The Ford Lake Park System, located in Ypsilanti, Mich., is managed by the parks and recreation department of the city. It consists of Ford Lake, Loonfeather Point, North Bay, South Hydro, North Hydro and Lakeside parks. The parks have shelters, which are available on rental basis for picnics, corporate events and social gatherings. The rental application forms and fee schedules for the shelters are provided on the department s Web site. The parks offer various recreational activities, such as volleyball, boating, fishing and biking. It also provides playground equipment, nature trails and restroom facilities. The parks offer a special discount on entry fees for residents of Ypsilanti Township.
