Tech told us the part was so expensive we should just get a new furnace... then feverishly tried to book an appointment for us to get a quote for a new furnace. Very clearly on commission. Got a new furnace (blindly since we trusted Williams' diagnostic) and it turned out the coil needed to be cleaned. It had nothing to do with the furnace. I politely called a Williams supervisor to discuss, and supervisor never called me back. Then I had to leave a message with a receptionist who would take my complaint and call me back. Guess what? I had to call her back the next day to get a response from the supervisor, who had no response. Eventually the receptionist called me back saying they would clean it. The uppity tech who shows up said that it didn't need cleaned, even though it made a toothbrush black with lint. After his refusal (I guess it was too much work), he credited back almost $100 from the service call that ended up costing me thousands. In the end, I had to pay another company to clean it. There are several disgusting things about the experience. I'm not sure buying a new furnace that I didn't need was the worst... perhaps the worst was they never gave me the respect to even talk with anyone who outranked the phone receptionist.
We at Williams Comfort Air provide quality service you can trust. The furnace that Zach refers to below was NOT purchased or installed by Williams Comfort Air. Our technician went to the home to look at the old furnace because of a “no heat” issue. After many safety checks, the heat exchanger was looked at with a camera which found rust and pitting. On the Summary of Findings, two options were given; 1. Replace the heat exchanger, 2. Replace the furnace. As the heat exchanger can be costly and the furnace was old, the technician wanted to give a price comparison. Both options were declined. Zach spoke with one of the owners who then sent a technician to his home to clean the cooling coils. He also authorized a refund in the amount requested by Zach. To restate, Williams Comfort Air did not sell or install Zach's new furnace.

Provided by YP.comAs a home inspector, I know how important it is to present a professional and competent image, and to back up that image with skill and knowledge. All of the Williams Comfort Air employees I have come in contact with during my recent HVAC upgrade have met and exceeded this criteria. I would highly recommend Williams Comfort Air to anyone needing a new HVAC system or service.

Provided by YP.comWilliams Comfort Air is a very reliable company. My most recent service call was timely and quite pleasant. The service tech was knowledgable and very thorough. Will continue to use them. I also think the service plans are great to have as they keep your furnace and AC running in tip top shape.

Provided by YP.comIt seems the company may have been bought out in last couple of years, and techs are on commission. Had a terrible experience with rude technician. Paid the $95 service fee and went elsewhere with my business and still came out WAY ahead with my repairs (that were originally quoted by Williams to be well in excess of $1000)

Provided by YP.comThe staff was very persistent with us to schedule our free checkup and like many things, I kept putting this off. However, I was pleasantly surprised with I was assigned a time-slot later in the day and Chris Ayers was there within 30 minutes of the reminder phone call! Chris was extremely helpful and kind. One of our cats who is not a people-person even let Chris pet her!! Williams Comfort Air gets a gold star in my book!

Provided by YP.comWe have had our new furnace and air conditioner that they installed since march and we love them. Also the savings are adding up for us. We had our first winter check up today for the the furnace and heat pump and the technician was polite and thorough. I will recommend them to anyone.

Provided by YP.comWe had a service contract with this company and unlike many others in the industry...they called to remind us that we had not done our scheduled FREE tune up. Impressive! They came out in a timely manner, called 30 minutes prior, put covers on his shoes, and was pleasant and efficient. I am very impressed with their service!

Provided by YP.comOur hvac unit died just a few days after Christmas 2010, in the middle of the night (of course). The technician responded right away and offered a sympathetic ear and a couple of great options for us. We weren't thrilled to make such a large purchase right after the holiday, but we got a great deal on the unit and advice on receiving both a tax credit and a rebate from our utility provider.
The Williams Comfort folks always prompt us that scheduled maintenance is due and show up during their prearranged time. They are respectful that this is our home and not just some place they are working. They wear booties over their shoes and ask permission to come into the house each time they enter. We're customers for life!

Provided by YP.comGreat experience!!!! The service tech showed up on time and fixed my problem with ease. When he was done he gave me an explanation of what he did and why. Better than anything else he cleaned up after himself as if he were never here. I will definately never use anyone but Williams again.

Provided by YP.comOur team members are very knowledgeable and are willing to stay as late as possible to finish a job and to make sure the customer is always happy. If you are planning to spend at least 5 years in your home you should always consider going green by using geothermal, because within 5 to 10 years it will pay for itself.
