Recently stayed at this Best Western for a week while on business travel. Overall it was a very nice place. We were warmly greeted at check in, given cookies, and were offered help with our luggage. The hotel provides free breakfast each day, which was actually better than most, very good coffee, free wifi and parking. The weather was cold so we did not have the opportunity to use the very nice pool that was closed for the season. The room itself was extremely clean. A refrig, microwave and coffee maker were included.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Overall, the value is fantastic. Very nice rooms, a great all you can eat breakfast, and friendly/professional staff. While the rooms are dated, they are very clean and have all of the typical hotel amenities. The breakfast is outstanding and offers much more than the typical hotel breakfast of cereal, fruit, and coffee. I would return to this hotel again and highly recommend it. Best overall value in the area.

Very clean, and the staff was friendly. Good price. I would stay again. Great location. Near shopping, DC, the courthouse. Good places to eat nearby. The bed was a little too firm. Not too bad-- just not as soft as I would like. The pool looked nice, but it was a little to cold to try it out! Breakfast was great too.

Have been very happy with this hotel in terms of excellent customer service. Am getting good corporate rates that make my stay in Fairfax affordable for my business.

We paid for a King, and were upgraded to a suite, great room, bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and professional, both when we checked in and out. The breakfast was above average for a BW, hot food, donuts, oj, good coffee. Only here for 1 night, but it was within walking distance of a couple of places to eat as well.

This is our second time to stay at Best Western Fairfax. The room was very comfortable and clean. Our room was right across from the pool which was great for our 11 ans 12 year old grandkids.

Gloria kept the breakfast buffet well stocked and the food was great. This was a huge plus before we made our daily trips into DC.

Paul and Sandra behind the desk gave us great service and provided all the tips we needed to catch the bus infront and riding the Metro.

We are planning another trip next year with another pair of grandkids and will make Best Western Fairfax our base of operations.

. The Staff, the Hotel, the Accommodations, the Breakfast all were perfect and would expect no less from the Best Western. I have stayed at the Best Western Fairfax in 3 day increments over 6 times in the last year and We stayed at the Best Western Fairfax for 6 weeks in 2012 during the sale of our home. They made us feel like we were family and the staff still remembers our name. When I need a Hotel in Northern Virginia...there is only one place that I will stay and that is the Best Western in Fairfax.

This was our second stay with this hotel and, again, we were not disappointed. If you hate Washington traffic as we do, this is a great place to stay. The bus line has stops on the street in front of the hotel that go to the Vienna Metro station. From there, you can go to any of the Metro stations and one of them will get you at least fairly close to your destination. There will probably be some walking involved, especially if you're visiting buildings and monuments on the Mall, but we think that's much better than fighting DC traffic. The hotel staff is always courteous and helpful, and we've not had a problem with room cleanliness during either stay. It's so nice to have a hot breakfast to start your day, and the food is good with enough choices to suite most anyone.

Everyone on duty, both at the front desk and in the dining area, was super nice and very professional. We were more than happy with the service we received at every level. In addition, the entrance into the front desk area with its sitting room area was homey and gave off a really nice welcoming vibe. Our whole stay was a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. The location, set in among a lovely set of trees and foliage, was particularly beautiful and gave a wonderful sense of quiet and calm. Our room was on the ground floor facing the pool and, as I have a disability that requires a handicap tag, we were able to park immediately in the handicap space in front of the passageway with just a short walk to our door. The room itself was perfect; the beds were super comfortable and everything worked just fine. The sense of quiet and calm we had noted in the setting itself continued into the room and gave us a wonderful sense of security. The whole experience was one of the very best I have ever encountered in a hotel and felt like a real "home away from home." I would most definitely visit this hotel again if we should have occasion at any time to be in the area. Best Western Fairfax is a real find and a new favorite!

Extremely helpful when our extended family needed a place to gather for a memorial service. A block of rooms was provided at an excellent price, along with a private reception area to gather following the service. Lovely pool.

This hotel continues to be the best value in the area. Surrounded by hotels that cost much more and provide no more value, this Best Western continues to shine. I have stayed at this hotel many times for business. Consistent value, friendly staff, free WI-FI, and a large free breakfast. While the bathrooms may be dated, they are clean and functional. Each time I visit Vienna Virginia I make sure to stay at this hotel.

I have stayed at other Best Westerns nation wide and I must say that this was my best experience. I was welcomed by very friendly staff who checked me in promptly and was knowledgable in all the areas restaurants and transportation. I was welcomed to a very clean room with a beautiful pool side view. I was there for 3 days for the cherry blossom parade and each day was a peaceful and comfortable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and i was very surprised to walk into a fabulous buffet breakfast that I have not experienced at higher end hotels that I have stayed at. I will certainly stay there again when my travels bring me to Washington DC.

We chose this motel for the location because we were attending a funeral service in Culpeper, VA, visiting relatives in Winchester, VA, DC & Bethesda, MD plus wanted to see some of the DC attractions. We stayed 4 nights and interfaced with at least 6 different staff members, including front desk, cleaning and restaurant personnel; all were superb. I feel like we hit the jackpot. I'm rating this based on the price and excellent service;

Reasons we will return:

• The breakfast was the standard fare but was hot and ready.

• Although older, the rooms were clean and very quiet with great mattress & pillows.

• Bus Stop across the street to take you to DC Metro station.

• Close access to Interstate 66.

• Staff is very knowledgeable on giving accurate directions for area travel.

• Reasonable price for being this close to DC.

• Nice Pool area.

Used a travel coupon. Wonderful stay, terrific personnel. An older motel that has a caring staff and ownership. Loved the breakfast. If you are staying in the Washington DC/Northern Virginia area this is a must stay motel.

We had our 50th high school reunion mid October 2013 and it was commented by many classmates to “be our best reunion”. We had Hors dousers Saturday evening and a lunch Sunday that was prepared by Best Western at a very reasonable price. The delicious food for both occasions was presented by the very accommodating and professional staff. The room was perfect and accommodated round tables that were set up for 90 persons with still plenty of room for the buffet, soft drink table and attended bar . Many of the classmates took advantage of the special rates for staying at the motel. Previously our every five year reunions were held in the Tysons Corner area. The location was excellent for getting into DC. The staff was helpful and curteous. The room was clean and comfortable. Upon discovering that we needed another night to see DC sights, we called to add a night, the staff was most curteous and able to accomodate us.

We had a wonderful experience. The location was very convenient. The price was more than reasonable, the property was well kept, the room was clean and inviting, breakfast was AMAZING and the staff was super - definitely would stay at again if in the area.

We loved the buffet. The restaurant manager Joel was great. Gloria did a great job. Front desk staff was very attentive. Room was very comfortable with great bed. Will stay here again. Housekeeping did a great job in keeping our room clean. Thank you for a wonderfull stay.

Last week I was visiting my brother in Fairfax, VA from Minnesota. He recommended me this Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at the amenities offered by the hotel. The property is very well maintained. There is plenty of free parking, the rooms are clean and spacious. The lobby area was very well decorated and looked sparkling. The buffet breakfast is awesome and the best I have ever had. There is a large selection of hot and cold items to choose from. The restaurant and front desk staff were extremely courteous and professional and went out of their way to make sure my stay was enjoyable. Overall, I was very satisfied and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel staff was one of the best I have met. The beds were a little hard but not a reason not to visit again. The hotel was very clean and easily located to D.C. and Dulles airport. The breakfast was good and had a nice view and friendly staff. The hotel has a restaurant attached for convenience and was close to the metro and buses.
