I took my dog in on a Monday after a day of being lethargic and they did labs and sent us home. the next day my dogs ears were freezing so I took her in again and she was put on an IV and sent home. After a few days being on an IV she was not getting better. I took her in on a saturday because she seemed to have been getting worse and was still cold. It was near closing time and they were irritated and rushed through everything. They did an ultrasound and didnt see anything. They then did a Barium study but not a full one. I asked how i will know if it passes and I was told to look when she defecated, If its white then good. She never defecated. that night she died. It turns out she had something stuck in her stomach that wouldnt pass. If they would have taken their time and did a complete barium study she would have gotten surgery and been alive. I would not reccomend this vet to anyone unless you want to be rushed out without complete care.

I have been going to the Animal Doctor for 3 years. The staff has always been gracious and gone out of their way for anything my Airedale Terrier needs. Melissa, the groomer, is great! I have taken my Airedale to at least 6 groomers in the past years and she has surpassed my expectation for show-grooming and/or artistic grooming. I highly recommend the Animal Doctor.

I have been taking my rabbits to The Animal Doctor for 7 years. Dr. Guerrera is the best Lapine vet around - probably nationally! He is compassionate, humble and just the greatest. The front office staff is very friendly and helpful - Ginger, Jordan - everyone. Take your Rabbits there.

When we did research about the veterinary practices iin our area we chose the Animal Doctor and we been very happy with the doctors who have treated our dogs as well as all of the clinical and front desk staff. Over a year ago we adopted a dog from a shelter and the day after the adoption, Dr. Stuart (the best ever!) diagnosed his heart murmur, cancer and really bad teeth. Our little guy underwent surgery and came out just fine. Two weeks after his surgery, he had pancreatitis and two weeks after that, Dr. Stuart discovered that he was allergic to the food we'd been giving him. Needless to say, the staff got to know us and our new little guy and they greet us with warmth and care every time we come in. They answer all our ridiculous questions every time we call with the same care and concern. We are so happy to have found a veterinary practice where the staff are caring, kind and exceptionally clincally skilled.

I've been taking my pets to Katie Knepler at the Animal doctor for many years now. She is simply the BEST and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a vet. Katie is compassionate, thorough and cost conscious. She always tells me what steps need to be taken and details out the most cost effective plan to get the job done. Katie was with me when I lost my two 19 year old cats and my 14 year old dog all in a six month period. She was perfect. Katie always knew exactly what to say and how to work with my elderly pets who were so dear to my heart. The entire staff at the Animal Doctor is exceptional. They're professional, upbeat, caring, dependable and very responsive. I'm always greeted with a smile and receive exceptional care from every doctor in the practice. Thank you for everything!!

They have been both dedicated and compassionate in the care of our brood of animals over the past 14 years.Bill Guerrera is not only one of the best exotics vets in the country, but he has a heart of gold and a passion that he brings to his work. He has nursed many of our birds back to health, even when we thought we would lose them for sure. He is no less than amazing.For a year and a half, one of our dogs bravely battled lymphoma – and Katie Kneppler was by her side and supporting us every step of the way. I couldn’t have asked for better care.The rest of the staff is friendly, and more importantly supportive. You can just tell how much they care about everyone that walks in the door.I hope this review provides encouragement for others to experience The Animal Doctor for themselves. If I could give them 20 stars, I would.

Between my rescue work and my menagerie of animals at home, I have been visiting the Animal Doctor on almost a weekly basis since 2006. I can attest that the staff at the front desk has been consistently delightful. They are friendly, helpful and genuinely care about their clients. I have NEVER had a negative interaction with the front desk staff (or anyone else at this clinic) and have regularly witnessed them bending over backwards to accommodate ALL of their clients even during multiple, simultaneous emergencies.All of the vets are highly skilled and caring and the technicians are unbelievably patient and gentle with their patients. I regularly refer the Animal Doctor to anyone and everyone who asks me about where I take my pets. I assure people that their animals could not be in better hands.I have been involved with all kinds of animal rescue work for over twenty years and I am grateful every day for the staff at the Animal Doctor for all that they do.

We have been using them for over 9 years. My dogs and cat are the world to us. I know I can always count on them whenever anything comes up. ( and they always do ) They treat mine as their own. The best anywhere in Colorado. They know just what they are doing and fast at that. Thank you for always being there for my little sweet ones.

I have three dogs cared for by the Animal Doctor staff. Everyone has always been professional, caring and very helpful. Each of my dogs has been spayed or neutered, and I can speak only great things about the experience, especially in helping me understand and follow through on how to best care for my pets after surgery. I have seen several of the Docs there and have found them all to be extremely knowledgeable, and compassionate. I have also boarded my dogs there, and have no complaints.

Our family has been taking our pets to the Animal Doctor for around 20 years and will never take them anywhere else. We are so confident that when we take our pets to them they will be treated great. The attention, care and concern they have always shown our furry family from check ups to surgeries keep us coming back. We have and will continue to refer our friends to the Animal Doctor.

I love this Vet clinic. They are extremely nice and always make me feel that my animals are extremely important. The staff and my vet is the best I have come across. If you want top notch service and great care for your animals you can't go wrong here.

This was the rudest most overpriced clinic around!!!! Cost me 66 bucks for a FECAL and another 22 for antibiotics!!! which turns out my dog DIDNT need!!!! Thanks DR. Kneppler!!! when I called and asked to speak to the Dr. the front desk was terribly rude!!! left me on hold forever! Then i couldn't even get the Dr. to call me back! some vet tec. called was unable to answer my questions and again rude!!! Not even sure she knew what she was talking about!! IDIOTS! Worst hospital EVER!! i recommend Dr.Bixel at Laurel. Reasonably priced and kind! plus he actually calls you back!

This was the rudest hospital ever!!!! Suoer expensive too!! I over hears the blonde girl at the front desk praying on the phone to sombody who she seemed to not know (gathering the conversation). Unbelievable!!!!! Then after that i could not get my Dr. Kneppler) to call me back!! i wonder if the rude front desk staff even gave her the message to be honest. Will NEVER go back!!!!!

Nothing Bad about the way they treated my dog just that the staff has always been disagreeable the 3 times I have been in the office, Like it is a bother. I could of had an emergency on time and I was ,,told they were getting ready to close,, I was standing in the lobby with my dog, You will have to go to an emergency after hours clinic. It was 1/2 hour prior to close.I will never return,

Dave Seivers has been the Vet for my horses for over 25 years, maybe more, I've lost count. The Animal Doctor has also cared for my dogs and cats for the same length of time. The service is exlellent and highly recommended.
