Martin Marietta Aggregates is the United States largest producers of construction aggregates in the United States. It has been supplying crushed stone, sand and gravel used to build the roads, sidewalks and foundations since its inception in 1993 as a North Carolina corporation. The firm is also a provider of asphalt and concrete in select geographic areas. Martin Marietta Aggregates' specialty products segment manufactures and markets magnesia-based chemical products used in industrial, agricultural, and environmental applications and dolomitic lime sold primarily to customers in the steel industry.
