Our furnace died during the coldest part of Jan. They came out, with space heaters, looked at the problem and had a replacement furnace in the next day. Miguel and his partner did a great job installing the new unit.

Daniel serviced our furnaces yesterday and did a great job. He was on time, which meant I could attend an appointment I had and leave him to it. He was very conscious about not bringing any snow into the house, explained everything that was going on and additionally tried to solve an additional unexpected issue. I would definitely recommend Daniel to other customers.

I had Bobby out to my office twice. He was friendly, prompt and very knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose, and fix, the issue fast. I would recommend him for your service calls.

Gary is the greatest service technician at Effective Air. We have been using him for almost 21 years since we lived in Glenview. While we have had other service technicians when Gary was unavailable, but he is by far the best one there. His expertise, professionalism, and customer service are a few of the reasons that we have been a loyal customer of Effective Air for almost 21 years. They are a reputable company who stand behind their work and their employees do their best to service your heating and air conditioning needs in a timely manner.

Effective Air redid our heating system. We needed a new furnace, but they ended up re-piping and re-wiring zones that had been added haphazardly and that weren't working properly. Now the heating system is working as it should. Miguel in particular did a great job.

We have lived in our Evanston home for 9 years, and Effective Air has serviced our heating and AC systems for all this time. Their prepaid program is a great value, and they are always prompt and efficient. Our technician Eric was very courteous, and explained everything fully. They helped us last May to set dampers to make the AC work better on the second floor, and it helped immensely. They are a great company and we will continue using them.

We used Effective Air for a second opinion on a sketchy and costly diagnosis from another HVAC company for our furnace. They came out same day to address the problem and had a technician there to correct it soon after. The tech, Gary, was wonderful. Professional, polite, extremely knowledgeable and able to effectively communicate with me. He not only negated the other company's misdiagnosis, but did very extensive testing to find the actual issues with my furnace. Testing I didn't even know existed in the 5 years I used this other company! I feel confident that my furnace is safe and will run well throughout this winter. I am so glad I called Effective Air! I might have had to replace my entire furnace for no reason.

My hot water heater began to leak, after a call to effective air, I received a quote for installation and removal of the old unit. The crew came out who very courteous, professional, and answered all questions I had about the job. Great experience, will use them again in the future.

I'm second generation doing business with Effective Air, and they continue to earn high praise. This most recent service call was just for the annual maintenance of my boiler, and once again, they came when promised, calling the day before to confirm, and then when the tech was on his way. Carlos is an exemplary tech, professional, courteous, efficient, good at explaining when necessary, and a great representative of a fine company.

Daniel arrived at the time that Ken had called to alert us about. He did a very thorough job inspecting our furnace and hot water heater, cleaned the filter, and explained everything he did. Very satisfied with his service.

Daniel was terrific! I could not get the furnace going. The house was 62 and dropping...I was freezing to say the least.I lucked out and Daniel was in the house working 2 1/2 hours before my estimated time frame of (1-3pm). My furnace had a strange little problem with the flue not staying open correctly that caused the furnace to not start. Daniel knew what to do and stayed long enough to make sure the problem was corrected. He is my go to guy at Effective Air.

I needed to get one of my scheduled visits for my furnace. I am a as a Service Partner customer of Effective Air. The service technician was Daniel. When he said he would be out there he wasright on time. I really appreciate that. All the things thata service technician should do he would do quietly and keep me informed.When he was done, I asked him about any future items about the furnace that I should consider doing not too late so it would not be a BIG problem. He did these changes and wrote them down for me.I hope that when I get future service, I get a greatservice technician lake Daniel.

I have been a client for over 7 years and come to depend and respect this company. Carlos came out today to check the boiler before the winter season. He was professional, friendly and arrived at the appointed time.

Carlos serviced our heating/cooling plant on 10/02/13. He set a standard for professional performance -- very knowledgeable, articulate, efficient and courteous. I wish more businesses could replicate his model.

I am on Effective Air Maintenance's Program and had my winter service today. Carlos took care of everything and walked me through all I needed to know for this winter'sheating. He showed me how to change my humidifier filter and showed me how to set my upstairs vents. I always feel well taken care of and know that Effective Air is always available if I need help throughout the year! I've been a long time customer and highly recommend their service.

This company is great, so glad I found them through a neighbor! I have used Eric in 2 houses in the past year and a half and have found him to be honest, knowledgeable, professional and pleasant too! The office staff that handles scheduling is great too. We've used Effective Air exclusively for 23 years in 5 different houses and have been completely satisfied each and every time. Bobby and Eric are fantastic technicians, the office staff is professional and Jon and Kim (the owners) operate a top-notch skilled, friendly, locally based business. I wouldn't consider using anyone else. We just had our ducts cleaned by Effective Air (it had never been done before - our bad!) and I can really tell the difference in the quality of the air in our home. Whether its a new HVAC system, hot water heater, system maintenance or duct cleaning, I highly recommend Effective Air.
