Very negative experience with this funeral home.

- They tried to refuse to accept life insurance assignment - even though we were told it could be used in initial planning meeting - owner's wife said they doesn't like to accept assignment from our insurance carrier because they pay too slowly - she even threatened to CANCEL the funeral if we did not come in and pay by cash or credit card instead. (this threat was made after 5:30pm the business day before the funeral).

- No water or other comfort items available to family.

- No background music during visitation or before services.

- No audio/visual equipment or screens available.

- They provided the local florist with incorrect information about the time of the funeral so flowers were not delivered on time.

The sweet family who own and operate this business could be a model for this type business.



I have never seen any of them without a smile on their face or a kind word, or acting any way but in a calming, efficient, and business-like manner.



They want you to be comfortable.



They to things correctly, and at the same time in a very comforting way.

DON'T GO HERE!!! These people are so unorganized and unprofessional. I never received an answer or assistance when I called. They ALWAYS had to call me back which was the next day or longer, every time. Everything for the funeral was on hold because they couldn't give me answers when I needed them. The major complaint I have is, they put incorrect information on the death certificate and refused to get it corrected or even help to get it corrected. They stated that the information on the certificate was what I said even though IT WASN'T!!!! I had two other people in the room with me when the information was given and they can verify what I said. When I confronted them I was told "I don't care how many people you have in the room to verify, our paperwork says otherwise." They would never show me that paperwork and stated that I had to prove to the state that is wrong and correct myself. I had to endure the verification and expense without any help from them at a very difficult time in my life. The incorrect information was very important because it pertained to the will and his heirs. This is a ma and pa shop and these people are too old and should retire before they do this or worse to other people. Save yourself some grief and go somewhere else.
