Terrible Service. The Tech ripped me off. Stated I needed "special order parts" 2-3 weeks to get a Refrigerator fan motor. [this was not the problem at all]. When in fact I did not. he made it worse so that I would have to call them back. Demanded my refund. Owner never returned calls. Floor Manager never retuned calls. Another company fix the problem and was told the first Tech did not know what he was doing. DO NOT USE this company.

Great Service. We needed our dishwasher repaired after about four months of putting it off. United Appliance Repairs LLC technician came and saw what the problem was and ordered the part. They were able to order the part and replace it t quickly. Service was friendly, professional and down to earth. I totally recommend them. And will use them again we need help with another appliance.

Waited since November 2013 to write this review so I could calm down.

In my rental property the Fridgedaire gas range oven would not light. The burners worked fine. They came out promptly as promised to service the unit. The oven igniter was defective. They quoted $325 to repair. I mentioned the $55 online coupon I had and he said the price included that. How he knew before giving me the quote that I had the coupon is beyond me. When I asked for the parts vs. labor cost he said we don't do that. I asked how much was the part he said 'well over one hundred dollars'. Again refusing to specify the cost of the parts & labor separately. The range cost origionally about $350. I purchased the igniter locally for $42 and installed in in less than 15 minutes. What made the part purchase more difficult is that the sticker indicating the model number of the range mysteriously disappeared off the range after the tech left. So I have paid a $65 service call and $42 for a part I installed in less than 15 minutes for a $325 estimated repair cost from these rip off artists. Go figure.

The technician from United Appliance Repairs LLC helped fix my stove burners. He was friendly and to the point and got the job done and provided tips that would save me money.

Having your washer repaired sure beats buying a new one. United Appliance Repairs LLC technician came out and fixed our washer in just 30 minutes, had the parts needed and knew exactly the problem. These guys know there appliance repair.

Really great service. On time, friendly and through service. Informs of the process every step during review of the problem, possible corrective action based on how critical the problem. If the problem turns out to be not obvious or simple. This is top of the service ranking.

We called United Appliance Repairs LLC around 4pm on a Saturday to report a broken fridge and by 6pm that same day it was up and running. Can't ask for more.

United Appliance Repairs LLC technician was courteous, professional, and straightforward. He gave me good recommendations on how to go about unclogging the vent and preventing the problem in the future.

Seriously great service. United Appliance Repairs LLC technician was very prompt in responding to my email, showed up on time, and was very quick with the job. Turned out to not be as bad a repair as we had hoped, but he diagnosed it and stuck around to make sure it was fully fixed. Very friendly guy, knows his stuff, highly recommended.

The absolute best, knowledgeable in his crafts and easy to deal with.

I had a broken maytag dryer it was making a loud noise and not drying well they came on time tech was sharp and fixed with no time the price was fair .you pay for what you get !! Great service overall

A few weeks ago, I came home to a warm refrigerator and completely defrosted freezer. Did a search on internet, picked United Appliance Repairs LLC based on all the positive reviews and called the next morning. The technician called me back within 10 minutes and scheduled service for that afternoon. He was efficient, knowledgeable and affordable! Would definitely use again!

This is the second time we have used the United Appliance Repairs LLC and we had another stellar experience. Our washing machine wasn't draining properly and was getting stuck in the rinse cycle. The technician came out the day after I called and was able to diagnose and fix the problem in less than an hour. He was personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and told me how to troubleshoot in the future if this happens again. I cannot recommend these guys enough- they are truly total professionals. I also discovered that United Appliance Repairs LLC technician does oven repair work, so he will be coming out in a few days to figure out why our oven won't heat up. I love United Appliance Repairs LLC!

I'm a cheapskate when it comes to repairing anything in my house so when my washer broke again, I was determined to fix it myself. BAD IDEA. I eventually broke down and called United Appliance Repairs LLC. Professional, quick and reasonable, he was done in less than 30 minutes and got my washer up and running like new.

Deceptive practice in terms of billing. First, they claim that there's no service charge, only repair charge, but there's no hourly rate for repair charge. They just decide what something costs to fix but will not tell you up front what that will be. So, someone came (late) to look at our dryer, tightened a belt and charged us 185.00 for less than 20 minutes of labor--no parts. Beware, there is NO way to estimate how much your repair will cost.



I'm suspicious that no one has noted this in the reviews below.

United appliance is the best company i came across in VA. I called them at 8 in the morning and got a knowledgeable person named Victor on the phone he told me some tips but i knew i can't do it myself. He made an appointment and tech was there on my door in the given window. Technician was polite and extremely professional got the job done on my refrigerator in 45min.

Our microwave just stopped working. Called United Appliance Repairs LLC and they set me up an appointment for the next day. Very punctual and professional. It took 10 minutes to fix (replaced a fuse that failed under regular wear and tear). I strongly recommend this guys.

The office staff coordinates, communicates and actually tells the repair staff what to do. They are too fast; Sundays, holidays, you name it you'll hear from them. And it doesn't hurt that the kitchen appliance repair man is also a great cook and taught me many things unrelated to appliance repair issues. I'm not any easy customer but these folks are A+.

STAY AWAY! My fiance had welcomed the technician into our home to fix our broken ice maker. I should have been tipped off when I came home, said hi to the technician and was barely given a glance. I blew it off thinking that he was just focused on what he was doing. He showed my fiance the broken ice maker and told him that it was broken and that we would need a new one. My fiance could clearly see that there was a broken piece on the ice maker. We agreed to the HIGH price of $350 and we let the technician know that we had a 15% off coupon.



He put on the new ice maker and when the time came to pay, he was refusing to give us the 15% off. We had to keep pushing him and demanding the 15% because we had told him about it before he had started working on putting in the new ice maker. He agreed to $50, but not the $53. (I also let this pass.)



On his way out I asked him to show me where the old ice maker was broken, like he had showed my fiance. He could not show me. All he kept telling me was that a piece was broken, but the piece looked perfectly in tact to me. I could see a little broken piece on the bottom of the ice maker but when I took it out I could not find out where it broke off from and the technician could not tell me either. Once he left, I opened the freezer door and saw that he had put the broken piece onto the new ice maker.



We called customer service and they were adamant that he did his job right and that nothing is wrong with the ice maker. We e-mailed them pictures of the new perfectly intact piece and the broken piece with the part that had broken off and their response was, "What do you want? Your ice maker is going to make ice!" They would not send the technician back out to us until we threatened to call the Bank and cancel their payment.



A few hours later the technician comes back only to tell us that the piece that belonged to the new ice maker would not fit onto it. He then told us that he must have broken the piece to the new ice maker, but he doesn't know how. He also told us, "It'll be fine, your ice maker will work." I told him that I just paid him $320 bucks (including taxes) and that I was not going to accept a broken piece on the brand new ice maker. He refused to give us a new piece, and told us that he was going to take his new ice maker and leave. He wouldn't even put the broken ice maker back on until we told him to. And after that he told us that he wouldn't be charging us, but he would NOT give us a voided receipt. I had to call the bank to tell them what happened so that I don't get charged $320 for nothing.



Please, take my advice. STAY AWAY.
