STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY NO GOOD

The worst company ever!!!

A friend of mine has gone through hell with those people. A simple move to California turned into a nightmare. They made sure to get her business by getting a quote that was very low compare to other companies she contacted. Soon after pickup they started to ask for unexplained fees that was not in original quote. To make a long story short they held the stuff even after receiving complete payment for the move.

Merchandise was in poor condition and never arrived within the promised time of delivery. All the 4 stars review you see on this site are made by people working for Prisma Cargo. Ask Prisma for those people for references and you will soon find out they do not exist. Stay away !!! It will end up costing you time money and much more.

The operation manager is rude and will try anything to intimidate you. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY NO GOOD

What “unexpected fees” was your friend charged? Why are you complaining on his behalf, and not him /she directly? There is an industry standard of exclusions, our standard ones on most quotes are: Custom duties and local taxes if applicable, Full coverage insurance, piano handling THC Charges, Fumigation fees, Demurrages, Customs inspections, scanning Long carry, Abnormal access and hoisting, Wooden crates, Packing (available) Bulky Items, storage, they are written very clearly on our contracts. Basically as you can see it is mainly for walks ups/ long carry at delivery/ use of crane. Please note as well,- International shipping of house hold goods is not a transaction you do on a regular basis, At every port in the world there are charges, generally, pier fees/terminal handling fees, Every shipment to every port in the world, can hold a shipment, to do an examination , In some countries it happens one in hundreds of shipment is some almost all the time. Basically all house hold goods shipping companies I’m aware of have the above exclusions.

I moved to Germany with Prisma...

I moved to Germany with PrismaCargoSolutions. My company recommended them. I had a lot of stuff and was living on the 21st floor of a high rise building in Chicago. My move was complicated because it was like 3 moves at the same time. My daughter decided to stay in Chicago to continue her studies, so I asked PrismaCargo to move some of the stuff to her new place downtown. Another part of the move was few boxes I wanted to send home. Most of the stuff was coming with me. I was very pleased with the movers. They sorted my stuff into the 3 shipments with different labels, so nothing went mixed. They packed everything with extra care, they started at 8:30 as promised and finished at 8pm, I could tell they were exhausted, but they barely took a break and swallowed their sandwich in the hall, while waiting for the elevator to bring down the boxes. The management of the company did a great job, great customer service, we received updates of our container immediately after it was returned to the port. I received everything in a great condition and with no damage. The guys here, Ingo and Mark were very correct and professional, they made contact with us for the delivery, we were very happy. Other colleagues of mine moved with Prisma and had the same good experience. In 3 years my company will transfer me back and I want to use Prisma Cargo again. Antonio

Woodside NY-London UK. Superb Service.

On the day of the move, Marc and the3 movers with him worked very efficiently like they were 6 people. They made sure none of our items were damaged and handled with extra care. They moved us out of our house in Woodside in 5 hours. Everything was packed into a 20FT container and arrived in London after 5 weeks. All 3 guys were very friendly, neat, nice uniform and professional. The invoice reflected what we discussed over the phone with the sales person, Pam. No additional charges. Superb service. Lee

Trust. I trusted Prisma from the beginning. The sales people, the operation manager, the movers. Came on time, fumigated my mattress, crated my big mirror, delivered with no damages. The agent they use is Canada is excellent. It was obvious from the way they care about every single detail, that you can trust them. I moved to Canada with them and it was AMAZING!!! Thanks. This is a company to trust, I highly recommend them, if you want to untrust your belongings this is the company to go with. Barbara

Faboulous service. Last year m...

Faboulous service. Last year my wife decided to move back to Brazil. I moved from Jersey to Brazil with Prisma and I am extremely satisfied. The sales representative Alex was very informative, and in frequent contact with me and my wife. they constantly followed up before and after the move making my all experience going smoothly. Their client relationship is excellent, I also visited their offices, they are very nice people. The movers came on time and did an excellent job in packing, they were clean, wearing a uniform, I took pictures of them. Most of all I appreciate their honesty with the taxes in Brazil, Alex told us in advance that we had to pay them, while other companies where trying to give us lower rates to get the business. We paid as much as Prisma told us, in jersey and Brazil, My wife called me few days ago, she received everything and it is fine, no damages, we took 23K insurance but was not need it, thanks prisma

Very nice, very reliable. My friend from the Italian Consulate moved with Prisma and was very happy, they seem to be specialized on Italy and France. Anyway I contacted them as well, Marcelo, Haime and Alessandro were on time, picked up my stuff and shipped them to Rome. The operation team told me ahead of time they would send everything through Rotterdam so I would pay lower port fees. I was afraid of this because I know from Italian custom charging 1000 euros for entrance of just few boxes, so I really did not want to pay this. 2 weeks ago my stuff arrived, I paid around 250 euros thc as I thought. it was annoying to send the paperwork to rotterdam by mail, but I saved $1,000.00 by doing this. yesterday I received my stuff, nothing broken or missing, I am very satisfied. I highly recommend them. Paola

I had about the worst experien...

I had about the worst experience ever with this service. Sure they were quick to pick my stuff up, but after that it seemed as though my stuff would never arrive to me. I will have to say that Prisma was alright, but when they turned there services over to the company in Europe that handled my move, it was a nightmare. They requested that i send original documents to them through the post, and after that they would forward it to the authorities and it would take ten days to process. I sent them the stuff through the mail (after spending 10 bucks) and after all of that, I had to email them again to see if they got the contract... it took them two days to respond with "no". So I ended up spending 15 more bucks to send it again, and there was no confirmation that they received my papers.

I only got a response after I bitched them out via email about how horrible this service was for the amount of money I was paying. Magically, after that email, my stuff was going to be delivered the following Monday (I wonder what happened to the ten days of processing).

I work an hour away from where I live and they could not give me an exact time as to when they were going to arrive (completely understandable), so I told them to call me when they were about one hour away so I could go home and let them in... they didn't bother calling until they arrived at my flat. I had to tell them to wait, and luckily they did, but seriously? One phone call could have saved so much time...

I also didn't appreciate the fact that they charge extra the higher up you live. It was no extra charge if you lived on the first or second floor. After that, it was 90 euros for every floor after if you had no elevator, and 50 euros for every floor with an elevator... I live on the fourth floor and I don't think the extra 15 seconds each way to go up two more floors was worth 100 euros...

Overall, I was very skeptical of this place, esp cause the reviews weren't too great, but after sleeping on an air mattress for 4 months waiting for this stuff to arrive, I would have to say: go with another company, for real.

There are many aspects to a move. Timely arrival, quality of packing, on time delivery, proper customs clearance, etc. We have many repeat and referred customers, accounts with companies, embassies, consulates, international origination's, Etc. that will assess to Prisma cargo solution level of quality Unlike on a local move, on an international move, you ship to a different country, shipment needs to go through customs clearance. Sometimes, regulations/ procedures change, sometimes customs can be difficulty, etc Some technical difficulties are sometimes unavoidable. The movers should have called prior to arrival, with a better notice, seems to have been some miscommunication. “I also didn't appreciate the fact that they charge extra the higher up you live. As far as the amount, would 2 Euro be too little, would 200 Euro be too much? It is what it is, and is a standard average charge with European agent. When a legal contract included delivery of one flight up, and the customer is above one flight up, the customer is free to have the mover deliver one flight up and carry the items from there himself.

I was contacted by an Italian ...

I was contacted by an Italian woman by the name of Pam,she was a sales rep.

i wanted to get a quote for 200 cubic feet and the price was $1,995.00.after i signed the contract,i did not receive any news from them for weeks. Until I received a call from the operations department from a rude man by he name of Alex who was ordering me get my papers ready in hurry because i needed to have them ready for the Italian consulate i felt so intimidated, so rude .Fortunately everything was done in time without the help of Prisma cargo solutions. They were very unprofessional. The pick up date was set for 9 am but they did not get there until 3pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very unprofessional. Three hours to take a single chest of drawer a mirror double dresser one coffee table a china cabinet some boxes (mostly medium size).....the movers were not professional looking and they did not have a uniform on. I didn't feel comfortable with the look or the way they were, very messy. After all this i did not receive any information for a while.i then received a call from the operations dept from this nasty woman (Pam) the one who first called me who seemed nice but wasn't. She told me my furniture was at the port of Rotterdam and not Italy!!!!!!!! I got charged way more over of what my quote was almost $2,000 more. After i wanted to clear things up and understand they had no explanation for me, they said i had to pay or my things would get thrown to sea. A couple of days after i spoke to Pam once again and with her bad manners she explained to me that there was a port fee that i had to pay and my stuff was no longer 200 cubic feet but 265 cubic feet. I trusted pisma cargo solutions no one ever told me about this port fee called THC. My furniture is not yet in Italy and I am seriously thinking of filing a a complaint form.I DON NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER!!!!!!

I chose Prisma for my relocati...

I chose Prisma for my relocation to Australia from California after an exhausting search for a company that didn't want to charge me an arm and a leg to ship my small household.

After a hiccup with a communication clash with one of Prismas' reps, I finally dealt directly with Alex Masouras who was absolutely fantastic. Courteous and helpful all the way down the line.

I was promised pick up on 4/18 at 9am, 20 foot container on truck and 4 well presented and well mannered men arrived on my doorstep at 8.30am sharp and ready to roll. These boys packed the container within 1 1/2 hours and packed it tight and secure.

The voyage for the container took 8 weeks LA to Brisbane, Alex Masouras was in contact with me all along the way with answers to my questions in regard to the containers whereabouts. I was able to track the voyage online every day.

When the container arrived, the broker (Hellas Europe Australia) chosen by Prisma to handle the clearance this end did a great job, got a few items cleared and treated that had been singled out by customs and then had the container delivered to my door within 10 days of arriving in port by a fabulous couple of guys from Conroys Removals in Caboolture.

Everything manifested arrived, nothing missing, the only broken items where a glass from a painting and 3 plastic plates. A few minor bruises on some of the furniture but overall everything intact.

I would definately recommend Prisma Cargo Solutions, Hella Europe Australia and Conroys Removal Caboolture to anyone!

Prisma Cargo is FANTASTIC!. They helped me have an easy and stress-free move. The sales representative Mike was very nice and helpful, he called before and after the move to check how things were doing. The actual movers Marcelo and Ivan were such a gentelmen, polite and at the same time hard worker and efficient. They showed up on time, packed all our stuff, moved all of our boxes, in just 3 hours.

They were FANTASTIC!. Their representative in the UK is great as well. They called us to coordinate with my husband for delivery. Everything went smoothly. They were very professional as all Prisma people, we are very happy. I will recommend them to everybody.

My friend David recommended me to Prisma. I am very happy I listed to him. My wife and I moved several times within the US and internationally. There was always an issue with the moving company, we had to pay this out of our pocket. The prices after the contract would be signed, would go up all the time. This time we had a 3 years old and it was very stressful, we did not want any delays. Prisma people were great. The sales representative, Mike gave us all the information we needed. The operation manager handled everything very professionally making sure there was no delay on our end. We received our crib, all the kids toys on time, and our clothing, no extra costs. Katie and I are very satisfied. In 2 years we will move back from Australia again. We will use Prisma. DKerr-

Operation manager is rude (Alex Masura), was not able to provide a simple explanation about a document he forgot to send out once the shipment was picked up. The whole mishap cost me valuable time and money. For the 2 weeks extra time it took to clarify the mistake they had the nerve to charge extra cost to the original invoice. They could not locate my shipment for at least 10 days. As of today I still did not receive my shipment. I file an official complain to the DCA office. Not a company to trust at all stay away from them

Quick to response and Professional

I was waiting 4 weeks for a quote from a local company to move my stuff from LA to Brazil. Everyday I was getting a difference excuse and no quote. One night I logged into the internet, googled “Moving Brazil” and there were all these companies listed. I contacted a couple of them, only Prisma and another one got back to me. I did not know what to expect, but after learning few basic things like how to check their FMC license and references decided to choose them. They were able to organize everthing in few days. They came, they packed, they sent everything to Brazil. I just was sad about my old mirror and one leg of my table the leg, it was already loose at pickup and arrived broken. Everything else came in good condition though, I had over 350 items, so it was fine. Well, I am overall satisfied with Prisma, they did a good job. Pablo

0% Damages

I moved 12 times in total. 10% of my stuff came always broken. 2-3 boxes were always lost. I take insurance and I advise you to do as well, 10-20K. Last week I received my stuff from Houston TX, Prisma picked it up, as always I was worried about damages. Not one single scratch! They delivered 2 weeks later than they told me, but the service was good and 0% damages for the first time!
