This happened to me 3 months a...

This happened to me 3 months ago and I waited to post this review until I felt confident that all was above board. I was skeptical at first to let yet another AC company check my unit and I was ready for the usual sales pitch. But to my surprise, they did the check up as promised and although my unit is 7 yrs. old, the technician only suggested that I get some kind of light to cut down on the mold. He did not pressure me. As I said no not as this time, he asked for my email address so I could get their monthly newsletter which would give me tips and info for my system. I have received 2 newsletter and the last one was a big help. As I am on a fixed income I really will try turning my ceiling fans on to see if it saves me money. Thanks for being to kind to an old lady.

This company is great. The experience I received from their service provided is #1, from the customer service representative, to the technician, to the installers was emmalucate and overwhelming wonderful. We enjoy our new unit and can't wait until winter to use the new heating component. Great job World Class!

I have to say that this is the...

I have to say that this is the most dishonest company I have had work on my unit. They called me about a special for $35.00 and I accepted--- what a mistake. The service man that came out was either high or drunk. I could not tell which. Within 5 minutes of him checking my unit, he said I had mold and other crap in my unit. He said that he could not really say it was mold cause he would get in trouble but he said - YOU HAVE MOLD.



He said that I would have to get some special light or whatever for my part in the house. He kept calling someone on a cell phone and then asked to us my house phone. At this point I didn't want the drugged out loser in my house much less using my phone. So, he said he had to call his boss, he did on speaker phone and the guy on the phone was saying the whole time.... this lady does not want to protect her unit.. why would she not want to? Does she have someone that helps make her decisions? I have been widowed for 15 years... I dont need anyones help with work that needs to be done on my house.



I ended up having to tell the service guy (Chris) to get out of my house. He was just trying to sell me something. What a waste of $35.00. If you want to spend $35.00 on having someone come out and try to sell you something, go right ahead. Other companies actual do that for FREE!



My thoughts are that the company is just trying to get in your house to sell you something. I have had used car saleman that were better than the "service tech" I had. And I looked up that light he was trying to sell me for $1300.00 --- It cost only $150.00 and one company will put it in for $196.00 plus the cost of the light....



What a scam this company is .... a total rip off.... and a waste of my time

World Class Heating-WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Called me with a special promotion, which I accepted. Came to my house to do the service/cleaning (which they never completed, instead this idiot spent more time trying to up sell me ($3000 worth of services which I didn't need), While at my house he kept calling their office getting pricing and then kept trying to get me to commit to having all this unnecessary work done..."if you dont agree to this pricing now and want it tomorrow our call center sales people will charge you more, etc, etc.. A month later they tried to sell me on the same promo. I explained my past experience with them and didn't want to receive calls from them ever again. They still continue to call me even though I blast them every time. Long story short avoid doing business with these people at all cost.

Rude, Un-Professional - Don't Call These People

Right from the start, I was met with rudeness in dealing with this establishment. These people made me feel very uncomfortable as they proceeded to treat me in a condescending and arrogant manner.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. You don't want people like this in or around your home.

Although I have not utilized this company, my elderly parents almost did. They had received a phonecall ("cold call") from a representative offering their services at an exact time that their AC unit was not working properly. Therefore, they took them up on their offer and had them come out to look at the unit. They received a very high estimate and was told that their coil was broken (of course, one of the most expensive parts of an AC). My parents were a bit skeptical for two reasons:

1.)The AC unit was only 2 years old and coils rarely break that quickly.

2.) The estimate was very high, even for a broken coil.



On top of this, they also had an "uneasy" feeling about the technician while he was there. They called me and asked me to do some research on this company. Since I do not believe that reputable companies should ever have to "cold call," it was the 1st red flag for me. (Reputable companies work on word-of-mouth and referrals, but telemarketing).



Secondly, I cannot find a website for this company. Finally, the negative review was my last straw. I located a company with excellent reviews and a professional website for my parents to use. My parents then called this company to cancel and was given a horrific attitude on the phone, which eventually led my father to threaten to call the Attorney General.



Bottom line is that there are a number of companies out there. There is no need to choose one such as this.

A company couldnt survive on word of mouth 80% of ac companies today use telemarketing to get business for the record ac systems often have problem in first couple yrs just like cars nothing new

My parents have unfortunately become victims of an unscrupulous air conditioning and heating company. Since coming in contact with World Class Heating and Cooling my parents have incurred approximately $4000.00 in expenses related to the installation of a used heat pump. Although the need for the installation of the heat pump, at a cost of $2,700.00, was questionable to me, it has not been the issue I have been hoping to resolve.



This heat pump did not function properly from initial installation. Incorrect wiring caused an excessive amount of power to be used. The bill mailed in the month of June was for an amount of $557.00. That is more than five times greater than June of 2008. Also, because of the wiring the heat pump was unable to cool the house once the temperatures increased. Two service calls by World Class failed to make proper repairs. In addition, even though the unit was under warranty, they charged my parents $165.00 for one of the calls. More disturbing, is that on each call they attempted to sell my parents additional expensive equipment. At one point they pressed my father to purchase a new unit for $5,950.00.



Once I became involved I hired a company to make the repairs. In quick time they discovered the problem and the heat pump has functioned properly since.



I hoped to resolve this with the help of the Better Business Bureau, but an acceptable resolution was not obtained. World Class will not accept any responsibility because another company sticker is on the unit. They believe that exonerates them from any malfunctioning of the heat pump.

World Class pulls a permit on all ac installations if there had been a problem with installation the inspector would have found it during his final inspection that's the purpose of pulling permits customer alleges another company fixed problem but doesn't say what problem was sounds like possible exemployee
