They are a complete and total rip off. They charged 3x what any other company I called charged. We had a leak in our A coil and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with out charging us for a ton of other work, coming to our home multiple times, causing other issues and recommending thousands of more dollars on a three year old AC. I called 8 different companies the next morning and they all offered a price that was a third of John Wayne's price and confirmed the work they had done violated building codes. Needless to say, we hired another company and their estimate was exactly what we paid without any issues after the fact. They even fixed the new issues for free! NEVER EVER EVER use John Wayne!

My new A/C Unit

The technicians were highly skilled, courteous made sure to lay out plenty of canvas to protect our floors. They went the extra mile to make sure all of my questions were answered. But it didn't stop there. The techs said if there was any problem with the A/C Unit just call and they would be call to schedule a time at my convenience. When I had trouble replacing the filter, they came out to show me how to replace the filter properly at no charge and show an extreme amount of patience. I definitely choose the right company for the job.

I Called Jon Wayne Out to my house this weekend when my system went out. My system is pretty old so I was expecting to hear I needed to replace it, But to my surprise only a minor repair was needed. The technician quickly found my problem and got my system back online shortly. I was very impressed with the professionalsim and the honesty of the technician. The girl who took my appointment was very nice and helpful. I will use this company in the Future.

Good Guys

I had another company come out first and quoted me $4000 for a blown compressor. Jon Wayne tech came out and found it was mis-diagnosed. They gave me all of my options and I replaced it anyway due to the age and condition. I really appreciated their honesty and proffesionalism.

Technician came and determined that my coils were totally clogged and the system needed to be replaced, I agreed with this as the unit is 24 years old. He signed me up for the Rescue Club (service contract) and set up an appointment for their Comfort Engineer. Comfort Engineer came out, looked at what I had, wrote up a quote on a yellow legal pad. I thought the quote was on the high side and told him that I would get another quote. I called him back on Wednesday to ask a few questions about the unit and I mentioned that I had the coupons from the web site. He told me I could not use the coupon as the unit was already a discount overstocked item. I told him I would have the money on Friday and asked if he could come down on the price a little. He stated he would have to check and he would call me back.............It has been 7 days and no call back yet. I have sent them a certified letter canceling my service contract.....................I will not ever call these folks again!

Best Deal

I went with JW because they had the best price out of the three companies I called. They did a great job on my install and Jonny my salemen (Jon Wayne's son) really know his stuff. He even came back to check on the install after words and to make sure I was happy. They are a good company.

My Home was new bought in 2006 my A/C unit was running great just needed it serviced for summer I had John Wayne A/C come and service my A/C unit and they started the service, we presented them with a coupon from their site which they would not take. My wife said the tech informed her that it was very low on coolant and it had a leak, and pressed her to call me ta hav it fixed. I told her it was running great what happened. the tech said the leak was outside the house.My wife called the manager many times and they have not returned the calls. the rating is poor.

New system rocks

Got a new system installed today. I went with Jon Wayne because they had the best reputation and most professional Representatives. The install team was great. Worked efficiently all day and respected my home and cleaned up. I'm so happy I went with these guys and I am glad i went with the better system it is so quite I can't even tell it's on. I love it

Honest and Fast

I had one of those home warranties. We had a problem with our Furnace and the home warranty company sent out their contractor to tell me I needed to replace my furnace and the warranty co. would not cover it due to lack of maintenance. I called Jon Wayne for a second opinion.at the recommendation from my co-worker who has used them for years. They sent out a service tech the same day and not only is he clean and neat and proffesional but he gets my furnace fixed for a very reasonalble rate. It turns out a loose wire caused my problem not a faulty circuit board like the other company told me. John Wayne is my new a/c co. Its good to know there is someone out there you can trust.

WE WERE WORRIED!

IT WAS FRIDAY AFTERNOON. WE HAVE A FAMILY COMING IN FROM OUT OF TOWN. AC GOES OUT AND ITS VERY HOT IN THE HOUSE. WE CALL IN TO SEE WHEN WE CAN GET THE SYSTEM SERVICED. CALLED THE PEOPLE WHO INSTALLED MY SYSTEM AND THEY CANT GET TO ME TILL NEXT WEEK. WELL GUESS WHAT THATS NOT THE FIRST TIME THEY HAVE LET ME DOWN. SO I GET ONLINE AND LOOK UP JON WAYNE BECAUSE WE HAVE HEARD THEY WERE GOOD. NOT REALLY EXPECTING TO GET A SERVICE CALL TODAY BUT HOPING FOR SATURDAY THE DISPATCHER TELLS ME DONT WORRY I HAVE A TECH IN YOUR AREA AND WE WILL SEND HIM RIGHT OVER. TO GOOD TO BE TRUE RIGHT? WRONG IT GETS BETER THE SUPER NICE SUPER PRO TECH SHOWS UP. TAKES A LOOK AT THE SYSTEM TELLS ME EXACTLY WHAT IS WRONG AND OPTIONS FOR REPAIRS WE DECIDE TO GET IT DONE, AND WITHIN 2 HOURS OF MY CALL WE ARE COOLING DOWN. I AM SOO HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. I EVEN GOT A DISCOUNT WHEN I JOINED THE "RESCUE CLUB" A MAINTENANCE PROGRAM THAT SAVES YOU MONEY. THIS IS THE BEST SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD. NOT WORRIED ANYMORE! WE FIRED THE PLUMBERS AND WILL STICK TO JON WAYNE FROM NOW ON.

I had a Tune-Up done this AM. The Tech did an excellent work, he never stopped working, he cleaned and polished the AC, checked all the nuts and bolts and wires. A great job. Thanks No one has ever done this kind of job on my system before.
