Love love love this salon! Micah, Jordan and everyone else that has ever touched my hair has done a terrific job. One of the best in York, in my humble opinion.

For my sons first homecoming dance he wanted "liberty spikes" in his hair. I called Salon Downunder East to set up an appointment. After playing phone tag for a week, the stylist finally got ahold of me and scheduled an appointment for my son. The appointment was (7) hours prior to the dance. I asked specifically will the liberty spikes stay for (7) hours. The stylist asured me that the hairstyle would last for (7) hours.

The day of the dance we went to Salon Downunder to have the liberty spikes done to his hair.

After having the liberty spikes put into his hair which looked great my son walked home, (2) blocks from Salon Downunder. Withing (10) minutes of leaving Salon Downunder, the liberty spikes fell. (6) hours later when it was time for him to get ready for the dance, his hair looked hidious. He ended up going to the homecoming dance without liberty spikes and was extremely disappointed.

I called Salon Downunder and explained to them what had happened. To my suprise they were not helpful. They told me that if I had scheduled the appointment earlier that the stylist - Amy - would have had more time. And my sons hair was so long it was difficult to do the liberty spikes. Besides when my son left Salon Downunder he was happy with the style. And that there was no way they were refunding my money, because they didn't charge us full price for an up-do.

Well I paid $40 plus a $5 tip for a (10) minute up-do.
