I would definitely recommend Chikara to my friends and my family members. There's about nine of us and we went for a birthday to Chikara Japanese restaurant. I'd like to speak highly of two things that this restaurant has the service and the food is excellent. I did not get a five-star to the ambiance for two reasons. There was 9 of us and we were seated at their large table and the chairs were too small for us ( we are tall people). Secondly, we were close to the kitchen or we could hear a heavy accented woman probably Japanese using the f-bombs left and right. I really would like to keep this a family affair. I protect my young grandchildren from hearing all this. Now for the good stuff,the food was delightful. Most of my family members have never eaten Sushi before and our wonderful server Mary gave Top Notch recommendations in terms of food. Not only was she knowledgeable with the menu ,well spoken , and was probably the most attentive waitress I've ever had. She really made my son's birthday a wonderful day. And we got free ice cream fried ice cream at that. The only thing is she doesn't sing which is just fine by us LOL. Now the food, she recommended the Tres Amigos and The Lion King and ocean dragon ....all of them are top-notch tasty food. This is a great way to ease our non-raw fish eating family into the culture of a Japanese people. All together this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family members.

This place is by far the best sushi resaturant in the area. The service is beyond friendly and the food is amazing. I have never been dissapointed!!! I cannot say enough good things about Chikara, we are happy to be customers for life.
