly what I needed! I walked out with a confidence I haven't had in a very long time! No appointment needed!

She was very easy to work with and helped us a lot.

Found the shop owner to not only be helpful, but compassionate too. She was able to find me several wigs within a short amount of time that were more than acceptable. One even felt remarkably like human hair.
