Family owned and operated, O'Blarney's Irish Pub has been Olympia's favorite pub since 1985. Mike and his staff have crafted a lively gathering place, where people from all walks of life-students and seniors, executives and tradesmen, entrepreneurs and the unemployed, are welcome. O'Blarney's has a large menu featuring several traditional Irish dishes, as well as some of the area's finest steaks, salads, pasta dishes and more. The O'Blarney's Burger has been voted Olympia's Best Burger,14 of the last 16 years. Readers of the Daily Olympian picked O'Blarney's as Olympia's best business lunch, best first date, best sports bar, and Olympia's best late night hang out. We offer a full bar, plus a large selection of micro, import, and domestic beers on tap. We are the area's trendsetter in satellite sports. The game you want to watch is probably on here, and in Hi-Definition. We feature every NFL game every Sunday, 80 MLB games every week, Nascar, NBA, PGA, NHL, NCAA, hurling, and more! Fantasy sports fans appreciate our Free Wireless Internet. Pub sports? YES! People love to gather around our four popular pool tables, shuffleboard, dart-boards, and coin games.

Recommend giving it a shot when you are in the mood for a lively place that's part TGI Fridays, part loud bar with people in their 20s and 30s. It always has one or two really good beers on tap (recently Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale!), the staff is friendly, The food is sports bar food - burgers, hot wings, fried stuff, and when you're in the mood for that kind of thing, the fancy bars serving salmon and crap just won't do. I've only been on weekend nights, so keep that in mind when I say O'Blarneys is a noisy pick up joint. But it's not so loud that I can't hear conversation with friends too. It does attract people that are younger and more pumped up with testosterone than, say, Fish Tale, so be prepared for that. Nonetheless, it's really fun there when a band is playing and the dance floor gets packed, and I don't object when people pick O'Blarneys to meet at This place is all right in my book.

Looking for a hot spot place to meet and mingle? Hit it after 8:00. I relish the laid back attitude at the "Pub". The staff is always friendly, the Guinness is poured well, and the beer buddies are fabulous. It's got all you really need, plus, trivia night on Thursdays is always a good time!! (except for the cell phone cheaters... we know who you are!) One added bonus is they broadcast the UFC matches... on LOTS and LOTS of big screens. Check it out sometime...

O'B's is like a good ol' faithful friend.... Been there most of your life, steady, reliable, familiar and comfortable. I'm admittedly biased, being that I spend so much time there. It's definitely my pub of choice. I've seen lots of places come and go in Oly over the years, but O'Blarney's is a local institution. I don't go there just because the food is amazing, or just because of the friendly staff, I go there because it has great ambiance. If you're looking for a restaurant experience, turn right when you get there. Sports Bar? Turn left.

Definitely not an Irish bar. It's really a sports bar with a couple of Irish whiskey mirrors. Very mixed local crowd. But hey, the wings are actually pretty damn hot! I taste habanero. And if you like to ticket gamble, it's the place for you.

I got my prefunk on with their O'Blarney's beer, which was uber tasty and stuck with that minus a cocktail or tow for the rest of the night. When my co-coworkers showed up, we all chuckled at the menu and had to try the beer buds, a cheese filled tot. DUDE! Everybody was well taken care of and some of us stayed afterwards to continue the good times. Some shuffleboard, some pool, some darts, good vibes, good times! Oh and I won some stuff later in the night in their contest but guessing some trivia (thankyou internet enabled phone!!!! shhhhh!)

Food was way above bar food quality, though the beer buddies are not for the faint! My water was never less than 3/4 full and there were about 15 of us. Usually if your water glass is running low, the service is lousy, not the case here. Anyways, just thought I'd share my experience, we all had a great time. As far as bars / pubs in Oly, 5 stars.

We had a blast! We had an office party/gathering there and it was alot of fun. The staff were helpful and amazingly attentive. When I went in early to confirm our tables, I was greeted by the hostess and she helped me arrange them together (we didn't have a reservation or anything) and got me all situated with a fresh brew in my hand.

The business did a great job. I cannot even tell the vehicle had ever been damaged and the work was done quickly. They were very responsive and worked quickly.

In town for business, not knowing anyone, by the time I walked (ok, nearly stumbled but not quite) out of O'Blarneys I did know a few people and had a great time on my first night in Washington. It was Thursday and there was a trivia contest. My team was actually leading for one round but the last round killed us. A nice selection of craft beers on tap and the food is very good at a very reasonable price. It was great fun, very friendly and attentive bar/wait staff, and I will be spending several evenings here before I head back home.

O'Blarney's is a place where the young can party hearty on Saturday night and the not so young can have a great lunch or dinner any time of day or evening in a quiet convivial atmosphere. Service at the bar and in the dining room is great and the staff are friendly and fun. Pull tab afficionados can entertain themselves, too, at a bar just for them. They have a great line of draft beer and a nice menu. For the hot wing fan they serve the best wings anywhere around and let you pick your heat on a scale of 1 to 6. The 5s and 6s definitely pack heat.

Menu items were prepared as described and exceeded my expectations. The Irish soda bread was the best I've had. We were in the bar for the UFC PPV ($5 per person). Come arly on the Sat. nights, it fills quickly. Staff was couteous and professional. We had the corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and the warm brownie sundae. Yum!

On a more serious note this is a fun place to eat drink and be merry. Low key atmosphere with no drama. Good grub, good variety of beverages and friendly staff.

Decent pub food at reasonable prices, interesting selection of draft beers, sports on multiple TV's, dart boards, lots of people talking at once, live music and open mike nights and of course celebrating anything Irish.
