An excellent experience

A loyal National customer for 15 years, travel only a few times a year and rent only 2 or 3 times a year. This was my first problem, but due to the exceptional professionalism of the staff/manager of the Denver staff my issue was solved in a way that I can say exceeded expectations. Will continue as a satisfied customer of National, the best of the rental car companies I believe

I had a wonderful experience from making my reservation online to picking out my vehicle, which was very clean, and Celeste at the checkout was very friendly and helpful and didn't pressure me on selling additional items. When I returned the vehicle Jasmine and Mark were very courteous and helpful with changing my payment option. I definitely recommend going through National.

My rental was out of Denver Airport. Their car wash was down, or so they said so they didn't wash the exterior of the vehicle. It was covered in mud and dried salt. I could not see out of the mirrors and the rear camera was caked. I went straight to a gas station to attempt to clean off the mirrors. This was my first bad experience, but it was still bad.



I should also state that I am an Emerald Club Exec.

The Emerald Aisle process was very smooth; however, I need to take off a star since the exit booth attendant applied pre-paid fuel without asking and even though my reservation declined it. The intake attendant did an excellent job correcting that and explaining the situation.

Very good service and I like the Emerald Isle approach. The front desk helped me "upgrade" my fixed price rental to a larger vehicle. The vehicle itself was in very clean condition although there was some spillage in on of the center console compartments from a prior use, a a couple of minor scuffs to the paint. I will be using them again.

Their cost are very affordable and their Emerald Isle is unbeatable. I wont rent anywhere else! In and out of the parking lot in less than 5 minutes whether I'm checking in or out. I'd rate 6 stars, but it wont let me ;)

Very prompt van service, good selection with the Emerald Aisle cars, They even remembered to include a snow brush in the car given that we rented in the winter. Return was easy and quick. Only minot problem was that the lens for the backup camera was dirty and had to be cleaned before it would work

Horrible experience. I am an Executive Elite Emerald Club member. I tried to make a reservation for a full size SUV, but they were not available on the website, so I made the reservation for a standard SUV. I really needed a FULL Size since one of my guests is 7'2" tall. When I got to the Executive aisle there were none, but I could see several suburbans and Yukons off to the left so I asked if I could take one. I was told NO. I asked for a manager. I was attended by a Manager named, Ms. Mirela Oruc. She had it within her authority to make me a satisfied customer and instead told me that I would need to pay the upgrade to a Lincoln Navigator. She explained that they needed those suburbans for the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday. I explained that I would be returning the car in 24 hours well before the holiday crowd began. She refused. I was shocked that the upgrade price was going to go from $79 to $239 for 1 day. I choose to take the smaller vehicle and have everyone be uncomfortable and tell everyone I know how bad a manager this lady is. When I returned the car again I was shocked that the price for rental was $79 but the fee for 2 hours late was an additional $68. This location consistently has the dirtiest cars of all the National Car Rental locations I use. Poorly managed. I am forced by my company to use National, so I guess I;m stuck, but NOT happy about it.

Excellent Customer Service! I lost my driver's license at the airport but the National staff helped me renew online so I could still rent a vehicle. Due to a cancelled flight I would have been stuck in Denver for days!

I am an Emerald Club member and I like the way they allow you to choose the vehicle you want to drive from what is available in the lot, I don't even have to stop by the counter, just get the car and go to the exit, very convenient, very efficient, I will always choose National.

great service in Denver and Albuquerque. I greatly appreciate the ability to pick out a car from the ones available. Easy check-in and out. Both airports had good shuttle service.



Only thing I would ask for is to clean the inside of the windshields.

Picked up a 2014 Jetta at DIA---car had no mats and was clean inside but did not appear to have been washed on the exterior. Drove into LoDo to meet a client for lunch and the thermostat/water temp light came on. I called National and they offered to either have me wait for a wrecker for a couple of hours or turn the car in at a Broadway location for a Chrysler 200 (ugh). I had back to back meetings so I opted to just drive the car and take my chances. Luckily, it seemed to be a sensor or a low coolant level because it never did go "full boil" on me. I drove the car for the next three days and it intermittently alarmed (even on start-up when it was cold). The one thing you count on when you rent a car is reliability---in this case it was a minor irritation but National should be more concerned about regular maintenance.

Great experience! We booked the car by the website using a discount code... It took us more time choosing the car because of all the options they had (full size car) than the paperwork... really fast, really good & new cars... droping it off was instantly! It was the first time I rented a car, I was recommended to go for Enterprise but after serching a bit, National is the same group as Enterprise and they have better prices... We rented the car in Denver Airport, great people there!
