dishonest

they tried to get me to pay medical debt I had already paid. Were very evasive about what and whom I owed, they knew I didn't owe it. Do not pay until you have the bills in your hand they just try scare tactics to get you to pay.

Collection Practices

These are without a doubt one of the worst collection agencies in the USA. When will people know what slime collection agencies are? People do not owe collection agencies. That means that bill is a write off and you do not owe that collection company. If you pay them anything then you are wasting your money and putting it into the pocket of that guy who owns the company who is getting rich off the misfortunes of others. They call themselves several names but they are in the business of destroying you any way that they can. This company is the worst of the worst. They cannot by law file medical bills into the three credit bureaus.. Contact all three credit bureaus and tell them these are medical bills and should not be on your record. I am trying to take these people down and will get the job done but people have to stand up and fight against these people because collections agencies are the scum of the earth. I have always said that in order to work in one of these places you either have to come from an abusive family or you are an abuser yourselves and I still stick by what I say. No normal person would abuse people every day and enjoy their job without being abusers.

paing my debts

I had a few accounts list with PAB this year. I called them and they worked out a payment agreement that I could afford. The lady I talked to was very nice and understanding of my citation. I know I owe the money and just haven't been able to pay.

worst type of business ever!

Making money off the poor, who if they could have paid, would have but now owe more thanks to their hand in the cookie jar, whoever can consciously work for a place like that and still look at themselves in the mirror, they need to shut this place down. i only gave one star because i had to. Also, rude, and lies to you about the things they can and cannot do.

Facts don't matter - only a clueless Judge who asks Segatto - "She owes it, right ? "

They are the DEVIL themselves ... with Randy Segatto wearing the red cape. Apparently their word to the Sangamon Co. Judges is as good as gold. Facts do not matter, only absorbent fees tacted on to unjust court victories to line the pockets of these shady bastards. Employees there sell their souls and resign to going to hell at their hire date. Total trash and I only feel sorry for them. For those who do skip out on bills/debt you deserve them. But they treat everyone as pieces of shit and Segatto is the worse. We are paying a dead beat dad's bill that should have never been our debt. Everyone working for them in any capacity is a whore for the devil.

Shameful Experience

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I actually paid my account in full and since it was so close to the deadline for my wage garnishment to start 2 payments still got sent to them. I have been trying to get my money refunded for weeks now and filed a complaint with the BBB hoping they can help. This is completely insane they way they treat people.

Shameful practices

This organization uses takes advantage of those that are uneducated about their rights under the The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Their lack of professionalism and inability to effectively communicate is a hindrance to those seeking payment arrangements or further information about the debt in question. There are other collection agencies in the area with integrity and respect for consumer rights. (Pro Com is a great example of professionalism and a model they should study)
PAB will never fall into that category as long as they continue to practice business this way and should drop the "Professional" from the "Adjustment Bureau" of their title as they do not exemplify professionalism in any aspect of their business. They are equivalent to the predatory lenders - skirting on the edge of the law to intimidate, harass and manipulate to get their money. Their shameful practices harm the consumer and the client. I regret a "one star" rating is necessary to post as shameful practices do not deserve any recognition. Use caution when dealing with them, and do not agree to anything until you have armed yourself with adequate research on your rights.

Unprofessional

If I could give a minus star I would. Worlds worst customer service. Worst than Comcast. That's bad. I like how I get 1 phone call and wage garnishment. Great. Go fight with Child Support for all of my money.

IDIOTS!!

These are the dumbest and rudest people I have EVER talked to. I agreed to a payment arrangement and they still filed a garnishment. I had paid, as agreed, EVERY month. DO NOT TRUST A PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT!! Pay your creditor directly so they receive zero commission!!!

Rude Rude Rude

I got served with a Summons on bills the had never once contacted me on. I was never given a chance to pay the bills off before getting stuck with hundreds of additional dollars in court cost. In addition, the bills I am being asked to pay are my ex-husbands. When I explained this and asked them if they are also pursuing him they advised no becasue he doesn't have a job and I do.They were extremely rude and inconsiderate.

Service unacceptable

They called me regarding several medical bills I missed a bill in March this is September, they were rude, the I complained to the manager MARY JANE she was rude, No customer skills whatsoever, I was even telling the collector that I was on my way to make a payment which was not good enough, they tried to tell me what I needed to do with my job, the my finances were their business, I told the manager to go back to the recorded call which they say are recorded but I bet not, just the message on the IVR, CANT WAIT TO GET THESE PEOPLE OUT OF MY HAIR, will never ever recommend this company for anyone needing to collect a debt, I am going to find a way to pay the people I owe directly so they don't get a commison

Not professional at all

So I am on the opposite spectrum myself. I fell behind on a gas bill and was reported to this ragtag outfit. Anyway, after weeks of calling me at my place of work I went ahead and started a monthly payment. However the woman I dealt with was rude and very unprofessional. My main problem was the calling at work and before 8 a.m. which is against the Fair debt collection act of 1977. Look it up and maybe, just maybe you'll do your job correctly!

On the Other end

I am on the other end of this situation, I am actually in collections for a past due gas bill. And the phone number they have you call is automated, and hard to understand, finally i got a Voicemail, and i left a message, asking them to call me back between 1pm and 5pm.YES they called me back~~~ at 7am the next morning, and i specifically asked them to not call until 1pm or after. the lady that called me was rude enough for me to not want to work with them at all. Sorry for the poor review, but its been a whole month i have had to think about what to say. . and i finally found a way to word this....YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!
