I had incredible pain and lower back issues when I saw Dr. Schuler in April, 2018. I was very concerned about surgery, but after seeing the results of my MRI from my GP, realized it would be inevitable if I were to have any quality of life. Dr. Schuler and his staff were amazing. They put me at ease with their professionalism and expertise, and the positive interactions of all made my surgery and follow-up care a seamless. They truly worked as a team and were available to speak with me any time I had questions. I am pleased to report that one year later, I am back to yoga, yard work and all normal duties free of pain. Bravo!

Excellent experience from making an appointment, check in, all staff is fantastic. Physical Therapy staff and experience are also fantastic.

Was treated like a pro from the initial meeting through the follow up, Everyone on staff goes out of their way to make you feel special and make sure you are getting top notch service and care. Dr. Schuler truly went out of his way to get me in to surgery to avoid me spending any more time with the unbearable nerve pain I was experiencing...truly a Godsend!

I sought a 2nd opinion from Dr. Schuler neck and arm pain. Unlike the prior physician, Dr. Schuler was thorough and provided me with detailed options.

Dr. Schuler was able to get me in and diagnose my problem areas and set a plan of action in place. It eventually led to surgery but the results have been amazing. I am now 3 months out with no pain at all.

Dr. Schuler was amazing from beginning to end. He listened to my issues, then guided me on what my options where. While I was completely confident in any decision he would have made, he had me make the final decision. It was the best decision I have ever made. Now I am in the gym 5 times a week and enjoying life! It may sound cliche, but Dr. Schuler saved my life. No more depression of not being able to move. Life is grand! Thank you Dr. Schuler and VSI!!

VSI is the best experience i have ever had medically... Everyone from the receptionist to the nurse to the PA to my surgeon Dr. Schuler is just awesome... The medical facilities are incredible from the waiting room to the exam room to the xray room... Everyone is so friendly, they are not rushed, they show you you xrays and talk in terms that you can understand... I am totally sold on VSI, I am comfortable here, I complete;y trust these folks and I believe and trust in all of their abilities to help me get better... Yall are awesome....

Literally from the first phone call to the last appointment, the level of care provided by every staff member of VSI with every contact was outstanding. Despite my insurance company throwing hurdles in the path of my treatment, VSI navigated the way and took me from persistent, debilitating pain to full recovery and NO pain. My only regret is not finding VSI sooner. I have and will continue to encourage those dealing with back spinal problems to seek the professional help of Dr. Schuler and his exceptional practice. VSI is the model by which all other medical practices should strive to achieve.

Always thorough, never jump to conclusions and offer different approaches to treatment. VSI team are always professional and at the same time sympathetic to the patients needs.

I have entrusted Dr Schuler twice now with my neuro care - two years ago for lower back surgery and most recently for disk replacement in my c-spine. To return to a Dr for care stemming from a new injury after being released from care from a previous injury is the greatest compliment I can provide.

I have never experienced a more professional staff in a medical setting. Everyone was a joy to work with, from the front desk to the top physicians. The level of competence was impressive. I had an extremely difficult surgery and complications that could not have been prevented, yet through each step I was cared for professionally and with grace and kindness. I would recommend Dr. Nguyen to anyone. He is eager to help and always listens to any questions, or concerns that I may have both before and after my surgeries. I always feel that I have his undivided attention and that I am his #1 priority. He is also great at communicating with my family what is going on with me and where I am at in the process. He is a true asset to VSI.
