Founded in 1941, Young Life is a Christian-based nonprofit organization that serves youths. It offers WyldLife and Capernaum, as well as high school and international programs. The organization conducts camps that include rock climbing, rappelling, water skiing, horseback riding, parasailing and other activities for children and adults. It also operates clubs that organize various games and music events.Young Life s Capernaum program promotes self-esteem in people with mental and physical disabilities. Its Multicultural and Urban Club offers spiritual, physical and emotional services for adolescents. Young Life also operates Club Beyond, which provides opportunities for military families to enjoy vacations at one of its resort camps. It maintains a location in San Diego.
