Alex is the man! I have been trying to get my drivers license for almost 2 years and now I am happy to say that I am a license driver all thanks to this driving school. After moving from the Bronx to Yonkers, it's a joy to get around in a car without depending on someone else for a ride. Alex has a brand new car and is an expert at teaching people how to park properly. If you are having issues with anything then go to this driving school. Alex will help you out!!

Growing up in Yonkers, you need to learn how to drive. My mom doesn't drive unfortunately. Few of my friends have their license, but I did not want to learn there bad habits and fail my road test. I decided it's a good thing to have a professional instructor to teach me. I am relieved that I went with this school. I had a professional, courteous, and funny instructor (Alex) with his help it got me my license today. I drove a nice brand new car. All the people that work here are approachable and they really do their best to answer all your questions and make you feel comfortable. Very reasonable prices too, especially if you're getting a package. I'm a fan! I say go to Manhattans Driving School if you need to get your license from someone professional and knows what he is doing. Alex was the BEST!!

I just passed my road test today all thanks to this school. Instructor Alex was very patient and professional. He gives out a very calm vibe which is especially important for people like me who are extremely nervous to drive. It was actually pretty fun; Im mostly glad I didn t hit the curb while parallel parking on the road test. I look forward to take highway lessons next with Alex. I took my 5-hour class here which wasnt as bad as what it sounds like. I learned allot of things I had no clue about in driving. David the 5-hour class instructor was very informative and helped me understand how to become a better driver. Overall the experience to learn here was great! I am a happy to recommend Manhattan Driving School.

If you have any fear of driving or whatsoever and need a little refresher, this is the place to go! I was in the pursuit of looking for a new driving school because I took my test earlier this year at a different school and failed and I just wasn't taught properly. After tons of research and people I spoke to I choose Manhattans Driving School and I'm VERY HAPPY that I did. I was determined to get my license and would do whatever it took even if it meant taking more lessons. The instructor Alex was AWESOME! You don't have to worry about not understanding anything, Alex is very clear and breaks down everything to you. The staff there is great and very helpful. I PASSED my road test at this school. If you're considering them trust me it's WORTH IT! They even sent me a picture of me the day I passed my test. It was so sweet. A day I will never forget. This is an excellent driving school, not only is it affordable, but they help you get your license fast! In no time I took the drivers test for the first time and passed. This success is solely because of the school and my wonderful instructor Alex. :D



The management is great, Kevin the owner was very helpful. One thing I love about this school is that safety comes first. They are not just pushing you to get a license, but to learn how to drive safe in a car.



The 5 hour class here is very informative, while also being very entertaining. :)



This driving school was also the only one with an informative web site. All the other driving schools either had no web site or were little detailed.

A well operated establishment. This driving school is clean, flexible and personable. I have taken the 5-hour course here and the instructor really took an interest in the subject at hand. He asked the right questions to the class and was very interactive which made the class fly by. They also gave out informational packets to keep and study from and also offered a book to help you pass the road test. After a few weeks I had passed my road test with them and I think no one else could help me better. I think highly of this driving school and recommend it to all of my friends. Thank You so much! :)

ust thinking about learning how to drive was nerve wrecking for me, because I did not want to get into an accident. Before taking driving lessons here, I took the 5 hour class which gave the fundamentals of the rules of the road. I found the 5 hour class very informative compared to what my friends told me what the 5 hour class would be. Learning how to drive here was easy, and the driving teacher Alex explained everything in great detail before showing me anything. Parallel parking and 3 point turns was a breeze with Alex too!!! When it came time for booking lessons, the receptionist made it easy to book future lessons with my teacher. You work with them, they work with you. Just how I like it. :) When it was time to book the road test, I only had to wait 2 weeks for my appointment. I took the road test with Alex and passed with flying colors! Yesss I was soooo happy I could finally drive on own in Yonkers. Thank you guys! Your are the best! ;)

I passed my road test today and it was all thanks to Alex! My brother had lessons with Alex a year ago and passed his road test on the first try. After failing my first road test with my brother I decided to make a smart decision by taking lesson with Alex. I won t be the first nor last to tell you Alex is excellent driving teacher. Thanks to him I gained a lot more confidence on road and was able to pass today. Thank you Alex :))

When I first started driving I was a nervous driver who didn t have a proper technique on driving. I attempted to have my mother teach me but that didn t go over so well. It was more along the lines of OMG! You are going to give me a second heart attack!! I figured I needed some professional help but didn t know where to turn. My son s grandmother highly recommended Kevin and his school so I said why not.



With Kevin s help, I was able to feel more comfortable behind the wheel. One of the best things about this school is their pricing and availability. Kevin is always available for lessons at pretty much all hours of the day/night. His car is small sedan that allows you to overcome any apprehension about driving. He picks you up wherever you live or work at the time you are available. You don t have to go crazy trying to meet up with him. He is extremely patient, professional and knowledgeable about the rules of the road test. He is very good at telling you how to correct your mistakes without making you feel like a complete idiot. One of the best things he teaches is how to get over the dreaded parallel parking. He gives you a three step no fail system which has literally worked for me regardless of the type of vehicle I was driving. He is very experienced and conducts lessons in Florida and New York. He is also available for your 5 hour class, road test and beyond. For your road test, he schedules it (when you re available) and picks you up for a refresher lesson prior to your appointment.



I have learned how to drive on small residential streets, on congested highways and at night during various weather conditions. There are many schools who just take your money but you never truly learn the rules of the road or how to properly handle certain situations. With Kevin, it doesn t feel like he is doing this for the money or that you are just a number. The great thing is he starts you off at YOUR level of driving and you progress from there. I am extremely proud to say that I am a more educated and experienced driver because of him.

I want to thank Manhattan driving school and Alex for putting up with me and my terrible driving skills. On my first lesson I hit the curb and I was so scared to drive, but Alex made me feel very comfortable and by the 2nd lesson I wasn t really scared anymore. I know he had to be scared but he sure didn t show it. I had 10 lessons and he came right to my house and picked me up and dropped me off. The price was very reasonable. I was like a crazy lady with questions always buggin the girls who answer the phone in the office and they all were very nice to me and very helpful and answered all my questions. And I passed my road test the first time. I will recommend Manhattan to everyone I know who needs driving lessons or to take a road test. They are the BEST!

This driving school is great, especially Alex... he's very patient. The first time I went for the road test I failed with another school, but with Alex it was a breeze the second time around...I was a pro at parallel parking! Yesss I got my license finally !!!! =D

I took my driving class from Alex. He is an excellent teacher! He is punctual, very sincere. I cleared the road test on my first attempt (just took it today, yay!!)



I initially took one class from American driving school and did not like the way the driver got impatient and he wasn't patient enough to explain things clearly.



After taking the class with Alex I felt the difference and gained confidence. He taught parallel parking in very easy 3 step process. I took 5 lessons and then cleared the road test.



I would definitely recommend Alex for anyone who is serious about getting there drivers license.

I am so happy that I passed my drivers test!! This was an amazing experience and I really have to credit Alex for being very patient and caring with me. He did an amazing job teaching me and was very determined. I tried a couple different driving schools, however they were not as great as this one. The classes that Alex gave me were always convenient for my schedule, and he always encouraged me and built up my confidence about driving. He taught me how to drive carefully and well. I want to give a huge thank you to Alex for being so patient and for being a great teacher!

I couldn't have found a better driving school thanks to Google! As suggested, I asked for Mr. Alex as my teacher and he went beyond my expectations! He's extremely funny and very nice. He's a great teacher. Even though I was scared to get behind the wheel for the first time, Alex helped ease my fears and got me driving on the road. I took my road test yesterday and passed! I was soo happy mainly because my permit expires next month and that would have meant I would have to take it all over again. Woo! Now taking highway driving lessons with Alex, he's an awesome teacher! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Hello my name is Inagela, i'm 17 years of age and and an inexperienced driver at best. When i began to seek my licence in October i was a little skeptical about picking a driving school and i worried about how i will be able to pass my road test after hearing. some gruesome stories about failure it was easy for me to become discouraged. At last after some research i found Manhattan Driving School had the highest customer satisfaction so i called and went to take my five hour class. My instructor was funny and down to earth always in teacher mode with out being bitter and disciplinary. I took a total of 10 classes and each one i went on i drove to different places ,never the same route. He let me know what i did well and what i needed to work on. On the day of my 10th class i took my road test and passed first time. I was very pleased with the services i paid for . I refereed my family and friends to this school and if you want to get your license you go here. They will help you get you license really fast!

I took driving lessons here and passed my road test last week with these people.Their instructors are very patient and knowledgeable in their field. I got more confident after each lesson. The classroom teacher David was a very good instructor . He is very professional and his class is conducive to learning. Also, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend manhattans driving school.

I was really impressed by manhattan driving school. The receptionist answered all of my questions over the phone, and at $40 they had the best deal I could find on the 5 hour class and driving lessons. I took a class taught by David, and thought he was excellent. I'm considering also doing their package road test deal, which seems reasonably priced as well (especially since I'll need a car).

You learn so much here and they use new cars for the driving lessons =)))

Great place to learn how to drive! I was able to take my road test in less than a week and passed on first try. The driving instructors had new cars and were always on time. Which was good because the last school I went to had very old beat up cars from the 90's. I wouldn't go anywhere else! They have great tips for parking and they pick you up. This driving school gets all 5 stars from me! :)

Manhattan Driving School is by far the best school for first time drivers and those who need additional lessons, or need to learn nys driving procedures. I had the pleasure of learning from Alex himself. He is a pain in the bottom but he pushes you to succeed! He is far and consistent with his instructions and is very honest about areas that need improvement. He has taught 3 people in my family and I will continue to use his service for others in my circle of friends and family. Practice makes perfect! The more you do and the better you become. The road test is a piece of cake as long as you get you practice in. If Alex feels your not ready he isn't going to set you up to fail! The goal for everyone who enters his school is to pass on the first try! Put your ego aside when entering this school because there is always room to improve and more to learn from your instructors! Thank you Alex! And thanks for pushing me harder each lessons while cracking jokes on my driving tempo! Watch out world Mrs. LOV had a nys approved drivers license. :)
