We had a great experience working with Tom from K9 Katelynn. Although we had considerable experience working with dogs, our two dogs which we have had for 31/2 and 41/2 years, have been tough to work with. Great in the house they were both tough on the leash and daily walks became a source of struggle and suffering. Tom did a fantastic job training us so we were able to train our dogs in a consistent and systematic way which was also totally effective. He was always on time, polite and professional with a system that really works. He knows dogs, and people too! Just a great experience!!!

From our first meeting with Tom I knew we were in good hands. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. His ability to train worked well for the trainees (us humans) and our dog, Noodles. We learned multiple commands (necessary and fun ones), he helped with safety issues and any questions or problems that we were having. Noodles is doing so well and it is directly related to Tom's excellent ability to train We are so grateful to Tom and would highly recommend him to anyone. I would not hesitate to call him for additional training or a reboot if we needed it. Make sure and do your homework- it really helps!

We have 2 dogs that Tom from K9 Katelynn trained this past spring. We are so happy with how well they are both doing. Tom was able to get them both swimming and running on a treadmill--which no other trainer could do! they are better behaved and are so happy that we found Tom! He has changed the behavior of both of our dogs.

We have an 18 month old puggle who went from knowing zero commands to listening very attentively by the end of our training. Not only did our dog get trained, but so did we as owners! Tom had us take good notes every session that way we can refer back for years to come if needed. He also taught our dog fun things to exercise her mind, and even taught her to swim and run on the treadmill. We are so pleased we hired K9 Katelynn!

When I first started working with K9katelynn I had just adopted a dog. One who was in the rescue for 6 months. I was a new dog owner. My dog (Pit Bull mix) was great with people but not so much towards other dogs. She was shy, startled easy and quick to go into fight mode. She had went potty inside, broke out of her kennel, pulled on the leash and I was scared to walk her. I was scared because everytime she saw another dog she tried to fight. Over the 1st couple of weeks with K9katelynn I was frustrated as results were so so. Towards the middle of our training the bigger picture stared to come together. My dog and I had the basics down and were working on new commands. Today my dog is more confident, knows her boundaries, listens to my commands and the aggression issues has improved a ton. K9katelyn has been amazing from working with my schedule, working on my needs along the way and guiding me through growing pains. If you want a personal touch from someone that will come to you and deliver results, then K9katelynn is the one you want.

We couldn't be happier with the results. Tom was very professional and helpful. He explained everything up front so there were no surprises. We would recommend him to anyone with a dog who needs a little fine tuning to a dog with major issues. Our dog had some aggressive behaviors which have not been an issue since the training. She learned how to sit, down, stay, place, wait among other commands. She also learned how to run on a treadmill which gives her the extra exercise she needs.

I hired K9 Katelyn to help train my australian shepherd and liked his approach of positive reinforcement. I've done dog training classes in the past, but hands down I've never learned as much as I did by going through this program. I took at least a page of notes during every session which aided me greatly when we practiced during the week. I literally feel like I have a book of knowledge now and could train any new dog on my own now. And the only reason I think I could do that is because of the copious notes I was asked to take each week during our training sessions. My dog is super well behaved, was able to learn all the skills, and is very obedient now. I can't thank Tom and K9 Katelyn enough for helping me train my dog.
