After learning that a close family member was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, I made an appointment at UPNT to see Dr. Bevan-Thomas to get checked. To my dismay after going through the necessary testing procedures, my diagnosis came back as stage 2. Dr. BT took the time to clearly go over the diagnosis and treatment options. My first instinct was active surveillance but he made it understandable that was not an alternative in my case. So, I decided to have a prostatectomy instead of radiation.
Dr. BT gets it. From his excellent treatment, curiosity, investigative mind and ability to connect, you know where you stand immediately and what next steps look like.
Now in my second year after the surgery, I am living a normal life prostate cancer free. My gratitude to Dr. BT and his staff for the favorably outcome.
I would highly recommend Dr. Bevan-Thomas and UPNT to others.

I had a Urolift three weeks ago. Prior to Urolift I was getting up at night six to ten times. After Urolift I only get up twice at night. If I take a sleeping pill I sleep all night. I highly recommend the Urolift procedure. Dr. Bevin-Thomas is awesome.

When I was first diagnosed with prostate cancer I committed myself to researching all my options. I decided on surgery and started looking for what I thought was my best option at beating this. First off I didn’t really understand what prostate was but after me and the doctor talk he really change my mind because going to a catheter till knowing I could have problems with my kidneys too this green laser surgery have been good even though I trust in god and the ones that made this happen the staff was good and by it’s been my first time he’s is the one with gud advice I’m doing awesome and as the days goes by I can say thank y’all and what and all y’all professionally go there it will change your life

I was having increasing difficulty with BPH. Dr Bevan-Thomas recommend the Green Light Laser procedure for my particular situation. The procedure went very well with only a minimal amount of discomfort and very little pain.
I’m now 9 months post surgery, and the results have been great. My BPH symptoms have disappeared and as a bonus my PSA has dropped considerably.

Dr. Bevan-Thomas is a brilliant surgeon and an extremely approachable human being. When I was in his presence, he made me feel as if I was the only patient in the world. He explained difficult things in an understandable fashion and took the time to make sure that all of the questions I had were addressed. I felt completely at ease going into a complicated surgery and knew that the "best of the best" doctors was operating on me. I have a world of respect for this man and his abilities.

When I went in for my annual visit, Dr Bevan-Thomas recommended the Urolift procedure to alleviate my frequent going to the bathroom, I was having to go more than 5 times after going to bed every night. I agreed to the procedure and now 3 weeks later I’m havin to get up once during the night. I’m now getting the best night sleep that I’ve had in years, if you are considering this Urolift procedure, do it it really works for me

Dr. Bevan and the nurses were very helpful and professional. They were knowledgeable, also they didn’t have me waiting long. I had to pay out of pocket for the procedure. They were able to make it very affordable. I will refer them to all of my acquaintances.

Very pleased with the emphasis of treatment best suited to my personal need and the follow up plan used. The choice of cryosurgery proved very beneficial and significant to my continued quality of life.

I particularly appreciate the fact that Dr. Bevan-Thomas is aware of the impact of nutrition and other lifestyle choices on both the quality of my life and the impact on my overall health. I get much more from him than just the standard of care.
