I recently ventured to this winery (11-10-13) with a friend from Pennsylvania who had his reservations about the visit. But they won him over, too. He was very pleased by the quality of time spent there. The hospitality, the Sunday brunch, and the local band who helped make it fun to enjoy the sights and tastes of the place.

Overpriced food! Good wines. Great atmosphere. They don't make their own wines though, but instead pay to put their label on other wines. Example: fire truck Red is actually Riverboat Red. I don't get it. I would have enjoyed myself a lot more if I didn't pay as much for a burger as I did for a bottle. Beautiful property!

Be warned that you will be turned away if you bring your child(ren) with you. Certainly an establishment can enforce such a rule if they choose, but then they will also have to deal with review such as this one.

Great ambiance with wonderful food. We went for a Sunday brunch and were pleasantly surprised with this treasure in the country. There was a good variety of food with pleasant staff and wonderful landscaping to enjoy.

This is one of the nicest and neatest looking wineries I have ever been to. However, I HATE when wineries don't let you bring in your own food. we're not bringing in a bunch of subway sandwiches. just a few crackers and a little cheese so we don't have to buy their expensive mediocre cheese tray but can still sit and drink their $26 bottle of wine (they're not all that expensive). And I witnessed several families being turned away b/c they couldn't bring kids in. what the heck is that? it was kind of nice to sit and relax w/o a bunch of little kids running around screaming, but still, I felt bad for the families. but if you don't have kids along, I would highly recommend it.
