I tipped the movers of NW Relocation after the completed my move. Actually there was nothing more I could have done for them. They impressed me like anything with their lightning speed and dead accuracy. Their movers came at my place with full preparation and with a perfect plan. It was a treat to watch them packing and moving my stuffs effortlessly. I must admit that they had their own techniques which were highly effective too. Movers gave their best and blended their experience and skills to the fullest. I thank NW Relocation for moving us so effortlessly to Florida from Colorado.

I heard a lot about NW Relocation and also saw some great reviews about them. That is why I hired NW Relocation though I had better offers from other movers. They did not let me down. The team of NW Relocation worked their heart out during my move. I was highly impressed to see their commitment and great presence of mind. These guys are punctual, friendly, polite, skilled, experienced, committed, innovative and very hardworking. I was unable to find a single tiny little mistake by them.

Phone conversation with their sales rep Whitney was a very productive one. She offered me a very attractive deal and their team came at my place to get an idea about the nature of the move. The estimated cost was reasonable. But I was waiting for the main thing. Movers came on time and before coming for the move, they informed me that they were on the way to my place. They carefully wrapped the fragile items, loaded perfectly in the van and moved within the schedule. Everything went according to the plan during my move to Georgia from Colorado. I hardly got a chance to complain. It was good to see all my stuffs in great condition and it felt even better when I saw the bill is same as the estimated amount. I am very happy with the overall outcome.

This is the best moving company I have ever experienced. Obviously I did use many movers because I do relocate a lot for the job that I do. Though I got some good experience regarding professional movers but I never got a perfect move in the past. When they took the charge of my move and delivered me everything that I asked for, I was happy like anything. They came with the packing materials, packed, moved and stored everything at the new place and charged a very moderate amount. I am very happy to have a stress free and timely move within my budget. I was worried about my glass ware, paintings, piano and crystal show pieces and they were also equally good to the task. Nothing was broken, damaged or missing. I thank their sales rep Mike for a great offer and many thanks to the movers who worked their heart out for the safety of my belongings. I do appreciate their commitment during my move to Washington from Oregon.

I am not going to tell a long story. I am a man of few words. Recently I moved to California from Oregon. I used NW Relocation because of their impressive web reviews. It was good to notice that they truly deserve all those reviews. Movers were professional and knew how to deliver a successful move. I am impressed and I might call them again for my uncle’s move.

I used several other movers in the past and unfortunately I never got a smooth move. So, this time I was not hoping for something good when I hired NW Relocation. Actually I booked them just because of the price they asked for and their sales rep Ryan gave me his word that I will not get any chance to complain. No points in guessing that he kept his words. They were absolutely wonderful from the beginning till the end. Movers knew what they are up against and they had the medicine for all problems. So, I got a smooth, stress free and affordable move from Washington to California.

I was going through a very tough situation. Just about a month ago I got divorced and that is why I wanted to change that house. I got a new house and it was the time to move. I asked my friend Ron to find me a good moving company within my budget. He booked NW Relocation on my behalf. I was ready for anything. I had no hopes from anyone. But these movers showed me that life is not that much bad. They came on time and executed the move so brilliantly as if they were dealing with their own move!! Movers were very friendly and helpful. They also saved my money by their extra effort. They are not only good movers, they are good people too.

I was sick of so called professional movers. I have to relocate quite often due to the nature of my job. So, last time I did not even bother to look for a good moving company. One of my friends hired NW Relocation on my behalf. Thank God that the movers did the trick. They came on time, wrapped, moved and even stored everything properly and charged a very reasonable amount. I really felt very good to have a timely and stress free move from Oregon to Idaho. I am finally satisfied with my move. I am sure that I will use them again.

I saw number of reviews about NW Relocation and that made me to call them for a quote. They were not the cheapest one but still I booked them for my move from Oregon to Montana because of their positive reviews and after using them, now I am also writing a similar review about this company. To me, this is the best moving company I have ever used. They are very punctual; movers are extremely talented, skilled, hardworking, polite and innovative. They know their job and they also know how to satisfy their clients. I did not get any chance to complain. It was a picture perfect move in the end.

I was moving to Maine from Washington with my wife and kids. Actually I used professional movers for the first time. Though I heard many horrible stories about professional movers but still I took the gamble of using NW Relocation and the gamble paid off very well for us. Their movers were very skilled, committed, punctual, fast and accurate. They not only came on time, they completed the entire move within the given time and managed to move all our stuffs without a scratch. I do not know about other movers but I am surely going to recommend them.

I got their number from the net while searching for movers. I got many other movers as well but after going through the reviews I called only 5 moving companies and after talking to the sales rep of NW Relocation I decided to go for them. I felt that they would be able to manage my move without a hiccup and they also quoted a very reasonable price. It was great to notice them exceeding my expectations. I did not find any mistakes by the movers and I felt that they did not charge me more than any other movers considering the fact that it was a long distance move (WA - ID). It was a very clean and professional performance by NW Relocation. I hope that they would be able to keep their standard.

Last week when I was looking for a good, reliable and affordable moving company my friend told me about NW Relocation. He spoke very high about them I decided to use them. As a result they helped me to during my move to Texas from Colorado. I got the best price and best service by them. It was not an easy move but they made it look so easy. That is the class of real professional movers. They were very friendly as well. Most surprisingly they charged me less than the original quote. I have decided to hire them again for another move.

Last week I used professional movers for the first time and my experience was just awesome. Though I heard a lot of horrible stories from many people but in my case NW Relocation showed how real professionals accomplish the job. I hired NW Relocation because of their reputation. I heard about them from my friends. I called at their office, discussed my move with their sales rep Mike and received a quote immediately. All went according the plan; movers followed the checklist perfectly, completed the move to Nevada from Oregon within the allotted time and also delivered all my belongings without any scratch. I was so impressed that I have tipped the movers for their outstanding service.

About a week ago I was searching in the net for a good, reliable and affordable moving company for my upcoming apartment move. I found many names and shortlisted 10 companies. I called all 10 companies and finally decided to use NW Relocation. They have moved us to Arizona from Washington. Now let me share my experience with NW Relocation. Their movers came on time and they brought the necessary tools and packing materials with them. They planned the move to the perfection, displayed great control over everything, never seemed to have any problems, went about the task in an organized manner and managed to complete the move a lot before the schedule and without any damage. Now that is what I call professionalism.

We contracted Northwest Relocation for our move from Denver, Colorado to Raleigh, NC. We received our initial quote from this company on 7/1/13 with a pickup day of 7/9/13. We then had an additional load which was picked up on 7/22/13, three days past the promised pickup time, forcing us to delay our move and remain in Denver while we waited. My phone calls were never returned and I was forced to make multiple calls daily to receive the slightest bit of help. My questions were repeatedly dismissed by every service agent I spoke to, all of whom frankly could care less about any of my concerns.

While these experiences were unpleasant and bothersome, they were only the tip of the iceberg. Our move in date had been set at 8/1/13 since my initial contract with the company on 7/3/13. This date was confirmed at every juncture of the process without any mention of the delivery being delayed or altered in any way. I never received any follow up calls, emails or notifications of any kind, leading me to believe that everything was still on schedule.

On 7/30/13, I called again to verify the delivery of our items. At this point, after a bit of arm twisting they conceded to us that our things may not be there until 14 days after the stated delivery day. While this is buried in the fine print of their quotes, it had not been mentioned a single time in any way from the plethora of representatives I had spoken to within the company. Our date of 8/1/13 was confirmed to me a minimum of 10 times without a single person mentioning the "delivery window" until after they had taken all of our things, charged us and essentially taken us hostage. We are now in an empty home with none of our things for up to two weeks.

At this point Northwest Relocation has established a pattern of poor service and general disregard for customers that I find utterly unacceptable. Between service reps hanging up on us, supervisors "gone for dentist appointments" and representatives blaming us for the situation,I am disgusted with the way we have been treated.

I fully understand the verbiage in regards to the delivery time is in the contract, however to not point that out or even mention it until two days prior to delivery is terribly negligent. On top of that, to take a disrespectful and almost scolding tone with a customer who simply wants to be able to start their life after giving you thousands of dollars is just wrong. We continue to call and essentially beg for anybody to talk to and help us with no results.

Our things finally arrived on 8/17. The drivers were nice enough and everything was there and in decent condition, but we were so upset with the company by this point it couldn't be recovered. They didn't respond to our BBB complaint, in fact they called us and essentially threatened us for making it. The customer service manager told us we were liars multiple times and we were unable to get an official price quote until 2 days before.

Overall, the lack of professionalism and general rudeness of this company was appalling. They were very slick in treating us well until we paid them and had our things, at which point a total 180 occurred. Had they been straightforward, showed they cared or empathized whatsoever I may not feel this way, but that was far from the case.

Do not use this company.

Summary, this move cost way more than quoted, took longer than quoted, was highly unprofessional, and they lost parts which I never heard back from their "customer service". I am not happy with my experience, and will not recommend this service to anyone.

I sent this same email to their customer service got, I never heard back, and I am still missing items:

They showed up 22 days after my pickup, more time than they estimated, and arrived on a Saturday. It was not made clear to me that cash was the only form of payment that would be expected. They basically black mailed me for my stuff and I was unable to get the money on Saturday, so they left.

The next day the driver called me back and said he could redeliver in the next three hours, if I could get the necessary cash pulls a $575 "re-delivery fee". This fee is ludicrous, and I thought for sure I was being black mailed. Because the customer service lines were not open on the weekend, I could not confirm this outrageous amount of money, was the actual fine. I was able to get the money out on Sunday using a money gram, $731.70 greater than my original estimate. That is absurd!

The movers had also disassemble my futon in the process, and left me to reassemble, however the nuts and bolts of it were not delivered. All of the major pieces showed up, as reported on the inventory, but none of the hardware, nor was it on the inventory. This futon cost me $500, and is not functional without these pieces.

Finally, and this is maybe the least professional aspect of my moving experience. When the guys came back on Sunday, they complained about me living on the third floor (even though I made clear, and paid more for that), had me help them inventory and unpackage all of my materials. And then THEY HIRED PEOPLE OFF THE STREET to aid them!! They literally had all my stuff on the curb asking for people to help them. I was worried someone was going to run off with my stuff. They did end up hiring someone, to help which I suspected they just paid by cash. This person clearly wasn't trained, could have damaged or stole my stuff. This is not an acceptable business practice.

Overall, this move cost way more than quoted, took longer than quoted, lost parts, was highly unprofessional and was possible extortion. I am not happy with my experience, and will not recommend this service to anyone.

I recently used NW Relocation to move from Portland to Phoenix and I was quite happy with the company. Whitney talked me through my inventory process and explained how they price it. I was quoted about 2500 on the phone and that was the final price upon delivery. I have heard of places using hidden fees but NW Relocation didn't have any unwanted surprises. They picked up my stuff when they said they would and delivered it when they said they would. Upon delivery nothing was damaged or missing and the delivery people were professional and courteous. I would recommend this company to anyone who can use them, they did a fantastic job!

If you are looking at booking ...

If you are looking at booking a mover, I would think twice about NW Relocation. Here is our current experience and we're in the middle (or hopefully the end of possibly receiving our things).

1- The initial quote we were given was significantly less than what the actual price was. This was despite me requesting they add some buffer by going from more than 20 boxes to 30 or 40 in the estimate. Despite this, our estimate increased by more than 30%. I was fine with this and just needed my stuff to be delivered safely and securely.

2- They knew from the beginning the location (street address, zip code, city, etc.) of the final delivery. I even told them a big Semi would NOT fit where the delivery location is and checked this on the contract. Despite that, the man who took delivery of our things didn't blink, said your final cost would not change and now...guess what? NW delivery refuses to deliver our things with us paying another $650 dollars.

3- Their customer service is horrible. We cannot get anyone to call us back and only the driver is responding (by the way, the driver/delivery guy has been very good - he should run this business because he actually things and solves problems).

I will log back in and update this again to update everyone on my experience here.

I've also posted to their Facebook page and Twitter acct to see if ANYONE will call me back.

One more thing, on this page they list BBB, but if you go tot he BBB site, they are not an accredited BBB business. I've seen several times over where this company lists false information publicly.
