Poor poor service, food mediocre, very pricey

We were hoping to have some fun for new years eve, so we planned to go to an Indian restaurant for dinner. We called ahead and confirmed there was enough vegetarian choice which they said they did, but when we got there there was only one vegetable entree in the specials menu! :( Liars!!!

The person who took our names down looked so lost. He put us at one table and just when we had finished the complimentary papads he moved us to another table. When my friend was giving his order, again the guy seemed so lost.. He kept checking the entrance to see if there were more people coming in. My friend had to repeat his order over again. It was very annoying and i almost felt like leaving.

It was not like they were having a big New Years eve crowd.. dont know why the waiter seemed so lost and distracted all the time!

The food was mediocre and for the price I was very disappointed. Not going back again

.my wife and I love this place. We go most weeks either to eat in or pick up takeaway. It's cool that you can take your own wines - very affordable but quality food. Lovely people in charge. very polite staffe

Good Food. Great Service.

Anarbagh is a wonderful restaurant. I stopped by with a few of my friends to this restaurant and did not know that their food was going to be exceptionally delicious. Their restaurant serves great food and excellent service. My waiter that served me recommended me to eat a dinner special for two, it was tikka massala, chicken tanduri, sagpunir and for dessert we had kulfi and mango ice cream. If you never had indian food you can ask Zohir, our very friendly waiter that served us, how great the food and beverages are in this Indian restaurant. We were very happy with his service and the great food that we had for dinner. You have to come in here atleast once and try their food, trust me you will always go back for more!

Weird Jealousy

My wife an I used to frequent Anarbagh regularly and truly enjoyed our little, almost weekly, trips to India. We have recommended Anarbagh to dozens of families and they all became regulars.

I am compelled to write this review because of the way my wife and I have been treated.

Since the birth of our child we haven't eaten out as much as we used to. Because it is hard to eat out with a baby and we wanted to try cooking at home to help save some money and create a nice home life for our child. On my wifes birthday we visited Anarbagh for a special night out, we even brought our baby with us. The very first thing that was said to us was "we don't see you anymore" so we explained, pointing out our lovely new child. We expected a giggle and that would be that but the answer apparently wasn't the right one. He repeated the question and so did all the people that waited on us. We felt uneasy and after the meal left with a foul taste in our mouths.

We have visited again on occassion with friends and have received very cold and uncomfortable confrontations. We have gathered that one of the employees saw us at another Indian restaurant and apparently this is a punishable offence. They confronted us blatently with venom and made our company feel uncomfortable also.

We are very hurt by this behavior and think that the United States is no place for this jealous behavior.

We will never eat there again.

The food is fine. It is nothing special or fancy and is bland tasting. If you want real Indian food in Woodland Hills go to India Sweets & Spices or for excellent Sri Lankan food go to The Curry Bowl. I have nothing to do with these restaurants other than I like their food.

Great food!

Great food--fair prices! Staff is very outgoing --if you're not sure --let them guide you. Great place for a romantic dinner.
