I bought a non working lawn mower from a yard sale back n August or September and brought it to dale, not only did he fix it but while he did he leave me watch and explained how to do the up keep on it.. and did I mention he gave me a great price!!! Will be going back to see him for any of my small engine needs.

Did a great job on my commercial walk-behind mower. He picked up and delivered my mower. Prices were really reasonable; the customer service was even better. Will use again!

Dale picked up our mower, fixed various small issues and couldn't find the issue that was causing it not to start. As soon as my husband tried to start the next day the mower wouldn't start. Dale promptly came back and picked up the mower. He returned it in a day and a half. Only small charge for part. Mower back in good working order. He is a very honest and trustworthy repair guy. If its not right he will make it right. It was a pleasure doing business with him . And I enjoyed meeting his kind wife as well. We will recommend him to friends and will definitely use him again if we need him.

I am so delighted to tell everyone that Dale is the magic repair man! He picked up my John Deere riding mower yesterday afternoon with the sad diagnosis of my mower needing a whole new motor. He gave a fair estimate for what was clearly going to be an expensive repair. He estimated with a holiday weekend, it might take close to one week for him to get the parts, do the repairs, and bring it back. He was able to get the motor for my mower this morning and had my mower back to me (all cleaned up and looking brand new) in 24 hours! I can't say enough about how pleased I am and what genuinely nice and honest people Dale and his wife are. And did I mention that he's magic?! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Dale is a great honest guy. I would recommend him to anyone needing help with a small engine.

I took my craftsman riding mower in because it would not start. Dale diagnosed the problem and had it repaired quickly. The service and quality of repair exceeded my expectations.

I took a pressure washer to the shop because it wouldn't start. Dale looked it over, fixed the problem, and I asked him how much I owed him. He said nothing; just give him a tip. I gave him a $20 and he gave me $10 back. So, when I needed a mower I went back to him. Bought a used Craftsman tractor mower and it works just fine. No need to go anywhere else from now on.

He will give you a fair price.and get it done in a reasonable time.

Dale is great, honest and top notch. I needed to find someone to repair my sit down mower. After reading the reviews here I decided to call him. He was very knowledgeable and even offered a pick up and drop of service for my mower. He made the repair and delivered my mower. It is running great and this was a great experience. I originally called Dale because of a belt problem, and also to have a general maintenance performed on my lawn tractor. The tractor was brought back in about a week and everything worked great, except that there was a slight problem when engaging the PTO. Dale came right out and took care of the problem, which was NOT related to the original work. Everything has been fine since then. I would not hesitate to recommend Dale's Small Engine to others.

A while back I took my poorly-running push mower into Home Depot's small engine repair office on Old Fort. After describing my problem and without even looking at the mower, the guy told me it was a carburetor problem, that all they would do is purchase a new one, install it, and that they would not guarantee the work. All this for around $100.



Declining his offer, I brought it in to Dale's. He diagnosed the problem (the carb was only one small part of the issue) and fixed it for a little over half of what Home Depot wanted to charge me. The mower has been running like new now for four mowings. Thank you Dale! I would recommend this service to anyone with a small engine problem.
