This place is just awesome. Excellent prices, customer service and extremely knowledgeable in this business. Far superior to any other business in Albuquerqure and New Mexico! Honest, trustworthy and willing to teach you about the equipment. If you tell them the job you are trying to do they will make sure you get the right piece of equipment , educate you on it, make sure you follow manufacturer instructions and maintenance. Which we all know is extremely important!!

If you want a long trustworthy relationship with a replicable company this is the place for sure!



This business has moved to 337 Eubank Blvd NE 505-884-6262 or 505-884-6263 And is up and running. I was mislead by the address on this page as finding business.



This shop is the best in town, honest, trustworthy and direct. They have many years of experience and know what they are talking about. I was in the store and noticed a customer who tried to get something for nothing. In my experience those are the ones who write bad reviews.

If you want excellent, honest and exceptional customer service this is the place to go !!!


Terrible prices and incredibly rude

I spoke on the phone with Angel about a discrepancy with my order (that cost my family several hundred extra dollars) and I had a few questions. She quickly becaame frazzled and began to yell, and I ended up speaking with the owner, Abe, who complained that they can't charge customers for just talking to them. On top of that, it is much cheaper to just go to Aragon, where the prices are much cheaper and the staff is far friendlier.

tl;dr: They took advantage of an old man and refused to even apologize, much less make things right.

Here's my story.
My grandfather has been taking blades and lawn equipment to this business for years, and he really liked them. A few weeks ago, he called to have his lawnmower picked up so they could replace a wheel. This shouldn't cost over 60 dollars, 100 at the most.

Two weeks later, he called to see when it would be ready. This shouldn't be a very disrespectful thing to do, but apparently this really frustrated the owner, Abe. He was told that his "General Service Repair" would be done shortly, and that they would get to his wheel next. This is rather odd, as he didn't ask for a general service repair, he just wanted them to fix his wheel. They say that it had been written down on a sheet of paper that hadn't ever been shown to him (until much later, when his family got involved), and that it was his word against theirs.

He told us about the situation, and we decided to contact them to see what was going on. The reason we trusted him over the store owners, even though he is very old, is because he told us the day before that he was calling to just get a wheel fixed. We have been mowing his lawn pretty regularly up until then, and haven't had any issues with the actual mower.

When we contacted them, they grew meaner and meaner. I got involved, as the situation felt like they were trying to take advantage of him, and they finally agreed to have a meeting with us.

When we met, they started out by telling us what a great job they had done fixing the mower up. We explained that we didn't want that work, and he had only asked to fix the wheel. They grew angry, began yelling, and the owner, Abe, left mid meeting in a rage. All we wanted was an apology, and instead we got screamed at and called names. If you want blades sharpened, try Precision, and if you need lawnmower repairs, go to Aragon. Both are cheaper, and they are much nicer.

At K&S they do provide excellent customer service and are the best priced shop in town. All they need is your make and model number in order to service your equipment properly. They give you the information to maintain your equipment and answer your questions all you have to do is be willing to listen.
They have many years of experience and they are very skilled in their job



I had the pleasure of finding this business. This business is just awesome and OPEN. They are very professional and very knowledgeable. All they ask from their customers is a make and model number before you call or come in so they can answer your questions correctly.

They far beat any of the competition I visited and they guarantee the work if you follow their instructions.

If you pay attention they teach you how to maintain your equipment. Just awesome.

Great job guys and thank you for your time and help.

I will be returning for all my lawn equipment needs.

Rude condescending staff. They claim to give wholesale pricing on parts but they are in fact higher than anyone else. Now they have a cute little sign saying they will charge for writing up an invoice whether the customer uses them or not. Worst service in ABQ.

Worst repair/service center in town. They cant sell you the correct parts for your chainsaw and take them back when you realize the parts dont fit/work. But, they will offer to take them back if you pay them another $10 for their mistake. Will never walk-in to this poor excuse for a business again. Buyer beware!!!


Great customer service

I recently had K&S pick up my lawn mower for overhaul . Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating.My mower is running better than ever. I am very pleased.


Customer Service?

After several years and paying several hundred dollars in services and new equipment, K & S will see me no more. The owner is very condescending and treats customers as a nuisance. " We do not give status on service until after two weeks...I can't baby sit your equipment" There are plenty of shops like this in Abq that still know the value of providing excellent service while providing good customer. Unless you like being treated like an idiot, go somewhere else.



Friendly staff that fixed my mower on time. Abe has always been nice to deal with. I would recommend my friends any time they had an engine to be repair.



From the start I should have know that I was going to receive terrible service when meeting the staff. They have rude attitudes and are elitists. They will treat customers like they are idiots and run a loose ship. Not only was I incorrectly told my mower was done but they did not even apologize. Then I was given an estimate of 120-140... Which they did not meet. I was overcharged and it was because they did work I didn't bring it in for. They were supposed to just fix the engine, but I got it back with appearance modifications and other unneeded services. I will never go back nor would I allow anyone I know to go there either. Much of the other comments about rude servers or costs are ENTIRELY correct.



K&S fixed my older push mowerpromptly and at a resonable price. I now runs really well.


Custimer service

Had a chain saw chain sharpened and although it was sharp, they didn't clean the chain at all. Lot them about it and he said nope, just sharpen. For 410 I said I would be bringing it back and he said "thats fine". Guess they make enough off of everything else that sharpening saw blades is of little interest. Hence the one star.

Great service! They have fixed my lawn equipment for many years. Abe has been very helpful to me. It's much appreciated.

Awesome Staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had brought my uncle saw to get service not knowing just trying to help out when i walked into the shop they greeted me and was very welcoming and gave me alot of helpful information so when i had walked out i knew that i had brought it to a good place. They returned it in a timely matter and reasonable price. The saw runs great. I came all the way from down north about a 3 hr drive and would make the drive again because I felt comfortable and will give them the business and recomend to anyone that needs something fix.


Horrible customer service with K AND S

Called to see if they had a product I had found at Home Depot wondering if they would price match. Without even asking the model and with total disdain for his customer, Carl the person who answered, without hesitation told me no and go back to home depot. I would never shop here or recommend anyone to go there as they are extremely rude and unaccomodating. With customer service like this it is no wonder why mom and pop shops are going out of business at an alarming rate.



long hair stinky man has returned to front counter. They call him Ron he will rip you off every chance he gets.check you phone book first for local dealers and prices.remember the name RON with long gray hair and bad body odor.
