AirCon To The Rescue

It all started early monday morning, August 23rd, at approximately 5:30 A.M. My wife and I awoke to a hot and stuffy home. We had not slept well the entire night, not because of the A.C., but because my wife was 39 weeks pregnant and delivery was scheduled for early that day. My wife and I were stressed to say the least, but knowing this was something out of my control I reassured my wife and called the only A.C, company that deserves my speed dial; AirCon. I left a message on their emergency hotline and Leon called me back within 5-10 minutes. I had obviously woken him up but he was anxious to help. I explained our problem and that my mother was coming in from out of town to stay with my 2yr old son while we would be at the hospital. Leon said he would make sure we were his first stop and calmed me down with a best case scenario repair wise. Leon showed up as promised and the repairs were finished in about a hour and a half; this gave us plenty of time to catch our breath before going to the hospital. We welcomed baby Carter into our family a few hours later. The promises made and kept by AirCon and the honesty and professionalism shown by it's employees are why I recommend them to everyone. This extreme example shows what they do everyday. Thanks again to AirCon and Leon for coming to my families rescue.

Be confident with AirCon

We used AirCon previously for checkups and small repairs, when my parents a/c went out at teh start of summer, it was easy to refer them to AirCon. Little did we know that our a/c would go out a few months later - and it was AirCon to the rescue. They were quick, polite and professional.

AirCon did a great job

We found AirCon after our home warranty company kept having to come back to fix our air conditioner over the course of 3 to 4 years. We finally decided to get a new system and chose AirCon because we liked their service after they came out several times after the home warranty company couldn’t fix the problem. Sam gave us an estimate for a new system and we got 2 other proposals. Even though AirCon was not the cheapest, we knew they would give us good service so we went with them. The installers Joey and Mike were just super- they were so polite! We could tell they were concerned about doing a good job. They had extra trouble when the new unit wouldn’t fit and had to remove the attic steps to get it up there. They put everything back when they were done and Wayne even came out and put new molding on the steps of the attic ladder. They had put down nice new canvas to cover the floors and cleaned everything up when they finished. They even vacuumed the floors before they left. We were so pleased with AirCon that we recommended them to our son and Joey and Mike were able to install his system, too. We will definitely use AirCon again.

Great Service!

Aircon came out to my house to do a regular checkup and they were very prompt and professional. The technician took great care in making sure he didn't mess up our floors and put litte booties on his shoes. I have known the owners Derek and Kim for a a couple of years and have never heard one negative thing about their company. Their office staff is always very professional and courteous when I call. AirCon is my number one choice in A/C service, it should be yours too!

Excellent Service - Highly Recommended

I recently had a bad experience with a company, Certified House Cleaning, that specialized in carpet and air duct cleaning. They had to come out twice to complete the job because they had not properly sealed the plenum. Even after they came out for the second time, they did a poor job to seal the leak. At this point I decided to call AirCon to see if they could help me out. I recalled a friend of mine from church was working for AirCon and I decided to call her and tell her of my experience. She transferred my call to Derek, the manager, and he patiently listened to my dilema. He was very understanding and indicated he could send out a technician to assess the problem, at no cost to me. I received a call within 30 minutes of our conversation informing me that one of the technicians had a cancellation and could be at my house in 40 minutes. I met the technician and showed him where the leak was and the terrible taping job the Certified technician had done. He resealed the plenum and showed me that there was no longer any leaks. I later spoke to Derek and he provided suggestions on how to keep the mold from coming back.



Needless to say, I was very impressed with the owner and the personnel that work for him. They were all very courteous and professional in helping me out in my situation. I am sure I will come back to them for any other AC needs and plan on setting up a yearly maintenance agreement with them. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend AirCon for your AC service needs.

Prompt, Professional, Polite service

I met some of the folks at AirCon through mutual business friends who said good things about them so I decided to give them a try. I needed some routine non emergency service on one of my A/C systems. Their technician was punctual, professional and polite. He performed the service I needed in a timely manner and left the area where he worked clean.

I consider the price charged for the service rendered to be reasonable and was well satisfied with the overall experience I had with AirCon. In fact, I was impressed enough to sign up for their regular maintenance service so I will definitely be using them again.

Speedy Service!

On two occasions I've gone to Air-Con. The first time my business partner called me at 8 am to say he'd be late to work because his AC went out. I told him to call Air-Con and even with the heat of Houston and a full schedule they got to him that morning and took care of the AC. The second time was for my semi-annual maintenance.... they showed up on time and were very thorough and professional! They are my new AC/Heat "go-to" team!

Got the Job done right!

I had a worry that my air system was contaminated and I wanted to get it cleaned. I spoke with the owner of AirCon and he suggested that I might do well with a device that kills airborne bugs instead of a duct cleaning that may destroy my flexible ducts. He sent out his guy and said we will see what he finds. When the tech arrived he was polite and listened to my story. Then he looked at my system. Within a few minutes he found an issue that I was not aware of. A previous company had not reconnected all the ducts when they installed a new plenum. He showed me why I did not need the device that I was planning on having them install. In the end the cost of the duct repair was much cheaper than what I was planning on purchasing. AirCon is concerned about getting the job done right and not selling you the most expensive thing they can. The result of the fix was that my wife and kids started getting over there persistent colds immediately. I would recommend their services to anyone.

WOW!!

In mid-June of 2008, we had an 18 SEER 3T 410A Ruud System installed upstairs in our home to replace one of the old 10 SEER systems that were installed when the house was built. We knew we were saving on our energy bills but decided to pull out our records for 2007 and 2008 to make a month-by-month comparison to actually see the savings in the last six months of the year.



From July 2008 to January 2009, we used 5223 kwh less than we did from July 2007 to January 2008 and saved $734.07. That’s what upgrading one system from a 15 year old 10 SEER to a new 18 SEER system did for us.



In January of 2010 we added another brand new 18 SEER system downstairs and we've been very pleased with the reliability we have now. This summer we look forward to consistently cool temperatures in our home!
