I have a review that needs to be heard. My wife has a mortgage through A.E.A. Federal Credit Union. 2 years ago, we applied for a small loan to effect some very necessary repairs. She was denied and the loan officer blatantly lied as well as claimed that she placed the needs of the patrons/customers first. She asked that I not use her name but I will use mine because I have nothing to hide and I am one who speaks his mind without fear, remorse or falsities.

The loan officer was exuding her authority as she was threatening that she was going to file information against my wife's credit report as the mortgage payment was .26 cents, yes cents!!!. short but this was due to the unqualified counter person as i had been the one to actually pay it that month. I had to actually file a formal complaint against AEA, as she is an acting agent for them. I had filed directly to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in D.C.

The loan officer then insisted she places the needs of the credit union members first and I explained that if she said that enough times each day, than eventually she would feel better as well as believe it. Well, she denied the small loan we requested for necessary home repairs. She refused to assist us in lowering our 7.375% interest rate and this was 2 years ago. Had she protected the needs of this particular member, than we could have caught the roof damage early enough to alleviate the now $9.000.00 to $17,000. 00 repair cost that we now must endure. Three of the rafters in the roof are now fractured and we are now able to thank A.E.A. for the assistance they offered with this. Then, the interest rates are from 3.860% to 4.882%, but since my wife and I are 100% permanently and totally disabled, my wife gets to pay 7.375%. So, I am so very proud that my wife is a member of such a greedy selfish agency such as this. Viva William "BILL" Liddle.
