I needed to send a photo for the back of my book to my publisher by the end of the week. After calling around, I found that Heritage was one of the least expensive and was able to get the work done quickly. I had my portraits taken the same day as I called and had them in my e-mail the next. Dan was fun to work with and made me feel totally at ease, which for an introverted writer isn't always easy! I'll definitely refer my friends and family to Dan in the future.

Dan was pleasant to work with. He was able to book me into his studio on short notice and take a headshot for publication use in less than a half hour. I had the image via email several hours later. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a professional photographer.

There aren't words enough to describe the knowledge and skills Dan possesses on his subject , besides being a good human being yet being humble about it. He connected almost instantly and asked simple yet effective questions to bring out the emotions which I would've liked to portray in the pictures.I also had a rush on these and Dan worked with me to provide the pictures by the deadline I needed them at. My fiance and I were in need of getting an engagement picture taken and we were pressed for time. I spent a long time on the internet and calling around to get prices, as I did not want to go to Walmart for these pictures. Heritage was one of the cheapest sitting fees I got and we are glad we decided to go with him. Dan was more then helpful and very friendly. We also decided to take family, which turned out wonderful. I recently had a professional photograph taken at Heritage Portrait. I was referred by a friend. Like most people, I dislike having my picture taken. I truly appreciated that Dan took the time to “get to know me” and what I was hoping to accomplish with this photo. He even listened to me whine about my hair :). The end product was as good I as I could have hoped (I’ve gotten great feedback from friends and co-workers). I plan to return with my family during the holidays and would definitely recommend Dan for your photography needs.

I went to Heritage Portrait Studio for the first time for a face shot for my work website. I don't normally enjoy having my photo taken, but this was a very pleasant and efficient experience. Within a couple minutes I was shown all of the photos taken and allowed to choose my favorite. The lighting and backdrop were perfect and you can actually see the color of my eyes (unlike other face shots on our work website)! I'm planning on returning for a pet portrait next.

I was searching for a photographer to do a portrait photo for online media and I was impressed by his website. I called Dan and set up an appointment for the next day. He advised me to bring more than one set of clothes (light and dark). When I arrived Dan was friendly and professional. While taking the photos his experience showed in selecting the right background and getting me to smile and pose appropriately. He also did a passport photo. Afterwards Dan helped me select the best photo through a very easy process of comparing pairs of photos side by side on his computer.

I looked at four different photographers before choosing Heritage to do my outdoor family portrait. Dan at heritage is not only a brilliant photographer, but he was very patient in answering all my questions and dealt with our quirky group in a very professional way. The results were fantastic. We have been customers of Heritage for years. We first went to Heritage for my son's senior portraits, even though we had to have his yearbook done somewhere else we were delighted by the personal service, quality and prices.###Last week was my folks 45th wedding and we had Heritage do a 18 member group. We also had different grouping. ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!.###This guy knows his job, we were all delighted with the results, even our dog loves him###( yes Heritage allows dogs too). My mother just cried with joy - what a memory

Dan is an exceptional portrait photographer with many years of experience. He makes a point of spending time with you before and at the time of the shoot so that you know what to expect, come prepared with the correct wardrobe etc. and so that each member of your family is comfortable beforehand. We have always had excellent results and will not go to anyone else. He is OUR photographer.
