Great experience! Needed a windshield replaced. Called Platinum in the afternoon and made an appointment for the following morning. Arrived and the windshield was replaced within 35 minutes. The cost was about half that of the big name auto glass company. Thank you Platinum Auto Glass.

This is a great place to get a chip/crack fixed in your windshield. Ted was very friendly and helpful, he repaired my windshield in 15 min and did an amazing job. I can no longer find where the chip was. I highly recommend Platinum Auto Glass.

Great price for a new windshield, the "showroom" is a little odd, has a lot of random stuff for sale in it but for windshields this place is great.

Best in town. Definitely as good as it gets. Fast, efficient, and professional. Had 2 rock chips repaired during my lunch hour. I couldn't have asked for a better or more honest service. And that says volumes in any part of the auto business anymore, but especially here in Redding. Already have referred them to family and friends and will continue to do so. As a business owner, I know first hand what quality service should look like. And at Platinum, you have just that!

Ted and his assistants were very friendly and helpful in explaining the process of chip repair on one car and windshield replacement on another car. They were always available to answer questions and make the wait comfortable for me and my children.

Platinum auto glass is as good as it gets! Ted is an extremely friendly owner, honest and the work gets done right and fast. I was in and out in under an hour!! He also is a Veteran of the Marine Corp and I'm not but am grateful to Ted and another customer I met who is disabled from the Vietnam war. God bless them both and when you see Ted, "thank a Vet!!! Ted's son is serving in the Marine Corp for our great country. Be sure to see his sons Marine Corp poster hanging in the entry way.

Six or seven years ago my front passenger window broke. I went to the glass place designated by my insurance company and less then a week later when I went to roll down the window the window fell inside the door. I took it back and after haggling with them they waived installation fees but charged me for a new piece of glass. Again, the "fix" lasted less than a week so I took it to the dealership where the vehicle was purchased. They put a new arm in the door along with a new piece of glass. This "fix" lasted less than a month and I decided to just never use that window. In November of 2016 I had a passenger in my car that unrolled the window and it fell into the door. I was unable to push it back in place so I went to Platinum Auto Glass. On November 4, 2016, Platinum Auto Glass fixed the issues and I have used the window numerous times since then. It is so nice to not have to worry about the window falling into the door if someone used the window. All the employees were very pleasant and helpful.

So I found a leak in my truck called them up. Ted said to bring it right in and he would take a look. I got there they got me right in. He found the leak and fixed it for me. They even had a place for my kids to play while we waited with snacks for them too. They have the best costumer service. The prices are not beatable. If you have anything wrong with auto glass, leaks and or breaks there the place. I will be telling everyone I know this is were to go.

Tim is the man! I was in a real bind this past weekend and he and his stellar staff came right to my rescue. I wanna take my time with this review because he went above and beyond. Late Friday night my 98 blazer passenger window was smashed to bits by an unknown assailant. It was late Friday evening everywhere was closed and i was working the next two days. As a paramedic, my schedule would have been nearly impossible to accommodate during normal business hours......especially on the weekend. Not only was he able to order my exact part and get it delivered to his shop incredibly fast, but he really worked with me to get the job done so my poor car wasn't open to the world. There was a good chance of rain today and he offered to send a technician out to where I park my vehicle at work. The man gave me his personal cell phone number, got a technician, and worked out the details. I'm about to get off the ambulance now and be done with my shift. Thanks to Tim and his team, I will be returning to a car with no broken windows. Customer service like this......incredibly hard to find. I'm new to the redding area, my neighbors told me to call him (as well as my local mechanic) and his reputation preceded him. A true class act!

Ted, the owner, answered my call about a small rock chip in my windshield. He asked a few detailed questions about the chip and said that it wouldn't be any problem to fix it. He gave me a price quote and asked if I could stop by in the morning. I brought my car over and Ted immediately got to work. He was friendly and helped me understand the process of how he made the fix. In the end, he charged me less than the original quote because I paid in cash. I'd definitely recommend stopping here for your auto glass fixes!

Rear window broke Thursday night. Started calling around Friday for quotes and time estimates. Ted answered my call, and provided a quote $28 cheaper than Safelite did. His quote would also result in an appointment 1 week sooner than Safelite! Here's why I'm giving 5 stars; when I expressed concern about the impending rain storms, Ted offered to make a couple of calls to find out if he could get the glass in Friday night and ensure he had the labor force to install the glass Saturday morning. He also offered to let me leave my car there overnight, which saved me a lot of time and effort of taping & tarping my car (since the rain was going to start Friday night). Ted called this morning to let me know the glass had arrived and was being installed. My car is now home safe, sound, and waterproof again. I am so thankful for Ted's extra effort to ensure I would not be without a vehicle during this round of inclement weather. Saving money in the process of supporting a local business was icing on the cake!

I had a chip in my windshield that rapidly turned into a crack that was growing at an alarming rate. I called Platinum Auto Glass and was lucky to get the owner, Ted, on the line. He was so warm and friendly, he instructed me to bring the car by and he'd give me an estimate. I came by later that day and he was extraordinarily kind and professional. He looked at the car and made some calls to verify the make of my windshield (I'm not the best historian on the car). Ted got back to me that evening with the estimate and additional information. This was on Monday. I had an appointment scheduled for 8am on Wednesday morning. Everyone was incredibly courteous and there's plenty to do and see while you wait. However, don't get too comfortable - I doubt you will be waiting for long. Paul, my windshield installer, was early and quick. He was done by 8:45am. Windshield looked great. I was given some instructions and follow-up information and was out the door with an umbrella escort by Ted (a true gentleman). I would be remiss if I did not state that his prices are incredibly reasonable and he stands behind his products and service. I highly recommend this business for your auto glass needs.

This place is the best. Our car's passenger window got smashed out during the rainy season, and the owner was at my house to tape it up within about 20 minutes of my initial phone call. The window was ordered and replaced in less than 24 hours, and the owner was happy to drive me home after I dropped the car off. Perfect service, great work, and overall professionalism. They also vacuumed the car and treated me with kindness and respect. I recommend Platinum as highly as possible! They have my business from now on. Great pricing as well. Perfect experience.
