We would most certainly recommend Mr. Barr (Barr Roofing)
We first contacted him to repair our new metal roof, which leaked after being installed by a "so called metal roof installer". Repaired in one day.
We then contacted him to install a new roof on our garage, which he did after replacing rotten boards,rafter ends, etc.
He also installed a 15'x20' roof on or outside deck, and installed new aluminum guttering on the deck and our house.
Martin is a stand up guy, and stands behind his work.
We would recommend Martin and his crew.

On April 8, 2015 my home was damaged by hail. The hail busted thru my sun tubes, dented siding, gutters and vent covers, tore window screens and damaged the shingles. When looking for someone to replace my sun tubes I ran across an ad for Barr Roofing. I contacted Martin, the owner, and he was at my house within the hour of the initial call. He assessed the damage and gave me an estimate for all the repairs. As they began making repairs his crew noticed that the roof was sagging over the front porch by 6 inches causing my gutters to not function property. His crew fixed this problem along with all the other issues noted above. Martin and his crew were a pleasure to work with and did an outstanding job with all the repairs. I will use Martin again if I need home repair.

I was in need of a new roof to sell my house. Martin was very prompt, honest, fair and easy to work with. He went above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommend his services. I had no prior connections with Barr roofing and remodeling, found him in the yellow pages.

Particular, attention to details. Martin Barr's word is good! They took care of all insurance dealings etc.... We have understanding next tornado comes through i'll contact them again. They did super job on every thing.

Barr was great to work with. We had a variety of jobs done, and everyone who worked on the house was professional, personable, and helpful. Barr himself checked in constantly to make sure we were happy with what was happening and understood what our options were moving forward. We always felt confident that they had our best interest in mind. At the end, the work looked great!

Martin and his crew delivered a great product. He remained in contact with me the entire time, relaying any delays due to weather and the condition of the roof decking once they removed the old shingles. He delivered everything he promised and was easy to work with.

When I was getting bids for a new roof due to hail damage I didn't know who Martin Barr was. When I met him I liked the way he talked and he seemed knowledgeable about the insurance. Also I had damage not limited to the roof and it was nice to have a contractor who could do it all. The roof was done to our satisfaction in one day He was onsite several times ensuring everything was done properly including the clean-up. I found him to be honest, friendly, and personable, He did what he said he would do and made it a point to see that we were satisfied and is still available if we need him. Martin was straightforward and "Down to earth." I would recommend Barr Roofing to anyone needing a roof or other repairs on their home. He's ok in my book!

Due to the recent hail storm I had my personal home and 2 rentals plus my mother in laws house to be reroofed..Barr Roofing did a quick excellent job and kept a very neat and tidy work sight at all times. He has several crews working now but oversees each one personally to be sure of the quality of the work. I would reccomend him to anyone looking to have their roof replaced in an honest , neat and tidy excellent way. In fact I just referred 2 more roofs to him .

My mom hired Martin Barr at my recommendation.

I tried several places, but residential roofers are hard to find in St. Francois County. Martin was friendly and gave a reasonable quote, considering he couldn't see under the shingles. Due to previous jobs and bad winter weather Martin didn't get to my mom's roof till January (bid was put in in Oct.). Job took 2 days, Rotten decking was replaced and bad wood along the eaves was replaced. Finally saw it last week (last week of July) cause I live in Texas. Great job. Excellent clean up. No complaints. I definitely recommend Barr Roofing.

Barr Roofing replaced our roof and put down all new decking. It looks fabulous!!! It really refreshed the look of our house. Barr Roofing replaced our entire roof December, 2014, which was leaking because of shoddy work by another contractor who had installed it only 8 years ago. In the previous installation, the roof shingles were not straight and the ridge cap had curves in it. Martin Barr recognized the previous inferior workmanship and promised to do a top notch job. He installed new skylights and replaced our entire roof with apparent excellent results. The shingles and ridge cap are now straight. Overall, the installation and workmanship done by Barr Roofing is up to the standard Martin Barr promised. His employees were very hard working and seemed to take their jobs very seriously. Clean-up was excellent.

The work I needed was done in a very prompt and professional manner by Martin Barr and his crew with attention to fit and finish that I would have never anticipated. Martin is a hands on person who expects nothing less that perfection from himself and his employees. He personally oversees every aspect of the job and will keep you abreast of all pertinent information from start to finish. Before we hired Barr Roofing, we called around to get estimates. Martin was extremely thorough in his inspection and very reasonable. The hard-working crew had our roof finished within 4 days (in the July heat). Martin was very knowledgeable and kept us informed of what was happening every step of the way. He insists on things being done correctly and takes great pride in his company's work. We are completely satisfied and Martin was great to work with.

Back in October I had Barr roofing replace my roof. After an awesome experience and amazing results I contacted Martin again to have new siding, fascia, soffit and gutters replaced on my house. The project was finished fast and with amazing results. Martin went above and beyond to make sure the project went smooth. He kept in constant contact with me and was meticulous with the finishes.
