Business has gone downhill...

Wish i could give ZERO stars! We started with Tiger 5 yrs ago as the first in our neighborhood. They were great to start with but that changed a yr ago. Many times I had to call because their truck wouldn't even come up our street on trash day. Our entire street would get skipped. Then on holidays they are supposed to pick up on a different day but that stopped a yr ago too. It took a month to get the large recycling can from them. Then this month I call to pay my bill for the next quarter (which they mailed me) but was told that they are no longer servicing the area as of next week! They never sent a letter to notify us. CS rep said that a letter should have gone out as well as flyers on the cans. None of that has happened. No letter, no flyer. None of our neighbors received anything either! Terrible!

DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT HIRE!!! This company to haul off you're trash!!! You will not get you're trash picked up like scheduled & office staff will tell you what ever they feel like making up when you do get someone on the phone, mangers take over 2 hour lunch breaks or they aren't there at all (Someone Please Tell Me How The Hell You Run A Company Like That?1??) You will wait forever to get a refund on you're account that is paid up for months ( doubting I will get my money back) This means They are in "Theft of Contract" If you are like me & work darn HARD for every dollar on your pay check & don't like throwing money out the window PLEASE think long & hard about this garbage of a company!!!!

If you value getting the service you paid for, good customer service, accurate and timely billing and a customer oriented business model. LOOK ELSEWHERE! Do not do business with these people. They do not send bills and when their failure to provide accurate billing creates misunderstandings they will leave the trash sitting in the barrel holding your homes sanitation for ransom. Furthermore they choose if and when they feel like doing their job and providing the service you pay for. More than a few times I have had to find alternatives to dispose of cardboard boxes, bulky items and assorted other items because without arguing with a supervisor the day before trash day the trash crew will leave it sitting on your curb. If I could leave this company 0 stars I would. I sincerely hope that the litany of 1 star reviews including this one will ward away any wary home owners so they won't have to go through the misery I have had to deal with over the last two years.

I am sorry to have to add to the negative reviews, but they just are not a good company. They break their own cans and take weeks to replace them. Now, they just miss serving and I was told that I would have to wait until Saturday to get my trash picked up! 6 more weeks and then I'm switching to Waste Management.

This is the worst company i have ever had to dealt with! Been a month since they charged me and still no bins. I was told it was going to take 15 days and that I can just leave my trash out and they'll still pick it up. So on trash day, I left it out, they came, they left and my trash was left untouched. After having this happened several times, I decided to stop taking the trash out and just wait for the bins. Well that was a big mistake because when I asked for a refund since they picked up my trash 0 times, I was told that because it was not documented that they didn't pick it ( I called them and told them but they failed to document it. Who pays for their mistakes? Me) i couldn't get a refund and I couldn't get refund for days that I chose not to put out the trash. I told them I didn't wanna drag my trash back and forth every time knowing they won't pick it up. They said that's on me. I'm still not getting my refund. So they said the bins gonna come early next week. So yea...still nothing. I called n asked them to explain why it takes so long for the bins and they said because we service a wide area, it takes time and that ur area is schedule for the end of this week. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU SAY ITS GOING TO TAKE 15 days then?This is unbelievable. Oh how are they going to advertise about providing carts and feel the needs to NOT PROVIDE IT. when asked about it, they had the attitude of well we're giving it for free so we don't have to give it to u if we don't want to.

Would love to give a zero!!! Horrible costumer service. They skip garbage pick up days in a whole neighborhood with no notice of why. They never answer the phone or emails. I can't even cancel my service because I can't speak to anyone. Never use them!!!!!!

Gee, were the positive reviews self-written? I notice those very positive reviews are answered much more frequently than the negative ones.

I too, would have given Tiger 4 stars, however in the last month they've completely missed the week I was gone, and missed every other day in the last 4 weeks, requiring us to call (an arduous process of wasting 30+ minutes) and make sure it got picked up. So my wife got to spend quality vacation time with a business that suddenly can't figure out how to do the job they took my $$$ to do.

So they skipped that week completely, but "all is good", they gave us a "credit"!

what good is a credit? I need my trash picked up!

I don't know what their problem is, but if I don't get a response today, 07/10/2014, I'll have no other option than to seek services elsewhere, and take legal action to recoup my money, if necessary.

Too bad Tiger, you're making ex-customers at an alarming rate, it seems.

They are beyond awful... Garbage service that is garbage. I canceled my service after repeated missed services for the entire subdivision. I canceled and was told they had 30 days to pick up the trash cans. It has been 40+ and still not picked up. They have customer service that lies - every time a missed day happened every person that called got a different story. I was promised a call back today in person by Chuck with them and he never called me back and their system just is going to voicemail. NEVER use them - NEVER> Even if they are cheaper they are not worth the trouble and issues.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!



They have picked up my trash 1 time in 6 weeks. I have talked to someone EVERY week, but nothing changes. Choose Waste Management instead. I had them for 2 years and they never missed a single pickup.

WOW! Horrible policies! I just recently moved, and did no cancel until after we were out in case we had additional trash that would need picked up. Well my bills get paid through my bank, and since they bill by the quarter, this quarter got paid on the first. I just got off the phone, and they only picked up once from my home in April and refuse to refund for the other 2 months. I told them I didn't expect to get back for April since I did wait until now to cancel, but did for the 2 months that we aren't even there. They have a no refund policy I was told. And that was after waiting on the phone for ever to even talk to someone. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM!!

Horrible customer service! Had Waste Management and I switched to Tiger since rates were lower, BIG MISTAKE! Management admits they have been experiencing ongoing issues with customers not able to get through by phone, yet problem has been going on for over 3 months. They cant even get their website to post payments correctly and when you email them to ask questions about service (since you cant get through by phone) they take weeks to respond. As of yesterday, I cancled my service and will glady pay more to Waste Management since they atleast have working phones. Stay away, you will regret giving them your business. They are crooks and care nothing about customer service.

I usually don't write reviews of places, but Tiger Sanitation has really frustrated me. We just moved to our new home and paid in advance for scheduled service for 7/1/13 .



The first day they skipped right over our trash bins. I called and left a message since it appears no one picks up the phone. Someone did come by later and pick it up, though I never received a call back.



Now today 7/8/13 They took up my trash bin and recycle bin. I called and after many attempts I was able to get ahold of someone. The lady informed me she didn't know why the bins were picked up but said they will drop them back off in a not so enthusiastic manner.

I seriously doubt I will see those bins before next trash day. Being new to San Antonio I wasn’t aware I had other options but if my trash bin and trash isn’t picked up by next week, I’m calling my credit card and disputing the charge.

I have had Tiger service for about 10 years altogether and up until recently have been very happy. I went to them to get away from another service that was poor service. Now it seems that when I call customer service at Tiger with a problem they just flat don't care and they are rude and don't want to take responsibility and correct their poor service. I always bag my trash and some some reason still find trash around in the street or on my property. My can is thrown or sat in middle of the street in the way of traffic. I hate the I don't care its not our problem rude attitude of everyone I talk to at Tiger. My bill is due in May and I am looking at other services...people who care and aren't rude and where my business is valued and I am too...used to be a great trash service, but now I guess they are just to big for their britches.

Horrible! They keep "forgetting " to pick up your trash, send you bills or simply will not pick up trash laying next to the bin! They throw and mix trash cans! And the customer service is super rude and not helpful at all!!! So disappointed !!!!!

I'm often dissatisfied with Tiger. Yes, they are the lower priced of the two options we have, but they only come once per week, and they seem to just arbitrarily decide to not pickup trash or recyclables from time to time. This causes a tremendous inconvenience to the customers who then have to deal with two or three weeks of accumulated trash. Not good when you live in an area with critters roaming about scourging for food.



Aditionally, their customer service department rarely answers incoming phone calls during business hours, and offers no after hours support. If you're fortunate enough to get through during the business day, they don't seem interested in correcting the mistake, they simply document the incident and then appear to ignore it.



I've tried to be completely fair in my review. This is clearly a situation where you get what you pay for.

Worst service EVER!!! Out of ...

Worst service EVER!!! Out of 9 weeks of service they have failed to pick up our trash on 5 of our regular pick up days. First excuse was it was a new driver, now I am told that the truck broke down, etc. Supervisor refuses to call me. I am always forced to wait for a pickup two days later. No refund. Now I have to start calling every Tuesday if my trash is not picked up by 4:00pm to "remind" the driver to come by. Ridiculous! I will be changing service next quarter.
