When we bought our snake, the staff was a great help. The store is clean and nice. The selection varies but overall it's not bad. I definitely will come back here!

I have NEVER had any trouble w...

I have NEVER had any trouble with the PetSmart in Yukon. I use ALL of the ammenities in this store. I am ALWAYS greeted when I walk in, and someone always asks me if I need help.

I use the groomer often- I have 2 miniature schnauzers. They always come out looking gorgeous. My only complain is how long they keep them, but they are always busy, so it's understandable.

We also use Banfield Hospital. We love Dr. Cowdrey. She has cared for one of my schnauzers for almost 2 years. I have NEVER had any trouble with the receptionists or the dr's. They always call the next day to check on the dog, nomatter what you went in for.

I am very happy with the services offered at PetSmart Yukon. Everyone is kind and the services are good.

I couldn't be more upset by the service I received today. I took my dog in to get her nails trimmed. I have been doing this consistently for TWO years at various Petsmart locations, even this one. I came in with my well-behaved, Petsmart-approved trained dog, heeling at my feet. The girl working the counter was obviously new and inexperienced, but that didn't bother me initially, as I thought she wouldn't be the one actually working on my dog, I thought she was just working the computer. She proceeded to take my dog with her and I left like I always do. I shopped around the store and soon after, heard whimpering and crying. I thought it sounded like Bailey, so I went back, but stayed at a fair distance as I didn't want to rile my dog up further. I saw this groomer CLIP my dogs nails instead of GRIND them. If you know anything about dogs, especially large dogs, clipping them is not comfortable, nor recommended. Their nails are far too thick. I've always had people grind her nails. I always get a "FIVE STAR RATING" from the groomers. I then saw her start working on my dog's front paw and then stop and walk her up to the front. I thought she was done, so I went in the salon. They handed me the leash and said we couldn't finish because your dog bit her(the new girl). I was shocked. Not only did I not SEE this happen (as I was watching) but I couldn't believe it. My dog is not an aggressive dog; we have a cat and another dog at home. My dog sleeps on the bed with us and thinks she's a lap dog. I said, "Wow. That surprised me; we never have issues with her. We bring her to get her nails trimmed often... What do I owe you?" She said, "Nothing since I didn't finish." I said, "Well you did some, so what can I give you?" Again, she declined any compensation. I figured out why when I got my dog out of the salon... My dog's nails were done HORRIBLY. Some of her claws were cut down and were splitting; they never picked up the grinder at all! She had shed about 10% of her hair due to being so stressed out by the experience. And THEN, even after all of that, FOUR customers in the store said that my dog was super well behaved. So, tell me... WHO was in the wrong here? I know this... I spend upwards of $400 every month on my animals at Petsmart on food, treats, toys, and grooming... and NOW I will be going elsewhere.

I refuse to support this location. They treat their emplyees like they dont matter. I personally know some of the girls in the salon and they are looked down on and treated like crap even though they work just as hard if not harder then anyone else. The managers dont seem to care and so the employees arent happy which majes it hard for a "petparent" to come out feeling very happy

Screwed up my dogs hair!

I explicitly asked them NOT to touch the hair on my dog's tail or ears. They completely whacked off the hair on both and refused to explain why they had done it. He also had a nick on his leg. I will NEVER take my dog here again!

NEVER take your dog to Banfiel...

NEVER take your dog to Banfield, The Pet Hospital located inside Petsmart. NEVER sign up for their Optimum Wellness Plan. It is a complete rip off and the people working at Banfield Pet Hospital are incompetent and unprofessional! They don't deserve any stars but I had to put 1.
