Waiting in long lines is one thing but when the mail isn't even delivered for a week because of a little snow?...they told me that only 6-8 out of 24 people showed up for work!!! The first day I can understand, a lot of women can't drive in the snow but the following days the streets were clear! Tomorrow will be a week since we've had a delivery and two packages are several days over due...they're sitting in the truck in the parking lot at the post office...I will most likely not see these until next week! This is absolutely unacceptable...private business would be bankrupt in short order if they operated like this...what a bunch of sissies! At a starting wage of $72,000 and all the days they get off...all this and they're too lazy to get out and deliver the mail? I know why they do it...why not there's no accountability!...you can't fire these people so they just figure what the heck! I remember when real men delivered the mail...in 1969 we had over four feet of snow but they got the mail out! These were men a lot of whom fought in WWII they would be so ashamed of this bunch today! I would be absolutely embarrassed to be associated with such characterless slackers! UPS and FEDEX never missed a beat! they've been all over our neighborhood since day one...and these people are behind for at least a week....no more excuses...there are none...this is just a shameful debacle!
