We enjoyed working with them and they got all my father's IRS problems sorted out within the first year since we hired them. Earlier this year I was shocked to find out that my husband was in deep trouble with the IRS. We've been living separated for the last year but we were still legally married. He was the one who moved out of the house, so one day I get a notice from the IRS about them levying some of our properties, including the house where I was living in. You can imagine my shock, I had no idea we owed any taxes.



I was so mad, but managed to clear my head enough to figure I'm never gonna get the whole truth out of George so I decided to follow my own best interest and protect myself from whatever he got himself into. I was also afraid I'm going to loose my home and everything I worked for to the IRS.

It turns out my husband was in much bigger trouble than I imagined, but luckily most of that trouble he "earned" before we got married so Joe managed to save part of our commonly owned assets, including my home which was that only thing I really cared about.



Needless to say that the next thing I did was to get a proper divorce as fast as possible, and I haven't been in contact with George ever since, I'm just happy I got to keep my home and that I can move on with my life.

I had not filed my taxes properly for a couple of years now, didn't care much for doing so nor did I ever have any concerns about the IRS knocking on my door. This summer I started receiving letters from the IRS, which I was foolish enough to ignore, till a few months ago when I got slapped with an IRS audit notice. Obviously I didn't have a clue as to what to do, went through a great deal of panic and I'd lie if I'd say I wasn't a bit scared, so I asked around and one of my friends recommended I called this CPA guy Joe Mastriano. I've never hired such services before in my life, and I had my doubts about paying, what seamed to me at that time, a pretty large fee, to have someone deal with the IRS for me. My friend talked me into it, and it was probably the best decision I ever made. It was a difficult time for me but with Joe's help I managed to get through the IRS audit and came out pretty well out of it too. Now I realize that were it not for Joe's help, the IRS would have probably ripped me apart for all the money that I had, and then some. Now I have a much better respect for filing taxes and especially for people that have to face the IRS on a daily basis, and I think Joe's fees reflect the value of his services and are a reasonable investment that can literally save your life's earnings. Thanks again Joe, and also thank your assistant for having so much patience with me, I know I'm a difficult person to work with.

Joe runs a honest business, he and his firm's employees have always been helpful and well mannered towards us. His rates are more than fair for the amount of experience he brings to the table, we always felt we got our money's worth out of his services.



Both me and my wife run our own businesses, and we are both providing services for our own customers more or less, through the nature of our work. We know from personal experience that every now and then there are clients that find reasons to complain and be dissatisfied no matter how much you try to make them happy.

We also recommend that you follow whatever advice Joe gives you and don't go around making choices thinking that you know better. It is not enough to hire a professional to help you out of your problems, if you are not cooperative and don't try to help yourself too.

I first contacted Joe Mastriano's firm back in February of 2011. Joe consulted with me and I told him about my payroll taxes that I just had no ability to pay. He assured me that he could handle it and that I would be able to save close to 1/2 of what I owe. I was a little skeptical at first but stuck with it. We just finished cleaning up all the issues with the IRS and my tax liability dropped from $65,000 to just over $27,000. I was expecting to save close to 50% but NOT OVER 50%...!!! Excellent company, excellent service! TWO THUMBS WAY UP!

Stay away, SCAM! Very dishonest company. They are bullies if you post a poor review about them they slander your name please see their post about me below. By the way they did not give me a full refund! they refunded me 956.00 of 2300. They simply take your money and provide no service.



This TrinaJ Is Very Unstable

Maybe when people say they feel like they are having a nervous breakdown over their problems, we shouldn't accept them as a client.

When serving the general public, every firm comes across people who hire companies to work for them, sign an agreement, and pay a retainer. then when their bills get too high, they change their mind. Often that isn't a problem. It's their right. Refunds of unused portions are given. Occasionally, some people don't want to pay for the hours worked after hiring someone. To justify trying to get us to work for free, even after we gave her the full amount of refund that she originally requested, she now decides to slander us with statements that have nothing to do with her situation. After a full refund, for her changing her mind, what else does she want? I guess to blame others for her troubles.
