Worst experience . This shop should be called - the Heritage Portrait Nazi. From the moment I stepped in, I was asked "Where are you from?" . The moment I dodge his question and said let us just stick to business , he said: "I could through you out, you know, and not make your Canadian passport pictures". Said nothing as he is the only one that does these passport pictures in the area. Paid him $30 cash for 2 photos and asked for a receipt. He refused to provide a receipt and called me "Asshole" literally. He also said "do not ever come back here". Can you believe it? it is all factual. I will report him to the IRS.

I saw Daniel to have 2 different professional shots taken. Overall, the session was alright. We took roughly 5-6 shots for each picture, and you pick the one you like.



After receiving the 2 photos a few days later, I was pleased with the results.



If you need something informal/inexpensive, Daniel provides a good service at a low price.

I could not be more pleased with my daughter's senior pictures. I chose Heritage studios hoping for high quality pictures that would be more personalized, rather than generic yearbook-type photos. Everything he did, just worked. The poses are all beautiful. The settings and colors he suggested are perfect. He knows what he is doing. Trust him. I will forever treasure my pictures.

Dan at Heritage Portrait Studio took family photos for us. We were very satisfied with his professionalism at the shoot and the finished product is of the highest quality and we will treasure the pictures for years. He worked incredibly well with the children. Dan has an easy manner when he organized the group, chatting it up and working quickly. We were all smiles.

I have enjoyed my experience with Heritage Portraits and liked the product. I found the appointment unhurried and I appreciated being able to fully explain what I wanted in the pictures I had made, how I would use them and the impression I wanted made. All my requests were taken into account and the outcome was just what I wanted.

To celebrate the 90th birthday of my Father I had decided on a family portrait. Since my Father lives in Phoenix, I am in SC and a brother in Utah this was strategically very difficult. I had found the website for Heritage and called as I was impressed with what I saw. Every thing was handled long distance and very professionally. With all of us coming together for only one evening and the Utah resident arriving early in the evening the photographer worked with me diligently to make this happen, including last minute change of venue. I was also able to see the proofs before going back to So. Carolina. The photographs were awesome including some spontaneous ones taken that ended up being among the favorites. This was a Perfect experience !!!

I called for an appointment to have a passport photo taken. Thereafter I received two mistaken calls back from Dan, which were rather disconcerting. The following day I showed up at 0930 on the nose for my appointment and no one was present at his house. There was no answer or response to repeated door bell rings, other than barking from a disturbed dog. A telephone call to his business number rolled over to his recording. I left a message requesting an explanation. It was an unfortuante experience to set time aside and make a special appointment to meet this guy for a business transaction. I am now forced to seek out another photographer for a simple passport photo.

I needed a business photograph quickly, and Heritage accommodated my need for a good photo, in a timely manner. Dan took the time needed, but it was not "drawn out". I was pleased with the way the photos turned out, and I received the finished product the same day. Very pleased with the process and the finished product.

I took an old, damaged, but important photograph to be restored. The result is beautiful. I found Dan to be not only very professional and knowledgeable but also very talented and I enjoyed working with him.

Due to a move in the middle of my daughter's senior year we were way behind the power curve with graduation activities! I was looking for someone to do a quality portrait for her graduation announcements. Dan was able to put my mind at ease with regard to timing and was very accommodating when I asked if we could bring our little dog along to be in the pictures with her. In fact little Oliver made a new friend in Dan's dog Casey! The experience was a good one, the portraits were fantastic and I would highly recommend Heritage Portraits!

Dan Hefner's portrait image of me met my highest hopes.. I was looking for a quality professional portrait that would be placed on the back cover of the revised edition, You Can Teach Someone to Read. The portrait needed to convey my professional credibility to the reader and that I believed teaching someone to read can be fun, satisfying and rewarding. Through conversation in his relaxed studio atmosphere, Dan Hefner first observed and listened to me in order to understand my goals. The sitting was relaxed and pleasurable. Dan Hefner at Heritage Portraait Studios has earned my highest praises. I recommend him to others who are seeking a profesional, quality portrait.

After my mother's passing, I found a very old black and white picture of my Mom's favorite uncle which I immediately fell in love with and then I found out that my Mom had willed it to my sister so I needed to have a copy for myself. This picture is very special. It even spent time in the Smithsonian in the early 70's so you can see it had a lot of value to the family. When I met with Dan, he was very forthright and honest to set expectations as to what could be done with a very very old photograph. If you have an old photograph it may be worth your time to see what he can do for you. I was very pleased with the results.

Dan does a great job. Very professional, a great artiest and I got my photos the same day by email. While I used Dan for a bio business photo, I will definitely use him again for family photos as well.
