Dr. Shaw is great! He is very knowledgeable and his diagnosis and treatment are extremely thorough. He really takes time to determine the root of the problem before he makes recommendations. My calf pain is so much better after seeing him and following his suggestions.

I have seen Dr. Shaw for over two years off and on for a variety of issues stemming from running. He is extremely well-versed on the Active Release Technique, which I found to be the most helpful. Additionally, few chiropractors practice A.R.T. as they need to be specifically trained. Over the two years that I saw Dr. Shaw, he helped relieve several issues ranging from plantar fasciitis to a stuck psoas muscle to sciatic nerve pain that radiated down one of my legs. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable chiropractor who does not practice a cookie-cutter approach. He also helped my husband with plantar fasciitis by using the Graston technique. He is deeply missed by a plethora of Virginians!
