Great job doing the new garage door install today, very affordable, will use again :)

This morning my garage door broke and I wasn't sure who to call - so I decided to call A1 Garage Door Service. I did a search for best garage door repair phoenix and found out that the garage door industry is very competitive in Phoenix, AZ. Bottom line is this: I called three of the top companies and found that A1 Garage Door Service could come out the fastest and didn't mind stopping by when they were in my neighborhood. The guy Tommy came out and he was such a nice guy, turns out it was a gear in the garage door opener. He did the work, went over the warranty, and left a sticker up. I'm glad I called this company and will be referring them to my neighbors, b/c I think they all have the opener.

5 STARS!!! Today the garage door extension spring broke on the one piece garage door - a1 garage door service was able to come out within 3 hours and fix it. I am really happy with the price and the workmanship. I will use these guys all the time for my rentals now!

Great work by the technician who helped me out. He was kind, professional and honest which was a big relief. I would definitely use this company in the future if need be.

These guys installed my garage door. They did a fine job but the installer didn't tell me that if the door doesn't bounce back that it splits off of the belt drive. I called thinking it was broke and they fixed it quick. I guess it was an additional safety thing from lift master that I never seen. The installer charged me for the service but the manager credited it to me back seeing the installer should have explained the features to the customer. I am happy with this company

These guys did great today! I live in Peoria and they were the first ones I found. They did the job the same day and overall I know its hard to find legit companies. These folks are it!

I heard a loud bang when opening my door which was my spring breaking. My car was stuck in the garage as well. I called A1 and they sent a tech out within the hour. He was quick, knowledgeable and repaired the door at a great price. I definitely recommend A1 Garage service to anyone that needs garage repair and will use them in the future.

I needed a same day tension spring repair. They sent me Tommy who worked quickly and efficiently to have my garage door working on time for me to get my car out and go to work. I will be recommending them to everyone I meet even if their door works fine for now.

My garage door would get stuck while opening. I called these guys and they were able to help diagnose the problem over the phone (along with a quote if I wanted them to do it). I was able to find the problem with their help and ended up replacing my screw drive carriage myself because the threads had worn off.



I still had them come out because the garage had never been serviced. Tim, the repair technician, explained to me the cause of the carriage failure was my springs. My garage door was very heavy and difficult to lift while in manual mode and this put strain on the carriage and opener. The springs, rollers, and some bearings were replaced and Tim pointed out the issues/concerns as he worked. It made me feel comfortable that I was making the right decisions when choosing what to have done. Tim also waived a couple of the fees. Awesome! And my garage door is a lot quieter when opening and closing now, too.



This company is also great because they send an email reminder of your appointment. They also call when they are on there way and provide an estimate on when they will be there.



The next time I need some garage door service I will be calling these guys again.

A1 Garage Door Repair is the best repair company in all of Arizona. Professional and on time service calls is what I like. Everyone is looking for a good contractor to do our repairs. They have my business because of the great care they took to show me every thing I ask about. They made me feel very comfortable with there professional work.

I set up an appointment for today with A1 to check out my garage door and opener as I recently moved into this home. The movement of the door was loud and sounded a little 'grindy'. Plus the remote control that came with the house didnt work even after I replaced the battery, and the replacement I bought wouldn't program.



I was delighted when Tim the Tech guy called me about an hour prior to my set appointment stating he was in the area and was wondering if he could arrive a little early. I was all for that.



Tim quickly diagnosed the problem(s), replaced parts that really needed to be replaced, programmed a new remote and was on his way.



I appreciate the professionalism of A1 - I highly recommend them.

He told me everything that was wrong with my door and gave me suggestions to replace some parts to make my door last without pressuring me into buying anything I didn't need. I needed someone to come out that day since my car was stuck inside, and A1 Garage was the only company who could get someone out that day. The technician was able to get my door working within an hour after getting there, and I was very happy with the price. I highly recommend these guys to anyone with a garage door problem!
