Jama does the Best Hair Weaves...I can't described in words how pleased I am with her work. My weaves have never looked so good. As for the salon itself, If you like an upscale environment, that is soothing to your soul as you get your hair done, this is where you need to be, bottom line!

I live in Santa Barbara and was looking for a salon that specializes in black hair care. I am so fortunate to have found Jama Hair Studio. Jama introduced me to the Brazilian Blowout 9 months ago, and I have been coming to her since. Why? Flexible scheduling. Great service. Healthy hair that receives compliments.

I've been traveling to Jama's studio nice spacious salon for the last year now all the away from Las Vegas and let me say it's well wroth the drive, I can say she has the magic touch "growing hands", I can totally see the difference in my hair she brought it back to life the length the texture and strength , great hair stylist all around sweet and very thorough I would definitely recommend to anyone...

Jams is amazing. She has brought my hair back to life. She is the only person in the world that I trust to relax and cut my hair.

Jama is very professional and always available in time of need. She is very loyal to her customers and will stay overtime to make sure your hair looks good. Great location in Woodland Hills and atmosphere to relax.

I'm not sure why there are such negative reviews on Jamas Hair Studio because I have personally NEVER had a bad experience here in the three years that I have been coming here! When I first walked into her studio with (literally) the worst head of hair I've ever had in my life-- she was nothing but pleasant and kind. I wanted to try my first weave and she helped make all the right decisions to achieve the look I wanted. I wanted long hair but I didn't want it to look like a weave, Needless to say I have never strayed from her advice. By the end of my first year wearing weaves, my hair was at least 6-8 inches longer than when I had started. All because of her. I'm always calling late and she always makes time/room for me... ALWAYS!



My honest opinion is that you give her a try. She takes great care of her clients and their hair needs...that is why I continue to return.

I was referred to her by one of her clients. I was looking for a salon to get a really good hair weave and was told about Jama's Hair Studio. She did a beautiful job putting my weave in and finished it off with an awesome cut and style. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this lady to anyway looking for a great weave job!

Jama has a successful salon & commercial. She is one of the best Stylists in the San Fernando Valley. She's been relaxing my hair for about a year now. My hair has grown and it's healthier than its been in a long time. She also does a beautiful job with putting my weaves in.



These negative comments sounds contrived and without merit. They sound like personal attacks on a nice and talented lady who does a great job.

Hi I'm a muli-media producer and I send all my associates, employees and myself to Jama for our hair and nail needs. Most of us at the studios must have that ready for prime time look for our Movie, TV, or Runway spots. Jama made it an easy choice for me and my company to do business with her, we have come to depend on the quality in hair styles and make-up she has given us for more than three years, thank you Jama you're my Hero! She does really bad extensions and they look half done. Over half came out and she had the nerve to expect me to pay more and become a repeat customer. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money.

Jama is the Worst hair dresser Period! She did my weave for $180 with the beautiful Malaysian hair I bought for $400. It was a nightmare. While she was doing my hair I kept saying "it'll get better." but it only kept getting worse. When I got home I took the weave out and someone else did it all over again. Wish there was more reviews about this rip off lady. Could have saved me lots of time and money.

I was driving by this place and I thought why not try out JAMA. Boy was I wrong. This place was empty. I should have knew right from the start. I scheduled an appointment to get my cornrows and a relaxer done. She claimed she's been doing hair for 4 years+. Hated it!
