Dr. Beamer herself is a wonderful vet. The blonde haired "vet" that works there with her is a monster! I took my dog in today to have a broken toenail removed (badly broken under paw). I was really REALLY upset because she was just in the next room over and could hear her crying out when they literally pulled the nail out. I actually ran into the room where she was when i heard her start crying and yelping and they told me i had to go :'( i bawled my eyes out and planned on beating the hell out of the "vet". She told me they couldn't numb her because it had broken off at the bone or something and they couldn't numb bone. She didn't send her home with any pain medicine although she did give her a shot for pain, or anti-biotics to help keep it from getting infected!

I love this place. I've been to lots a veterinarians and this place is by far the best. They are so good to all the animals, they have really reasonable prices and are very accommodating.

Can anyone help me find a place to rent if I have a dog? Why does Wytheville have animal shelters or veterinarians if you can't live here if you love and have pets? I am a divorced 57 year old woman who has lived and worked in Wytheville for 10 years. I had to have my last dog of 14 years put to sleep due to her health problems. I move into an apartment where pets are not allowed. Now, a year later, I wanted another companion and best firend so I just adopted a puppy. I have to move now, and cannot find a home becaause I have a puppy! I will not gve it up! All the ads and comericals of pets needig homes. How do they even stand a chance of getting a home, if we can't have a home if we own one?
