Provided by YP.comI dropped my laptop and afterwards it wouldn't turn on. I have all of my work info on it and talked to computer Aid about what I needed done. As it turns out my laptop was a loss but they were able to get my data and help me set up my new laptop. Computer Aid made my recovery dc's and also put the saved data from my old laptop to my new laptop. All of this in just a day and a half. Thank you Chuck and I will recommend you to everyone I know.

Provided by YP.comI bought a rebuilt computer from computer aid. Even though I bought it with no warren tee. After using it a couple days I could see something was not right. I called computer aid and he told me to bring it in so he could look at it. I was ready to fight a uphill fight but after him checking it out he did take it back willingly without me having to fight about it. At that point I decided to get another computer from him and pay the small difference and this one is working just great. Now I am giving computer aid 5 stars because he was easy to work with. He did not make any excuses about the computer and took it back after checking it out. He said he was sorry maybe 100 times and he never got pushy at any point. He could have told me no returns no refunds but he offered to recheck the computer and was honst when he called me and admitted that something was not right with it. I still got a great computer and his honesty made up for me having to go back to his shop with the computer. I try to shop local when I can and most don't deserve it. Computer aid is rare because they are completely honest and admitted a mistake.

Provided by YP.comChuck is the best! When a pop up came up on my laptop saying a fan wasn't working properly and it could harm my computer if I continued running it, I got out the yellow pages and found Chuck. He gave me an honest diagnosis and repaired it in only 2 days for much less than I anticipated paying. Now it works like new. I'll never use anyone else for computer repair. When I told my business partner about it, he decided to get Chuck to look at his laptop. So I'll take it over one day this week. I highly recommend Chuck for any computer repair.

Provided by YP.comI took a hard drive in and Chuck gave me a quote on doing a recovery on the drive. Two other places in Chattanooga said they couldn't do anything. The quote Chuck gave me I thought was high but I must say after checking online I found that his quote was really more than fair. So I took the drive back to him and he told me he would call me when he had something to report.
He called me the next day to tell me he had the data and the damage was not as bad as he thought and told me his revised price. Yes, after I agreed to the price he gave me to start with he said it would be much less because it was in better shape than he thought it would be. It is unheard of anyone lowering the price of a service after some one agreed to pay that price. Finding out that computer aid does all kinds of computer work and not just data recovery means I have a new company to do everything I need from now on. Everyone could take lessons from Chuck

Provided by YP.comComputer Aid has been the place I go to when I need a computer. I have bought 2 over time from Computer Aid. Never had any issues at all with them. But last week I got some viruses coming up. I called Computer Aid and when everything was done, he removed the viruses and even after it's been 2 years since I bought the computer he discounted removing the viruses. That is true service if you ask me.
I fully recomend Computer Aid to everyone and I don't recomend anyone , EVER. But Computer Aid is the exception.

Provided by YP.comI called 3 places about my laptop. I told them what was wrong and each one said it was the motherboard and that it was not worth fixing. Talk to computer Aid and he took his time and let me do some talking and he also said it was the motherboard. But since he let me talk some he knew my laptop was not a cheap wal mart laptop. So we decided that replacing the motherboard would be worth while. He replaced the board with the same board it came with and it has worked as if nothing ever happened. I am very happy with his workmanship but impressed with the fact that he listened to me. I recommend Computer Aid to everyone and I know you will be happy with him.

Provided by YP.comI bought a laptop from Computer Aid couple weeks back and I love this thing. It was used but after I used it a couple hours in his shop, yes he let me stay in his shop and play with it for 2 or 3 hours to make sure I liked it. This place is great and I will always be using Chuck for anything computer related. Thanks.

Provided by YP.comBeing accustomed to having a friend and a member of the family to take care of all my computer needs, I was unfamiliar with any of the local computer shops. Upon needing to explore other possibilities, I took my computer to the only local shop I had heard anything about. I will not mention the name of this shop, but it's located on North Ocoee St. They had my computer for 4 days and had not even opened the case to begin to find out what the problem was. Looking in the phone book, I came across the ad for Computer Aid. What caught my eye was the same day service. I spoke with Chuck on the phone that evening and took my computer to him the next day. He began checking it out that same day and was back in touch with me letting me know he found a problem with the mother board but wanted to do further checking to determine the extent of the damage. After determining the mother board was shot, we discussed my options of replacing the mother board and prices. Being an older, home-built system, and with the cost of a new mother board, I chose to get a used system from him rather than having mine repaired. I went to pick it up and he had me sit down and try it out to make sure I was happy with the performance before actually buying it. Chuck is very knowledgeable and professional. His prices are reasonable and he is great to do business with. He runs his business with his customer's best interests being his first priority. I am very happy with the computer I purchased from him and the overall experience with doing business with him. He now has me as a regular Computer Aid customer anytime I have a computer need and I will gladly reccommend him to anyone I know for their computer needs.

Provided by YP.comI was very impressed with what Chuck was able to recover off my bad drive. I called him on a Saturday not thinking we would be able to retrieve the data. I dropped it off that afternoon and gave him a very short deadline. I needed the drive back by Monday in order to keep my customer from melting down. Chuck found the data I needed and had it back to me by Monday afternoon. He saved my company from losing a very important customer.

Provided by YP.comi wasn't very happy when Chuck told me my hard drive was crased during an already difficult week. but he was very compassionate (and later I took note of that)about my situation, recognized where i was at financially and figured out the best way he could help. When ever i have been to computer aid, from the first time i had an issue to the times i called and sought help over the phone, Chuck was always reliable, friendly and right-on.so I am saying you can trust Chuck, if you take your computer to him, you'll be a happy camper!

Provided by YP.comThe powerjack on my laptop busted and fell into the black hole INSIDE my unit aka inside where all the techie - brains of your computer - aka motherboard stuff lies. Yes, the powerjack decided to hang out in there and didn't want to come out. Needless to say, I was devastated.
I called a few places to ask how much replacing the powerjack would be. I was told that I would pay approximately $250 and they couldn't guarantee they could fix the problem and I would probably have to spend money on a new motherboard. I'm not techie but I knew that would cost a pretty penny. Computer Aid however was able to fix my problem by replacing my powerjack for well under the $250 I was quoted by another 2 shops and Computer Aid did it in half the time the other shops told me and NO I didn't have to replace my motherboard. Chuck did however explain to me why this repair could run so much and no other shop was interested in explaining anything. Chuck even took up for the other shops by explaining to me why other shops charged what I was quoted. Computer Aid did the job, did it right and showed they care. Now Computer Aid is my only computer shop.

Provided by YP.comMy hard drive failed and I lost a great deal of data that was critically important. I found Computer-Aid on Google and was really happy to find someone able to perform the work locally. I was working against a deadline and did not have the time to ship my drive accross the country and wait. Just the though made me nervous! Computer-Aid was knowledgeable, efficient, and professional in every regard. It was totally refreshing to do business with such a company. I recommend them for their knowledge, honesty, fairness, and integrity.

Provided by YP.comI am a network security administrator and found Chuck at Computer Aid very helpful in helping me track down a certain security flaw in our system. Our company is mid sized and it is up to me and my assistant to keep things going smooth for the owner. Our system had been undergoing a number of attacks recently and it was very nice to find computer aid with Chucks credentials willing to step in and aid us in not only stopping the attacks but also in helping us track down enough info to put this idiot in cuffs. I guess that is why the company is named Computer AID.
