After practicing for months to get my license, I chose to take the michigan skills test through Able Testing. I prepared and went through what would be on the exam before going to Able.

When we got to the parking lot where the test was to take place, the road tester did not bother to greet and was rather rude when I introduced myself. He was abrupt and quite mean to me during the test. His attitude and reactions were harsh and not necessary.

I took my road test with Halley, who is very nice man. He gave me tips while testing and corrected me during the test. I enjoyed my testing with Able testing, great company!

Great company,Nice and genuine people.Greg,Mindy,Halley all are very knowledgeable and professional,I took my test with Halley,who is truly an amazing person,He gave me tips while testing and corrected me where I was wrong and enhanced my confidence with his words.After test I felt myself as better driver,learned a lot.

Just took my road test with mindy. She made me feel absolutely comfortable and calm. She was so very nice and took her time to explain things. Very satisfied with my experience. She even took the time to explain to my husband about going into truck driving. Will definitely be looking into it and sending people their way. Her husband was very nice also. Thank you so much mindy. You rock !

I enjoyed my testing with Able testing. it was smooth and easy. Haley gave me tips on the right things while I was on the test. he was happy with my driving. I passed first time. I will recommend him and Able testing.

Greg was awesome. Very friendly and accommodating for us. I always look at reviews before going with a business. I noticed that Greg received numerous positive reviews so that who I booked my son Devon with. Greg exceeded the reviews. So glad we traveled the distance to test with Greg. Thank you Greg for your patience and understanding and my son Devon thanks you too.

Greg was a very nice guy, he talked with me with respect and make feel really easy to pass the test. He can even speak some Chinese word, which is really wonderful!

DONT GO THERE... you been warned. The testing instructors lacks integrity. They pick and choose who can start off where they left off at during re-testing..they passed an old white guy who knocked down 2 front cones during a 90 test lol then fail me for silly reasons. He told me to start over for no reason and when I questioned it, he said I was arguing with him = huh, lol....they give white people big breaks and test very hard on blacks = hmm?

Great company. Got me in very fast and my instructor Greg was a very nice guy. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Another nice thing they are cheaper than some other companies.

Mike was a great tester. Made me feel very comfortable. He had a great sense of humor and was very nice. I would reccomend this company to anyone. Very professional. I can't say enough how great Mike was in the passenger seat.

Took my test with Able Testing. The instructor, Mike, was very personable and tolerant of my shortcomings, and explained to me in detail my problems and how to correct them. Would go to again and recommend to anyone Able Testing, very professional and considerate.

I. Was with a friend taken the drivers test. Mike was the instructor. He did a very good job. He took his time and put my friend at ease. I will tell people if you need testing mike will put at ease. Good job Mike.

Able testing is the worst company I have ever done business with. Throughout driver's ed. I had no problems practicing with instructors, all of which told me that I was doing fine. When I went to take the driving test with able the instructor was very rude when I introduced myself. He didn't respond athirst and then abruptly said that I was too early (although I was on time). He dawdled for about 20 minutes before walking over to my car. Throughout the exam he yelled and screamed about my technique. At one point he screamed "you're gonna get us killed!" which had no bearing on reality. I didn't understand his reactions, I had never had any problems with 4-5 instructors I had in driver's ed. This guy was having a real power trip. He liked the idea that he could dangle the certification in front of someone. DO NOT SPEND YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE, ABLE IS ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES AROUND. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE. YOU DON'T WANT TO HAV ETHE SAME EXPERIENCE I DID.

It really depends on the instructor. I had a test with Mike before. He looks very serious and keeps talking all the time with a quite sarcastic tone and very fast speed, which would make most people nervous. I failed my first test, although I already had a driver's license from another country and people told me that I am pretty good at driving. Later, I rescheduled with Mindy. She is super nice and I passed the test with no major issues. So, picking a nice tester is very important when you try to schedule a test with the able testing company, unless you have a super strong heart to bear with Mike's continuous talking. Although some of his suggestions could be useful, I won't recommend him to anyone.

Wonderful staff! Very pleasant, helpful, nice. I was running behind and she waited for me. Great no pressure atmosphere. Very pleased, thank you!

The staff at Able could not have been friendlier. I was sent here by a friend for my motor cycle endorsement. I traveled all the way from Macomb Twp., MI based on that recommendation. Since this was my first time going through the endorsement process I was nervous. Able made this process stress free and I passed.

I would highly recommend Able, It was well worth the 1 hour drive.

I got my cycle endorsement this week! The staff at able was very friendly and helpful. I ride with a group of about 20 people, and most of us still need to get an endorsement. I will make sure to send everyone to Able testing. My tester was Named Mindy. She was very nice i would recommend asking for her when you sign up.

Years ago I made several horrible mistakes that ultimately cost me the privilege of driving. Once you are rely on other people to cart you around, you realize just how important the privilege of driving truly is. On the day of my test, my tester was not only friendly, but extremely kind to me as Its been close to 7 years since I've driven. She didn't express panic or fear knowing she was about to get into the car with an very out of practice driver. She answered all of my questions and even eased my fear. I was very grateful to have a tester as kind and sweet as her and recommend her as well as her company to anyone in need of any type of testing.

VERY VERY RUDE ! THE LADY WAS TEXTING ON HER PHONE DURING THE DRIVING ROAD TEST.

GOOD WAY TO LEAD BY EXAMPLE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. IN PROCESS OF PLACING A COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE OF MICHIGAN. WE WERE MADE TO FEEL LIKE WE WERE A BURDEN FROM HELLO. IT IS VERY SAD TO WATCH MY NEPHEW FAIL HIS TEST ON THE BEHALF OF THE INSTRUCTORS FAILURE TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE STUDENT BECAUSE SHE WAS TO BUSY TEXTING ON HER PHONE. MY NEPHEW WENT THE NEXT DAY TO ANOTHER COMPANY AND THE INSTRUCTOR WAS A RETIRED POLICE OFFICER. HE PASSED HIM WITH FLYING COLORS. THE WEIRD THING ABOUT THE WHOLE SITUATION IS HE SAID MY NEPHEW WAS THE BEST STUDENT DRIVER TEST HE HAS EVER HAD. PLEASE PARENTS DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS PLACE. MY NEPHEW WAS MADE TO FEEL LESS CONFIDENT. ONCE AGAIN I WILL BE PLACING A COMPLAINT TO STATE OF MICHIGAN. I AM ASKING FOR A REFUND AS WELL.

I took my driving test today, sad to say didn't pass the driving portion. I feel like my nervous got in the way. But however i am the one to blame for that. A lot of people don't pass their first time. The instructor Mike did a good job let me know what I did wrong, he was a nice older gentleman and after the test explained all my failures. Gave me a five dollar off coupon for a retest. So I can't complain about a coupon right? lol
