I have been in pain for years and decided to come to VSI for a second opinion. While meeting with Dr. Nguyen he mentioned stem cells. We talked about diagnostic tests that would be done and I decided this was the right path for me. I had my stem cell procedure 0n Februry 24, It is now April 9 and I can not put into words how truly life changing this has been for me. I had pain and was not very mobile before the procedure... I am almost pain free and I am increasing my activities every day. I am absolutely grateful beyond words that my path crossed with Dr. Nguyen.

I came to Dr. Nguyen wheelchair bound in extreme pain, with little hope of ever walking again. He listened to every detail of my complicated history and took time to build trust with me. Together we made a pain management plan. It took more than two years, included referrals to the surgical side and to physical therapy, with Dr. Nguyen always part of my team. Now I am mobile with a cane and walker, I can drive short distances, and my pain is managed. I never thought we'd get here, but he always believed we would. He is absolutely amazing.

Dr. Nguyen provided, and continues to provide, continuity of care, considering outside references, and quality of life. Over the years of collaborative treatment with Dr. Nguyen, his willingness to consider a wide range of non-surgical treatment options has kept me mobile and enjoying what I love to do, which is travel and precious time with family. He is open to discussing differences of opinions and desired outcomes.

After many months and years of pain, after my last visit with a beautiful injection he has relieved my pain.

The practice is run extremely well and the integrated care from physical therapy, to pain management, to surgery is very helpful for the patient.

Diagnosed the problem correctly. Surgery was not overly invasive and was very effective. Dr Schuler was friendly and easy to talk with.

Everyone in this practice is very kind and professional. I was very nervous and hesitant about undergoing a major surgery but Dr. Schuler and his staff provided me with much reassurance and an exemplary treatment. Totally recommend such a nice and brilliant doctor!!!

His ability to keep me as an active and engaged participant in the pre and post-op processes, in my opinion, contributed to my healing process. Dr Schuler and Tao did an awesome job diagnosing my spinal issue and correcting it. It was a complex issue that required continued treatments but the team hung in there with me and got me back on my feet again. VSI is a great facility and I will continue to trust them with my future care.
